The starters are simple yet elegant and pull off the flavours of the cuisine.
The main course is just commendable with their pizza's and pasta's. How could I forget their beautiful soup , my personal favourite is the potato and leek soup . It was such a good combination of flavours .
The ambience is super elegant with white interiors and some good natural lighting .

Italian cuisine is quite popular in Bangalore and you may witness many a cafes and fine dining restaurants serving delicious fare all over the city. But what makes 'Red Tomato' distinctive is the delightful selection of Entrées that is served here. A refreshing selection of scrumptious and innovative hors d'oeuvre in their menu makes a visit to this place worthwhile. You should try the Signature 'Red Tomato' tarts here. The crust is baked to perfection with cottage cheese or chicken (for non vegetarians) in cheesy sauce. These bites are the perfect starters to a delightful Italian meal. You may also want to try the special 'Watermelon Feta cheese salad' here. It's super light and delicious. The 'Paprika Skewer' is another appetizer that will leave an unforgettable taste in your mouth. Available in chicken or cottage cheese versions, this skewer is cooked to perfection and has an amazing flavor. Another dish that requires special mention is the 'Crumb Fried Chicken Picatta' which is basically chicken marinated in capers, deep fried to a delightful crisp and served with a lovely tomato relish.
Apart from these dishes you may want to choose a savory waffle or a calzone. There's also a 'Pumpkin and mushroom skewer' for the vegetable lovers. The menu for appetizers itself is so vast that one can get Floored with the options. For the first visit though stick to the signature dishes and leave the rest for the following visits coz there will Def be more.
Seriously, you can just have a full meal out of this.
I wasn't too impressed with the pizza here though. I tried the thin crust chicken and I thought it could be a little more crisp. They also have the popular Chicago Deep dish that you may not get in most Italian places in Bangalore so if you've always wanted to taste that version, this place seems like a safe bet. It's also one of their popular pizzas.
They also have a kids' menu here. That's a huge plus for families.
The interiors are nice and the place is quite spacious. The weekends can get crowded so better to reserve and go. There's a vallet service so parking is taken care of. Recommend visiting this place for sure.

Got to visit this place recently, serving great Italian cuisines. I loved their soups be it veg or non veg. I ordered salads, pretty tasty. For starters, had channa stramball and chicken stramball which I would definitely recommend. Chicken bruschetta was also nice.
Mai course was all about their cheese wheel Alfredo pasta and death , both were win win.
In desserts, I loved the chocolate mouse and melon sizzler.

If there's any dish which gets desired by all and receives the love always, its Pizza. Every slice of it spells a magic one you. Pizza is more than just being a fast-food to me, to be honest, it is a symbolism of a celebration and to celebrate my love of it I have been a place called Red Tomato. With the aesthetic ambience, highlighting the Pizza speciality and smell of wooden oven makes it feel too good the moment I stepped in.
To start with, I have tried out Melon Sizzler beverage which had fresh watermelon juice with the portion of soft drink soda with black pepper giving it a refreshing spicy taste. Next on appetizer front, there were crispy french onions served with cheese dip, potato & leek, cheese-sprinkled watermelon & feta.
On starters, we have got boiled grams stuffed in between the roll of soft covering - Channa Stromboli, Potato Basket - a full platter of assorted dishes, Pesto Paneer Bruschetta with panner topped on the roasted piece of the bread. Then comes up the star of the show "Death by Pizza" - a double floored pizza with thin-crust on the bottom topped with paneer, capsicum and cheeses with the soft circular base on above of it with seasonal veggies and cheese one more time. Indeed, the name suits the dish best and it was not all be finished by one person no matter how affectionate you are towards Pizza, you must get your gang along if you do want to finish it off.
But among all, the one which got the limelight was the Cheese Wheel Alfredo Veg. There is a wholesome pot of cheese which gets heated up right in front of you bringing out the aromatic cheese smell indeed gonna make you feel Cheese-high. Once the cheese gets melted at proper proportion, pasta ingredients and the white sauce gets mixed on it. After mixing them all and serving them on the plate, seasonal veggies and toppings got added to it and served right in front of you. So yeah, it does taste good but more than it deserves to be on your plate for the experiential ecstasy of it.
Putting it all together, I am delighted that I have got to explore the place and cuisine here. This is the place for all, either its a catchup, a date or a group gathering, if you share the love for Pizza then don't miss this place out, guys.

AMBIENCE:
This newly opened restaurant in Jayanagar 5th block is beautifully done up in simple white decor and all the plants and micro greens add a natural splash of green.
The frames or the photo frames which are hung on the wall will put a smile on your face because they show how the pizzas are love to Everyone! 😂
The place has a pretty good majestic ambience, clean :)
FOOD:
-> Adam and Eve, white sangria and bloody litchi beverages were perfectly cool and flavourful. I personally liked "White sangria, where the wine is mixed with pineapple and litchi".
-> Potato and let soup, french onion soup were warm and scrumptious!
->Water melon and feta salad was mild and loved the combination between watermelon and feta cheese 😍
-> Tried some their appetizers: pesto paneer bruschetta, channa stormboll, potato basket( had raw banana fries, cheese sticks and pakoras). It was crispy and good!

The "Death by Pizza" yes! You heard it right.
It's basically a pizza on a pizza. A 18" thin crust box-shaped pizza is topped with a 12" round pizza. Fancy right? Try this once!
-> Then comes the creamy "Live tossed pasta on a cheesewheel"
And this is the only restaurant in jayanagar which served you a pasta prepared on Cheese wheel right in front of you :)
So, What is a cheese wheel pasta?
It is pasta is a style of pasta that is made tableside by mixing freshly cooked pasta(of your choice: penne/spaghetti/fettuccine) in a hollowed cheese wheel. A layer of cheese is scraped inside the wheel(cheese is lit on fire) so it melts when the hot pasta is mixed in.
I had chosen for penne white sauce pasta, and it was saucy and creamy 🤤
-> Desserts: were okaish. Can try them once.
Out of Death by chocolate and blueberry cheesecake, DBC was quite satisfying :)

Red Tomato is the brand new Italian fine dine restaurant in the locality. Located opposite to Jodhpur Sweets, Above Udupi Park restaurant. Red Tomato serves pure Italian food. I tasted some of thier dishes like
• Chicken Mulligatawny - A spicy lentil & pepper soup served with chicken, boiled rice & lemon wedges.
• Avocado & Egg Salad - Minced eggs & avocado on a bed of mixed lettuce tossed in a spicy citrus mayonnaise.
• Watermelon & Feta - Crunchy watermelon spheres with vinaigrette, balsamic, rocket lettuce & feta.
• Bruschetta - Thinly sliced crispy baguette bread topped with crunchy tomato & mozzarella tossed in basil pesto.
• Death By Pizza - A pizza on a pizza, A large box shaped Pizza topped with a round Pizza.
It was something new & unique to try.
• Live Tossed Pasta - Fettuccine or Spaghetti cooked in Alfredo or Arrabiata sauce & finished in a cheese wheel.
• Death By Chocolate - Layers of Chocolate & Vanilla sponge drenched in Chocolate sauce with roasted nuts.
• Cheesecake with Blueberry Compote - A classic cheesecake served with Blueberry Compote.
Overall
It was nice & fine dining in Red Tomato. It's a place to hangout with loved ones & familes.

Red Tomato is now open in Jayanagar to satisfy all the Italian cravings. With a quirky decor and an eloborate menu, this place is amazing.
One can find amazing Sangrias and wine cocktails here along with mocktails. The White Sangria with sparkling wine is a beautiful start.
French Onions Soup is for the subtle pallet and flavorful broth. Chicken Minestrone soup is where small pieces of shredded chicken with herbs and cream. The salads here can steal one's heart, Ceaser Salad is at it's best. Egg Avacado salad is again awesome, where avacados are mashed along with eggs and lettuce.
For appetizers, do try the Chicken Bruschetta, lemon butter seafood and Potato Basket with various potato offerings with Italian side.
They have four different kinds of Pizzas offering. Death By Pizza is nowhere found in Bangalore except here. Pizza here is made in a Brick Oven, for the DPC, an 18 inch Thin Crust Pizza is is the base while a sour dough pizza is placed on it. You can customise your pizza here. Pasta comes in a mozzarella cheese wheel, where mozzarella is melted and a choice of pasta is added along with parmesan cheese and also a Vegetables of your choice. The best part is the raw Shitake mushroom.
For Dessert, stick with the Death By Chocolate, a beautiful sponge of chocolate with chocolate sauce is yum😍 Cheesecake is another delicacy not to be missed

Red Tomato is a newbie in Jayanagar part of Town and technically its too far for me but after tasting the food I am totally totally convinced and infact was pushing my better half for visiting the place again..!!
Started with my Red Wine Sangria I started my hands on Red Tomato Potato salad with potatoes, Sweet Potatoes, Tapioca slices with some green peas - Mind blowing and tHe best Potato Salad I have ever Had..!!
Pizza’chos - a tasty discovery I must say, pizza bread is shaped like Nachos and topped with lentil sauce, jalapeños, Sour cream - WoW
Caprese - a different yet tasty starter.
Tried their Margarita Pizza, the best Margarita in Town if u ask me - the Best and A Must Try.
Here comes the showstopper - Live tossed Pasta, Fettuccini or Spaghetti is tossed in thr Big Cheese Wheel by heating the cheese freshly in a Wheel, its an experience with that aroma of fresh heated cheese.
Coming to desserts, Lemon Pannacotta was my choice. Over all, its a 100% impressive place with its taste and Decor..!!
We are going back again for more..!!
