Piccola Roma is one of the best Italian restaurants in calangute goa.
The only thing which distinguishes this place from others is their unique wood fired pizzas and pastas with true Italian flavors. Service is fast and you get to see the pizza being made right in front of your eyes which is very interesting and an amazing experience altogether. The pizzas are completely different from the ones you get anywhere else. Ambience of the place is also very calm and pleasant with cozy and comfortable seating arrangements. Absolutely loved this place.

The food is amazing. The wood fired oven Pizza is very delicious. They have a wide variety in the menu. Definitely worth a visit.. Pasta was a bit under spiced.

Awesome restaurant with ambience, Taste and Service
Unfussy comfortable space, always a good meal here. The pizzas are very fresh and brick oven made in minutes but their meat quality is better than most of what I've had around Goa. Cured gently and aged well the hams just fall apart at their fibers. Excellent bread too, the salami platter is my favorite. In general the antipasto / salads and appetizers are fantastic I could fill up on those.
Just 5 minutes away from the beach, Piccola Roma is the place to be if you love Italian cuisine. They have an amazing variety of options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. I had a refreshing blueberry mojito and got to try the gnocchi in butter sage sauce. The gnocchi was soft and just perfect. A wonderful place if you want to go away from the hustle of Calangute market and have a quick bite before visiting the beach.
This pizzeria has a lovely menu with lot of good options of pizza, pasta & desserts. Though all the desserts weren’t available at that time which slightly disappointed me.
Vegetarian as well as non vegetarian options are available for wood fire pizza. Good options in spaghetti & fettuccine are there which is worthy to be tried. Their cocktail section is also good.

The pizza base was made in wood fire oven. It was thin & crispy. The pizza was good, but the base can be better.
Ambience is pretty cool. It’s located near to Calangute Beach. So must visit this place for their authentic Italian cuisine.

Really enjoyed my lunch at this outlet, though most of the things were not available, fillet Al Gorgonzola saved the day for us ! Loved the creme of gorgonzola cheese and the fillet was amazing, the spinach parmesan was surprisingly good ! And to beat the we ordered lemonella which was so damn refreshing! It made my day

Be in Goa and not eat Italian is like not having petha in Agra. The pizzas are made to order with live kitchen experience. Servings are fast and portions are good. The ambience is chic and chilled out. Best for friends and foreigners.
The Best place for food and drinks in Goa (atleast amongst the places I visited).
Located in Calangute, this place will probably seem like a simple cafe, but believe me this place has one of the best Cannelloni I have had till date.
The texture, layering and the baking was done just perfectly, the wood fired taste had amalgamated well with the tomato spread making it a MUST TRY!
We moved on to our second favourite dish - Pizza Verdure, it was delicious and probably could have it all day long.
Along with the amazing food, we had Shiraz - red wine and Sambuca which were great accompaniments.
Overall a great place, with awesome food and drinks, humble decor, and good service.
Will be back for more :)
The pizza is great as everyone has mentioned, but I'd like to stress on pastas, the variety, taste, and presentation was superb. When had with the perfect choice of wine, made a great combination.
The staff was curteous, polite and helped with the choices.
Let it be Vegetarian or non veg, they have it all.
Would definitely recommend if your into different varieties of cheese and Italian food.
Probably the very best pizzas I’ve had here in India. The pizza dough is shaped in front of you in a counter, it is seasoned right in front of you.
The cheese is amazing, the Cafe de Goa pizza uses local chorizo pork sausage to make what is effectively the best pizza I’ve had anywhere in Indian locations.
Their Margherita is amazingly well made with fresh basil on top. What a little gem!!!!
Only issue is if you go for lunch early - they may not be open or serving until 2-3pm. Disappointed when that happened as I showed up twice in the afternoon to no avail.
By far some of the best pizzas I've had in Goa. Reasonable prices definitely worth the food. The drinks selection is nice, the sangria was quite nice; for some reason their drinks are not chilled but rather cool. My favourite is the Goan pizza with goan Chorizos.
The parking there is a bit annoying, you'll have to park your vehicle are the very edge of the road, making sure you don't obstruct the narrow road and you'll have to pay for parking there.
Authentic italian food which is too delicious. We ordered a veg pizza which was made fresh from scratch infront of us and delivered within minutes. It was juicy, moist and still crisp with generous amounts of cheeze. The Canneloni pasta was bomb. Must try.
Definitely a must go for wood fired pizza. You will get thin crust only as base of pizzas. Nice ambience. Also very friendly service. Grilled chicken was also good.
Quaint, small and quiet place on the way to Calanguthe beach. The pizza's are made in front of us and are wood fire oven baked. They are simple but delicious pizzas. The pastas are also must try.
Nice Italian Restaurant, pizza is prepared in traditional firewood oven. Spaghetti was delicious, Nice ambience and very good service.
