This place is a vibe. Been here a couple of times. The drinks and snacks are really good. But itβs a place where you can just hangout with a good cup of coffee or hot chocolate, listen to some good old music and relax. My fav time to visit is after 8pm as it wonβt be too crowded. I honestly donβt come here for the food as I love the vibe of this place more.
I have been to church street many times but didn't get the chance to visit Matteo Coffea and finally today we got a chance to visit the place and it was an awesome experience with food and their coffee. The place was good even impressed with their service, keep up the good work however prices were a little high due to its location.
I would definitely try this place again.
This place is also.good for the kids and they have options available for kids as well.
Coffee options are really πππ
Thanks ππππππππ
Nice cafe with good vibes and yummy food to munch on. Perfect for a casual brunch or if you are craving something sweet. Quantity served per dish is enough for two people... Parking is a problem as it's located in a side lane of Churchsteet
Matteo Cafe is a decent place that boasts a prime location just steps away from the metro station. Their coffee is a delightful surprise; it's rich and flavorful. One unique aspect is that you have to explicitly request no sugar if you prefer your coffee unsweetened, as it's typically served sweet. The french fries we ordered were enjoyable, and the pricing is reasonable, with an average cost of around 500-600 rupees for two people. A unique coffee experience for those looking for a change of pace.
Great ambiance. A good place for coffee lovers. There are a variety of coffee options. We tried their hazelnut and caramel cold coffee, which were perfect (not too sweet and not too bitter). Also their peach green tea was great. A perfect spot for coffe lovers.

Brigade Road and its surroundings don't offer many spacious cafes. However, this particular place is quite spacious, and you usually won't have trouble finding a seat. It's not the best spot to work though, as the seating setup isn't work-friendly and it can get quite noisy due to its close proximity to other activities. The food and drinks are decent, but not exceptional. Of course, I haven't tried everything on the menu, so it wouldn't be fair to make a general judgment.
Though the food is nothing to write home about, it's the ambience and atmosphere of the place that stuck out most to me. The staff was very quick with serving the food too. Overall, a good place to sit and do some work on your laptop, or just meet some friends
I really loved this place, stopping by every afternoon to take a break!
I always order some ice tea (served with a syrup, to let yourself deal with its sweetness π) and a piece of cake (layered with cream).
Waiters are very nice and the prices there are really good for the area.
From the covered terrace, you can see the busy road and enjoy a good book (bookstore is just next door π€).
Also tested their egg sandwiches, and I was surprised by how good and well-stocked it was π³.
Sometimes, you'll have to wait a little to have someone taking your order (very busy near 3pm but okay near 2pm).
Had a nice lunch at this well located cafe'. It's a rather large restaurant with plenty of indoor seating and covered outdoor street side seating.
Service was polite and brisk and the food tasty.
we had iced coffee latte, penne in cream sauce, penne bolognese and spicy lamb burger. The Coffee and the penne dishes were particularly nice. The lamb burger was too smothered in mayonnaise to get the flavour of the lamb patty.
Great food. Great energy. Walking distance from MG Road metro station (Church Street Exit).
Portion sizes are huge.
