My family and I recently visited Cable Car for their vegetarian buffet, and our experience was decent, but not extraordinary. The buffet offered a variety of dishes, making it a suitable place for a family outing. However, there was nothing particularly remarkable about the food.
In my opinion, the à la carte menu at Cable Car surpasses the buffet in terms of quality and flavor. If you're looking for a more satisfying dining experience, I would recommend exploring their à la carte options instead. While the buffet is a decent choice for a one-time visit, it didn't leave a lasting impression.
It's one of best veg buffet restaurant. Chose this place for team lunch and everyone loved it.
Beetroot kebab and neer dosa and palak chat was mouth watering. If cakes as desserts can be replaced with healthy laddus made of jaggery would be nice. Service providers were very humble.

Had been here for lunch. I chose a la carte. The food was good. The starters such as paneer was filling. The main course was also good. The desserts have small spread however it was good. The ambience is pleasant and the staffs are kind . There is valet parking available.
Cable Car themed table is at the ground floor. Buffet is available in Bangalore 5th floor. Buffet has 6 to 7 starters, live dosa, pasta and chat counters. Main meal has biriyani, Lemon rice, bisibele bath, rasam, papad, curd rice , veg salad, roti, Kulcha, Nan and a couple of north Indian side dishes. Dessert has 4 types of ice cream, 4 to 5 sweets, 4 to 5 cakes and fruits. Overall decent place for veg buffet. Paid (cost) 670+tax on Saturday.
Plenty of options for sure anything and everything vegetarian. Very kind and quick service. The not 5 stars is because of the taste of the food. It’s good but not excellent. We went to the buffet to maximize on the chats consumption. Masala puri was ok but the pani puri was disappointing. There were good desserts. They offer watermelon and pineapple fresh fruit juice. They don’t offer coffee for lunch. We were there on a Monday afternoon so it was not crowded and very pleasant. The experience of sitting in a cable car and eating is fun :)
A year later: they have Asian/Chinese/Italian/Indian A la carte. Whatever you order it’s just excellent.

Great place for veg buffet. Veg starters are better here. Desserts options are also good. Ambience was top notch.

We visited cable car in the weekdays around 9:15pm and it was completely empty ,and it had good ambience, fast service and gets your food on time , they also provide valet parking facilities without any extra charge and they add 5% extra service charge
The starters, chats and desserts are amazing... They can try and improve the main course. They have dedicated dosa counters, pasta counters etc... Excellent service and good ambience. Chats are good and so are the starters. Starters and soup will be served at the table. The remaining you can collect over the counters. Suggested them to offer small spoons for having the desserts rather than the large ones.
