Decent food for a reasonable price. Tried their paneer 65, dakshin special dosa, rawa onion dosa along with filter coffee. The paneer 65 was spicy and crispy and serves well as an appetizer. The rawa onion dosa was crispy but had a little too much onion than I expected. Their special dosa however was quite unique. It had cheese, paneer, dry fruits and other filling making it quite rich and unorthodox from a traditional dosa. The filter coffee was on point. Overall, itβs pretty good in terms of the atmosphere and the price you pay.
I feel that the ambience of the restaurant is quite tempting and aesthetic.. coming to the food they are quite delicious and most importantly the way they serve you in south Indian style banana leaf is quite attention grabbing.. rest the prices and all are fine and all upto the mark.
At Dakshin, we tried Mysore plain cheese dosa today.. ππ the yummiest one I ever ate.. Just loved it like never before.. Must try at least once here.. Highly recommended.. ππ€€
The food & ambience is really good, the vibe will have u hooked to the place. In no time you will become a daily mover. Coming to the food quality, it's really delish π & robust.... However the manners of the table won't let u lick your fingers....π
Note : remember to eat the South Indian delicacies as the name suggest "dakshin" ππ€ ....... Other than the SI dishes, all of them are average scale...... & on my word please try just once this dish "RASAM IDLI" ππ
The service was very good, it was quick. They didn't take much time to prepare our order, hence 5 star for it. The atmosphere was good. Their decor was more like some cafe. I expected to have some South Indian touch in their decor as the name is so. Well, other than that the decor was quiet good. Cleanliness was not up to the mark. The couch/sofa where I was sitting, I could see some food fallen & scattered next to my seat.
Now, coming to the food. I ordered Plain Masala Dosa & Paneer Butter Dosa. Both of them tasted good, the chutneys was even more tastier than the Dosa itself, but the price was little in the higher side. The taste and the price didn't match each other. I would say it was costly.
The prices are high but the quality is great. Not sure though why the price is soo high, it's got 5star hotel prices in a small restaurant. I feel if they reduced it, people could go regularly. I ate 4 idly for 178Rs here including GST which can easily be under 100Rs. But the quality by far is really good compared to other South Indian places in Bokaro. The packing is is also really great with everything in separate plastic containers that can be reheated
A great experience with authentic taste. I had a butter cheese dosa and it was really tasty and kudos to those chutney and specially the green one then i taste uttappan and it was really good and finally i had filter coffee it was also good. The only thing bothered me is the space. Table are to close, and there is no privacy. One can easily listen the conversation going around the next table.
Nice place for varieties of Dosa. Ambience of the place was nice and taste was good.It is a small restaurant with limited number of dosas. There were many dosa listed but the variety looked too similar (unlike dosa plaza).
The size of dosa was good enough for one person. I would recommend taking two if you are there with three friends.
Overall it's a nice place to enjoy with family and friends.
Had a visit to Dakshin once again and ordered a different menu for the takeaway and i must say it was so neatly packed. Most important the taste of food is on top plus it's hygienic and not to be forgotten just love the ambience of this place.
A must visit one in the city if craving for South Indian cuisine.
Never expected that I will ever have south special filter coffee in Bokaro.
This place offers you best in class of South cuisine dishes. More than 100+ varities of Dosa, breakfast special Vada, idly and much more.
Ambience is good, service is up to the mark, taste is awesome but yes, when you have these many pros then definitely you will have to expect much crowd. And here comes the only cons that seats are limited.
Please, expect rush during peak time like lunch and dinner hours.
I visited with my family around 10am on Sunday morning, it was less crowded with no waiting time.
If you're South Indian cuisine freak, please visit this place at least once. You will never regret the taste of food it offers.
