I have always wanted to try the famed Dharwad Pedha (a sweet that has a GI tag) from Uttara Karnataka. After searching online for the best place to buy them in Bengaluru, I came across this one. The Mishra Line Bazaar shop is the most famous in Dharwad according to an online article that I read. So purchased a quarter kilo box. The sweet doesn't require refrigeration. Powdered sugar coated the sweet. I felt that the sweetness was a little too much and I could not have two of them in a row. But still as far as I know this is one of the most authentic places to get the Pedhas in Bengaluru.

Lovely pedas here. They're to die for. Ordered it from a common online portal and had it delivered to my doorstep, in Kolkata. The pedas are irregular in shape and are sprinkled with sugar. The pedas are soft and have the perfect amount of sweetness in them. They're pretty famous in and around Bangalore. It's a must try.

The TRU Dharwad pedha Shop, fully renovated!! Sourced directly from Dharwad, The origin of this Pedha!! Very fresh!! Other sweets and savouries also available and those too are from Dharwad!! Very helpful staff and knowledgeable too!! If u need in bulk, better to book in advance...!!

It's my favourite because of Taste that maintained till date. Now even verifies maintained. Hygiene part they need to take care. Instead if hand sanitizer directly on hand need to use non (athelene) alcohol. Recommending to use CORSAFE Brand for better results.
