‘Goodricke teapot’ is a small and cozy dining near lakeview bhopal and offers good food with perfect lakeview and calm and peaceful vibes. Unfortunately I couldn’t try much of their food but I had lichi mocktail which was fine and some chocolate chip cookies which were also good.
I really liked the variety of tea these folks have and the difference in taste each tea has. While the ambience was pretty subtle, the quality of service is worth mention. And having cousins who are tea lovers, this place is not less than heaven. Among the top favourites has been the Turkish Mint Tea and the Kashmiri Kahwah. Both have a distinctive aftertaste which keeps lingering at the back of the mouth for hours, and that's something lovely about their tea. While this place is a heaven for tea lovers, there is nothing too special in respect to the food. And on the price point of view, it is a bit on a higher side. However it is worth every penny spent.
We were a bit tired and just wanted a quiet little place to eat something and found this. The place is cosy and has good vibes, they have got games in there. You can sit at the table facing lake view and just introspect about things over a cup of tea, or read, or just talk.
The tea was really good, it was the bombay variant. The chicken sandwich was average and bland in taste.
This place has a Soothing and tranquil ambiance in the vicinity of the lake. Being a teaoholic i loved the multifarious tea flavors available in their menu. I had kashmiri kahwah and ginger cardamom tea along with some cookies which were nice. The snacks have limited options but if you love tea the variety in it will just easily compensate.
It's peaceful to spend some quality tea time or play board games around with friends. Even if you wanna spend some time alone, this place can be a good choice. There is a cabinet with books as well so that's a plus point for all the book lovers who can read while waiting/sipping the tea.
The Bombay masala Tea .... Is a must try . We tried the oatmeal cookies... Loved it... Maggie does not need any discrimination... Staff was very friendly.... Along with the calmness of lake...
Beautiful location needless to say one of the best place at Upper lake to sit and enjoy the authentic taste of tea cut eye catching and mesmerising beauty of lake in front.
Apart from the location authenticity of variety and tea is also remarkable.

The tea was fabulous.. we had Bombay masala tea along with choco chip and oatmeal cookies alongside is a bowl of masala Maggie which does not need any discription.... Overall the food n tea are both worth trying . The staff was also friendly accompanied by the spectacular view of the lake......
It’s an interesting outlet. They have table games, great view of the lake and good shakes and tea ofcourse! What they can do more about is the staff’s energy and the air conditioning. Overall, its quite a cosy place where you can surely chill with your mates.

The Tea Pot attracts our attention because it is located in a place where we cannot but notice it. It's a cozy little place where a smiling Lokesh greets you and offers a variety of tea from green tea to Darjeeling leaf tea. Nice place to sit with a friend and sip the tea of your choice. Good view of the Lake too. As informed by Lokesh, this place offers tea and a variety of snacks on Saturdays and Sundays between 6am and 10am. I think it is on the house.

I would say it was best tea of my life. I want to go there as many times possible 🤭(yes I'm tea lover)...and this place is must go ..on bhopal list.
