They have excellent kebabs and very fine quality of biryani.
The chicken and paneer were very fine in taste.
They had an excellent cuisine also they have very good ambience plus a cherry on cake is their music.

Jamavar is a really very beautiful restaurant in leela goa. They server very delicious indian and south india food. I went their to have my dinner two day back, i enjoy a lot my evening with swimming pool veiw they call it alfresco area. I have ordered murgh makhani ,garlic naan and a glass of merlot red wine. Everything was awesome. I will most recommend to people for visit there and i will also visit again for sure.

Just loved the food. We took a buffet which was included in our stay so i would say that it was superb. The chef were humble and the service was good . Will surely visit again.

I don’t have words to describe my experience at this place... the food was just brilliant. The cherry on top of the cake was the music and ambience of the place. The place from the hustle and bustle of breakfast transforms to a restaurant in the evening where you get the best of food, wine, desserts along with a playlist so good that it enhances the whole experience of wine and dine!!! The service we got from Valentine and Gaurang (hope I got the name right) was impeccable. It’s because of people like them I feel like going to the resort again. Thanks Leela!!!

It was 1st January 1992 , I stayed at this gorgeous hotel . Captain Nair then named this Hotel in the name of his other half . Madame Leela poured her heart & soul to built this property.
First day was tired some & I had buffet breakfast 🥞, a lovely spread it was . My son then 5 years old wanted to eat whatever he wished. The wise staff gave him chocolates 🍫 & he was quite . This place has a such a calm & never ending area around the restaurant , simply fabulous.
Dinner experience was too good then .
Time vanishes & over the period few other visits & soon , I entered other side of age .
2013 December I took my younger son here for beach sports. After enjoying cool breeze , some what rowdy sea 🌊 & lovely sunset we headed to this part of Hotel Leela , restaurant.
He was aghast by the stead of all kinds of food . Being young & beach sports seems doubled his appetite. He tried all kind of food & was more than enthralled.
I had soup 🍜, & beautifully made to order vegetable biryani. The chef kept his word that he won’t give me a chance to yell . Lovely food & wondrous service. Past midnight I left to Panaji .
If you aren’t staying here too , the staff , service will be more than your expectations & I think the staff will under promise & over deliver you . Little pricy is tag for all such lovely star rated places .

Amazing! IT reflects and changes your mood when it comes to Jamavar. Well designed and the staffs and food really recommended for all foodie. Visited twice but the level of service always praised.
This was breakfast joint for three days.... their spread was really vast. Good ambience and great service the Leela standards are always good. Coming to the food taste could have been better but definitely better then many 5 star buffets!!!!!
Had a nice family dinner today at the restaurant.. the food was nice and quantities were much more than what we expected. Quick service and courteous staff. Only improvement area would be around ambience to give it more classy feel .. currently it looks more of a dining hall ..

We - family of 10 members travelled to South Goa from across the world to celebrate my father’s 91st birth anniversary. We decided to have dinner at the Jamavar in his memory. The experience at the restaurant Jamavar was just amazing. The service team was great, they took care of us very well. The food was also very good. We did give feedback on the subz galouti kebab and the chef was very gracious about it. Cocktails were also really good. They also got us a complimentary cake which my mom was made to cut.
I must say the hospitality and service levels are just amazing and excellent. Thank you to the entire team at Jamavar for making the dinner so memorable for us.
All the veg food we had tried here was delicious!! We tried the Subzi Galawati Kebab- Minced Vegetable and lentil patties filled with Cheese 🤤- they were so so yum- the best Galawati Kebab we have tried till date!!
For main course we tried the Awadhi Paneer (Cottage Cheese Sandwiched with Khoya and nuts and Cashew Gravy) , Nav Ratan Khorma ( Seasonal Veggies with Cashew and Paneer 🤤) and Dal Makhani! The Indian breads rumali roti, Pudina Paratha and cheese garlic naan tasted yum with the Gravies and Dal Makhani! This fine-dining Indian restaurant is (sort of) tucked in a corner of a bigger restaurant called The Restaurant in Leela Goa. We had a very nice family dinner here on a rainy right (it's only open for dinner). The ambience of the restaurant was nice - just next to the pool, dim lighting and old Hindi songs keeping company. The service was very good - prompt, attentive and smiling. The highlight was the food - excellent kebabs (Chicken Peshwari and Galawati Gosht), delicious & fresh curries, hot & crispy Naans and a glass of whiskey - what a nice Indian dinner should be ;-).
Went with my family here. We took veg thali. Ambience, service, food, staff everything was ten on ten. Highly recommended.
Excellent food. Especially service by Sudipto. The thaali was beyond excellent. Wow. We will come again.
