This is a Hidden Gem

So Alif Restaurant is a Small Restaurant in the Lanes of Calanguate which serves halal Food with zero Ambience or Service but then it holds a Ace in its Hand.

If I ever have to Name the Best Biryani ever Consumed by me on my Gastronomical Journey it has to be at Alif Restaurant in the Tiny Lanes.
Inspite of Zero Ambience,Lack of Services and Everything but the Biryani here is a Gem.

They Serve it for Around 100/130 Bucks Enough to fill one Grown Adult and with Every Morsel Down your throat goes Bits of Heaven in its Basmati Form.

This one is a Winner in every Sense.
If you are Reluctant about the Place or it’s Hygiene just takeaway the Biryani but don’t miss out at all.

Best place in Calangute for great Halal Mughlai Food. The ambience is not so great but the food makes up for it. Being from Hyderabad, we we're looking to eat something similar and at the same time which was value for money.

This place fit the bill perfectly. The Beef Kheema and Beef Fry served here is amazing. Tandoori Chicken and Dal Tadka along with Paratha and Jeera Rice were different but delicious.

When in Calangute, Alif is the place to go if you wanna satisfy your tummy and still keep your wallet heavy.

Best value for your money and if you in a search for guaranteed halal food then this place is best for you.You can try any food all are best in taste and the place is easily accessible too. The only negative thing for me is to pay high for a roti/bread that is 20 rs for a single roti.

Food is very good and which is pocket friendly best of all was halal food and no compromise with taste as very few halal restaurants in Goa lacks seafood I had lunch at 4 pm still the food was good and different taste of so called Biryani any way food was amazing

Decent hallal food.... Dont expect the Ambience.... Beef masala and chicken tika were decent... Biryani rice was cold though.... Very difficult to find this place

A perfect destination for non veg lovers in calangute. Heaven for non veg lover. Typical miya bhai restaurant it is difficult to find Halal food in goa but Alif restaurant is genuine. We stay 4 days in calangute and all days we ate here in Alif. Chicken biryani and tandoori chicken is awesome although we are from indore and we love spicy food, so we ordered chicken kohlapuri it was also fine. Owner is very polite and well behaved. Overall restaurant is good for non veg lover.

Difficult to find this place especially at night.. the biriyani was good and the tandoori chicken was also really good..

don't expect ambiance but the taste is really good.. quantity of chicken biriyani was less but it is a trade-off with taste

Their mutton biryani is simply lazeez!! Generous serving with good pieces of meat and rice. It's not greasy or overcooked and the masala just perfectly blends in the flavors. Less hyped than the hundreds of dum biryani joints along the road. Yet definitely a winner for me!!

It’s a hidden gem , the path looks a little shady But food is good ! Try the chicken tikka masala ,tandoori chicken , Mutton kheema. Prefer take out as the seating is not the best options

Been there many times during my trip as halal restaurants r not that easy to find in goa but Alif was one of the best halal restaurant in Calangute we ordered chicken rolls and butter chicken and it was amazing. 8ts a must try if ur in goa looking for halal restaurant.
