Boteco on MG Road is a hidden gem right in the heart of Bangalore, just steps away from Garuda Mall. We chose to dine there on New Year's Eve for lunch, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience.
The menu at Boteco is intriguing, offering a diverse range of flavors to explore. The ambiance is vibrant, creating a fantastic atmosphere to enjoy your meal. The food at Boteco was exceptional, with each dish offering a delightful burst of flavours. However, it's worth noting that the service was a bit slow, which is something they could definitely improve upon. We savoured several dishes, including jalapenos with cheese, a delicious roasted soup, a flavorful chicken starter, a hearty spinach main, and topped it all off with delightful churros and ice cream scones. Boteco is a fantastic place to indulge in a culinary adventure, and despite the slight service delay, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience.

Now, let's talk food - their beef, pork, and lamb dishes are top-notch. Opt for beef cooked rare or at most medium-rare; overcooking would be a sin. The mixed meat platter is perfect for first-timers looking to share.
Don't miss the Brazilian cheese bread - crispy on the outside, warm and soft inside. The cocktails, especially the gin and tequila concoctions, are a delight.
Save room for dessert - they're as unique as they are delicious. Service is on point, making Boteco the ultimate spot for a hearty non-veg feast.
It’s a lovely restaurant.. the interior has so many plants and high ceilings, it has natural light coming on from top..
The creativity in food presentation is amazing. I had a crab soufflé sort of dish., it came in a really big sea shell.. it was just amazing to look at.. it was very earthy look and feel to it. It came with some short breads. The was such a delight to see the sea shell on the the plate in a city..
They had some interesting mixes of cocktails as well, I had one with açai , very similar to a smoothie but with liquor..
I am definitely going back there for more. But next time with a few buddies as the portion sizes are big 😄

Its always fun to try out new cuisine and experiment with flavors. Boteco has been around for a long time and they are pretty well known for their non vegetarian variety which is vast.
As a vegetarian i highly recommend you try out their tapas and cocktails its perfect if you are bunch of people wanting to try out many items.
My favourites from the menu included their - spinach and blue cheese empanadas, pao de quejo (i have probably butchered the spelling), their mix grilled veggies and their churros!

The dishes are an adaptation of Brazilian dishes, but they are very well made and tasty.
The quality/price ratio is excellent and the environment is very well designed.
Definitely worth a visit for dinner!

A perfect place if you want a great vibe and food. Especially great for going on dates or if you’re planning for a nice dinner kind of thing.
It’s definitely not cheap but you can get discounts on dineout so do make sure that you use that.
Absolutely loved spending my Saturday morning here. We were here to try their new Brazilian Açai Bowls. One can even customise their bowls with extra toppings!
I was impressed by the variety in terms of the breakfast offerings. From eggs to pan cakes to smoothies! Definitely coming back again on a weekend!
One of the best non veg foods I've had in a while. The meat platter is a must have, though it can fill you up and not leave room to try anything else. Grilled chicken, lamb, beef, prawns, sausage, bacon, tapioca, mushrooms, potato, cherry tomatoes etc with some great dipping sauces. All the meats were very well done They have a decent selection of drinks as well. We tried one another chicken dish and churros which were also quite good. Service was a bit lacking especially when the place started filling up.
Definitely visiting again.
