Review Farzi Cafe - Chandigarh

The influx of music and great ambiance adds to the beauty of any place; it lets any place look regal, when a place makes the right decision in terms of drinks, food, interiors and music. That is when your mind starts believing that it's at the right place. The same happened with me as soon as I entered the regal and beautiful Farzi Cafe! The place was a literal bomb! It felt as if it was blowing up with music, great food and drinks which were enough to call you back anytime you thought about leaving the place. Starting with the ambiance, the second you enter it, it looks like a pretty luxurious and everything shone like a pretty diamond. And it had to, after all it was its opening party! The music and the atmosphere got to me and started making a non dancer like me move his shoulders. It was fun and groovy. The DJ did a good job of keeping the audience on it's toes with some great music. Food that was offered was..... Oh wait.... I had a list here.... Ummm.... Ya! Here it is! Ahem ahem. *Dal Chawal Arancini, achar papad & chutney *Tempered Palak paneer quesadillas *Mushroom khurchan kulcha *Amritsari fish and chips, desi ghee hollandaise *bhatti ka murgh, brown onion raita *lahori chicken, tempered yoghurt *black sesame chicken tikka *thai curry paneer tikka, samba mayo *guntur chilly chicken *chicken wings, peri peri glaze *keema kulcha, mini jalapeño raita *tempura fried prawns,nimboo mirchi air foam *chicken change I quesadillas *butter chicken, green chilli mayo *classic margarita pizza *four cheese garlic pizza *tadka snow pea,asparagus and cherry tomatoes pizza *chicken barrage and spiced cheese *C.T.M. chicken tikka masala, Cornish cruncher naan *Herb crusted,paneer tikka SAN Mariano Makhni *summer Vegetable kofta,croquettes Banarsi Pukhtan curry *bathua sarson ka saag, makai mooli pide * mutton irachi pepper fry, malabari parantha Dead. The food is beautiful. I wanted to write about all of them but it would not make sense coz everything was delicious and felt like tears of happiness falling from the high clouds of heaven. *parle g cheese cake, milk custard, cookie dough essence Ras malai tres leches, carrot cream, rose petal and Dirt pile The desserts as you can read above were supposed to be crazy good but were average at best. The food department however did not disappoint minus the desserts. The thought of how they were able to constantly bring good food is elusive to me. But then the drinks made me realize the truth. Drinks Mocktails Farzi ok Litchi panna desire Italian smooch Grenny mint royal Date me So I go to cafes and enjoy the cocktails more than the mocktails..... However, this time, although the cocktails are supposed to be spiked well, were as good as the mocktails. They specially made sure that the drinks were to be enjoyed equally between the drinking and non drinking population of Chandigarh. Cocktails Chuski margarita Chai paani Farzi idea Bang Bang Farzi Apple Foamintini Long Island Ice tea Three Musketeer Banta kalajamun Shikanjvi Naarangi Aam papad Bottle ka Gin (skull) Yup those were the cocktails! They were a blast and I enjoyed every sip of it. It's a great place to hangout honestly! Your weekends can be well spent here. I promise.

Given 5 stars even though they have just started and have a few teething problems but their food compensates for everything. Tried 6-7 dishes and I must admit I loved them all. Paani poori was normal like any roadside vendor so that may be avoided. Rest everything was the best!

Finally after much anticipation, Farzi cafe launched in Chandigarh. The launch party was absolutely lit. Amazing interiors, launch drinks and uncountable humans. Haven't tried much of the food though but the place is good for hangouts and parties.

With a lot of anticipation and build up, Farzi made it's mark in city beautiful and how. Immediately after the day of it's launch the restaurant had announced the doors open for city dwellers. Certainly, the city was ready to get Farzified. Farzi comes from the bouquet of extravagant restaurants by Massive hotels. Chandigarh is opportunate to experience this masterpiece by Massive group that soon. Starting with the courteous, earnest and shipshaped staff at Farzi, Chandigarh. They know their job well, understand their work place in and out and make the visitor feel absolutely delighted of their visit. With a broad smile on the face, I felt so pumped up looking up to their spirit at the end of the day that I felt like shaking a leg with one of the servers. Because why not? Coming to the ambiance and the music. If you are one of those looking to set your own karoake while live band beats the drum and singer sings, please! This isn't a place for you. Go here for a bash of DJ night and enjoy best of EDMs after few shots down. Do the jazz or may be just free dance, that's what you'll love about the place, the place is to set your hair open and dance the night away. Well! If you are visiting during day time, expect the beautiful interiors to greet you with it's charm and set the vibe. I am somebody who love regional cuisine. Somebody who will always look upto Indian regional cuisine over various global delicacies. Farzi brings in an impeccable range of regional dishes on their menu served in an absolute awstruck manner. The innovations and brains on presenting a basic dish into a masterpiece is what Farzi is known for. Started the evening with one of the most loved starters Dal Arachini which was followed by the cliched panner tikka served in an absolute Farzi manner. Panner tikka with the marination of Thai curry served with Sambal mayo. How about that! Trust me, it was delicious. Next on the table was mini pyaaz kachoris which popped into my mouth at one go. Crunchy on the outside with soft caramelized pyaaz inside topped with Chutneys and sev. Alright! Main course was this curry cooked with peanuts served with sauteed veggies. The flavor of the peanuts was just rightly balanced and the texture was to die for. Paired with a dhaniya kulcha. The bestest pick of my dinner last was a dish named "Piddi". Guess what, it's a baked makkai tart with palak saag over it which tastes nothing less than sarson ka saag, safed makkhan and gud over it. Our main course was all lit. Had I been a person with sweet tooth in life, Farzi would have been my Adda to go to for all my sweet cravings. Honestly, once of the bestest cheese cakes I had so far. The combination of PARLE G with cream cheese is totally worth all that hype. This is one dessert I believe none can refuse dig into till it's last bite. The drinks were equally lit and we enjoyed each one of them. Starting from Bottle ka jin to Farzitina. They have some really talented bar tenders. Farzi was one great dining experience. It's absolutely worth every penny you pour in.

A wonderful restaurant in sector 26. It has great ambience, particularly lighting, Music by DJ and food. Besides delicious, the presentation was exquisite. Prices were also competitive. The idea of taste obliter a la coffee beans in a perfume shop was interesting.

Just like any other happening place in Chandigarh, offering good food, good services, and different sitting area options, Farzi is no different. They have good food and they tell you little facts about the food you order, play good music and make sure you are having a good time. The only thing I'd like to highlight here was this sweet girl Khyati, (pardon me, I can't remember the name as I am writing this after a month) who was the hosting staff working that night, took really good care of us. I am a rasmalai lover and would highly recommend their rasmalai. It is a must try.

Beautiful interior, the food was served well and recommendations were politely given by the one serving. Recommending the chicken biryani here which was quite different from the biryani of all other places. The gravy that comes with it is delicious. The only downside is the meek quantity served which doesn't go well with the price.

A Must try 👌 Farzi Apple Foamintini One of the most Amazing and Foamy Apple Martini with a hint of Mint and Molecular smoke makes you slurp this cocktail till the end. Highly Recommended ✌️ Date Me This Date and Tamarind Cocktail is absolute pleasure to date with anyday. Spiced and tangy Tamarind concussion with Sweet dates and sublime flavors makes it a dream date cocktail. You will be glad you dated this one. Highly Recommended ✌️ Farzi Ok It's a refreshing cooler for the soul as it has citrus kick of Orange, and Kaffir lime in a mojito base. It's punchy, yet have that subtle taste that brings Citrus at it's best. Guntur Chilli chicken Combining Andhra spices with Chinese wok, this Guntur Chilli chicken is a lip-smacker. Your taste buds will be surprised with a fusion of Andhra flavors of chillies, curry leaves and mustard seeds along with Chinese sauces and wok. Must try 👌 Tempura Fried Prawns This is one of the best gastroart that I have tasted. Jumbo Japanese tempura prawns with lemon and chilli foam spheres and swirls. A visual and sensual treat of food science. Highly Recommended ✌️ Chicken Changezi Quesadillas with Sweet Pimento and Yogurt Salsa These loaded Disc Quesadillas were given Indian filling makeover that tantalize your taste buds with spiced and smoked Chicken in Changezi style. The sweet Pimento on the top and Yogurt Salsa smears do remind you of the Mexican roots that is sheer delight. Chicken Tikka Cigars: One of the best Cigars that are super crisp, light, and with fiery red colored tips lit and stuffed in with Chicken Tikka granular variant with Caramelized onions and served in a Cigar box along with Yogurt based dip. Must try 👌 Braised Lamb Chops March wang korma glaze and Vari Grits These beautiful delicate yet crisp Lamb Chops are braised so well on the bone in maple soy syrup. Served over the bed of whiskey sour cream glaze, microgreens and sesame, this is a Rustic dish you should not miss. A Must try 👌 Mutton Irachi Pepper Fry with Malabari Parantha A Crackled Mutton Chunks innovations that reminds you of Andhra flavors instantly you take your first bite. The zing of Irachi Pepper lifts the mutton to a new heights. The soft and flaky Malabari Parantha rolled compliments this dish beautifully. Dirt Pile I would love to dive in this dirt pile anyday as it's Sinfully Loaded. You would love it too!! The Pile consist of Caramel and praline base, fig, Chocolate mud, coconut scrap, nuts, Chocolate truffle ball, and loads more. The pile comes along with A Big scoop of Vanilla Ice-cream,  and a Generous Chocolate sauce poured right in front of you. Indulge in this Dirtylicious pile !!! Highly Recommended ✌ Rasmalai Tres Leches Truly ambrosial and intrinsic as it looks, this desert is simply DIVINE. Loaded with Earthiness of Carrot Cream between soft spongy layers of Rasmalai in a bed of flavored and thickened saffron milk, pistachio flakes with beautiful handcrafted Glazed Caramel Rose petal net makes it a Blissful desert. Highly Recommended ✌️ Overall, we had a Wonderful Gourmet experience at Farzi Cafe.

Food and service is good. You can enjoy food and music.. music is little louder. Enjoyable place with friends as well as with family. I love pizza and chicken lolipop. You can spend quality time with loved ones.

Nice place to dine at as well as have a party. They have two different sections for the same. And they play really good non-punjabi music too. Their farzi chicken is a must try. The tiny breaks by palate cleansers are a great break between the dishes.

This place has a great ambience along with some really good food. This is a place for the alcohol lovers. In drinks, they have the farzi Ok (signature drink) in mocktails. Also, in the cocktails, do try the farzi Apple foamintini which is a pleasure to the eyes as dry ice is used too. The snacks are really interesting and unique. Paneer, chicken tikkas, mishti dohi shots, rajasthani pyaz ke kachori, crispy vegetable bun and so much to try. The presentation is also interesting. This place is a full package of enjoyment with a DJ and great music on. Also tried the wines of different regions here at the wine tasting session. Really lived the champagne and rose sparkling wine.

One of the most talked about cafes in the town. It has great ambience and lighting is great in the evenings. Music is sometimes too loud. Live music on Friday nights. food is average. 3/5 for food. Ambience is best part. Good for enjoying an evening with a group of friends.

This place will never disappoint you may it be the food, service, or the ambiance. Great place to be with friends and family. A must visit place once.

Good food, good music, and of course excellent beers, 4 beers on tap: 1 : hefeweizen : light, heavy bodied, little flavor of banana and little stronger of cloves. 2: blonde ale : a light malt oriented beer, no excessive flavors, a neutral like flavor, clearer than any lager. 3: traditional Bock : a chocolaty, caramely and roasted like flavor, little sweet at end. 4: masala saison : fruity, spicy and great for those who love spicy things. My favorite is masala saison, spicy flavor of gloves and black pepper. Overall a 5 star experience.

A popular café chain around India with a creative menu and most amazing presentation! I have always enjoyed drinks and dishes here, be it Delhi or Chandigarh… Farzi is located at the prime and happening areas. Plus-points for location! also a bonus if you’re in the mood for club hopping

I liked the ambience of this place. Special attention is given to the cleanliness and hygiene. I found the staff very hospitable and at our desk. Starters were amazing there and so were the main course. On top of that I loved their quirky and creative presentation of food ( in small trucks, phone booths etc). Apart from the food we also got to enjoy the live music.

Scam going on. The guys would tap ur card or tell u to enter pin multiple times. then say the other transactions would be refunded. i kept arguing that how will the successful transaction be refunded. finally i saw the multiple transactions in the bill. had raised query with my bank. they said successful transaction cannot be refunded. Have contacted Mr praveen multiple times. he has stopped responding now. Only option is social media and consumer court

we were brought to the resta by the attendent standing at the door and she made us comfortable...we ordered the palak patta chat and it was really great..the ambience of the place was great even my son enjoyed the palce...dahi kabab were nice but quiet heavy..we were not able to finish our meals..the paneer item was good..overall a great experience......the mango sorbey was great...

The food was par excellence. Dishes have been reinvented with a new twist and it's absolutely amazing. The lamb chops are to die for - one of the best in tricity.

Had an amazing dining experience at Farzi Cafe. One of the best place to hang out with friends. Staff is courteous and service is prompt. Dishes were aptly cooked and well served. Veg platter is a must try. Highly recommended for a good outing.

I ordered for galouti burger, honey chilli fries and parle G cheesecake and coke. The best thing on my table was coke. <br/>The starters were swimming in oil and the cheesecake was basically khoya barfi. We informed the staff, they didn’t have much to say.

So I recently had the opportunity to try the 'new and improved' Farzi cafe. I use this term because the place has reopened with better ambiance, decor and of course, food.<br/>Building on its earlier concept of food that is presented with a lot of drama, it has not compromised on the most important thing- taste.<br/>Talking about the starters, I really enjoyed their palak patta chat which had an elevated presentation, paneer tikka and dal aranchini. All of them so good that I really can't pick a favorite.<br/>One area they could improve in is probably the mocktails. I tried one called 'Date me' which should have been packed with flavor of dates but tasted like an apple juice.<br/>However, the thing that completely steals the show are their desserts. From a melt-in-your-mouth carrot cake rasmalai, to a Baileys' lollipop to jalebi and rabri served in a martini glass, you simply can't say no!<br/>And the best part? This place won't burn a whole in your pocket!

Farzi cafe is back! Had a lot of expectations feom this place as this place used to be my favorite.<br/><br/>But i think they haven't had any changes. The ambience is more beautiful now but the food is somehow disappointing. The drinks were really not worthy. They have very limited mocktails.<br/>Pizza naan was not even eatable. The cigar rolls haven't had that crunch.<br/><br/>Not at all,satisfied!

If anyone has visited this establishment earlier, one knows that it's all about fusion and presentation when it comes to farzi. And this time as well that remains the same, but with better food !<br/><br/>The starters were great. Right from the dal chawal arancini, the palak patta chaat and the prawns are a must try.<br/><br/>The cocktails were well made. The elaborate drinks menu spoils you with the choices !<br/><br/>The desserts were awesome ! The ras malai and the Bailey's shots were an absolute delight !<br/><br/>Great going team farzi ! We ll be back for more !

Farzi cafe is back with a bang. Totally loved the food.<br/>The ambiance is so mesmerizing. Impressed with the service. Every item i tried was unique and tempting.<br/><br/>You can't miss palak Patta chat. It was perfect in taste. Crispy and delicious.<br/><br/>Multani paneer tikka was also good in taste.<br/>Loved the presentation of cigar rolls😍<br/>The drinks were average though.<br/><br/>Coming to desserts, rasmalai khajuri was perfect. Finally visited a most amazing Modern restaurant...i would like to say that they are doing really great job may be that the reason they was fully packed even on Tuesday which suppose not to be so much busy after waiting for 20 min we got the table.<br/><br/>They have huge space the open bar that was really amazing the interior was nice they have lots of options in drink we ordered few cocktails which was nice ...<br/><br/>If we talk about food we ordered chicken lollypop chicken 🍭 🍭 , Goat cheese walnet tikki, Bhatti murgh along with few starters I must say the presentation WAs super with the unique style..<br/>Overall that was the one of most pleasant evening..<br/>Highly recommend place with the courteous staff#surely we visit again soon#

Heard a lot about the newly opened restaurant Farzi cafe along with Made in punjab so thought to visit their without delay and yes when we visited their all the things in air become true wow,<br/>The ambience is awesome even you can't blink your eye for a single moment the decore, sitting their presentation is super.<br/>We had our dinner we tried few suggested things which was really delicious..<br/>But the best thing is their welcome thoughts that's really stole my heart nd proved my decision right to visit their..<br/>Highly recommended place#must visit their#cant wait to revisit<br/>Overall, it was a pleasant evening..

Visited this place a number of times! Amazing food they have and moreover the presentation is just wow!! That mishti doi thing they serve in the begining ..then they have that ghujia shaped mouth freshner cotton candy. Just an amazing place and one of my favourties 😍

Went there for my birthday with friends but did not find the food very pleasant to our palate.<br/>We ordered a pizza and a mezze platter.<br/>The mezze platter had very limited quantity.<br/>We did not like the taste of the pizza.<br/>Would not go again.

|Dal Chawal Arancini|<br/>It is one of the signature dishes of farzicafe and is worth trying!! The arancini balls have filling of dal and chawal inside it and on the outside they are drizzled with pudina chutney, achari sauce and rolled papads. The dish was full of flavours and the presentation was outstanding.<br/>

Out if the box menu that’s what I love about this cafe . It is having the most generous staff . The complimentary dish and the cotton candy pan they give its so great . I love you guys because of your menu and the food is great as well . Always looking forward to come again .

Anything better than the creative food was the courteous and friendly staff. They made sure we had a great experience and enjoyed our meal. Cathy(I’m not sure that’s how it’s spelled) was a great host. The mocktails were amazing, especially the Litchi Panna. Dal makhani was one of its kind. The Lahori chicken was more hyped than it was worth but it was good. I went away with a bad experience the last time but I’m glad I gave Farzi another shot.

This is the second time that I visited Farzi. Ordered cigar rolls which had jack fruit filling ( and to my surprise, they tasted well), Quesadillas which had Palak paneer fillings were surprisingly well too. The Sheesha was good too. Over all, nice service

Just loved this place. It is divided into three compartments. Our waitress was so sweet and gentle. Loved the food spl mezze platter. Drinks were good. Not at all overpriced though i would like them to start with zomatogold. Stunning experience.

One of The Best dine in restaurant in Chandigarh from preparation to service and the serving everything is worth a Penny.! I went with my family and the waiter by the name Sanjeev bhardwaj .. who served us was very lively and he gave some really great recommendations for both the starters and the main course.! Overall it was a very very good experience.! 👌

Waiting for this place from a long time and finally it arrived. Its a beautiful place with great food. Service is quick and i had Thai green papaya salad, Vada pav farzified and gol gappa platter. Everything was perfectfrom quantity to quality. Golgappas were presented so well and full of flavour. Vada pav is a must try here. Overall a great experience.

A pretty good new place in town. Yummy fusion food with loads of flavour n worth trying . <br/>Loved the kebabs, the karhi chawal we had butter chicken pizza , lamb burger, GOL gappa chat , phirni and parleG dessert . <br/>Really good fusion flavour and something that the city was missing .

In short, Farzi cafe is an excellent place in 26 if you want excellent presentation, lovely ambience, delicious, rich and well flavoured food and dessert, and an extremely friendly staff. This makes Farzi an excellent choice for a date or even a good outing with friends.<br/>The staff here is extremely sweet and friendly, giving you suggestions and being very professional about their work. The ambience of the place is a highlight, with bright vibes and very comfortable seating.<br/>Coming to the food, we started with the nachos. A chef's recommend, this was a unique dish since the there was an excellent fusion of paneer tikka with cheese and Mexican flavours, with nachos on the side, keeping them crisp. The soup was one of the best ones I've had. Rich, thick, steaming and balanced with plenty of flavours. We were them given a sherbet to cleanse our palates for the main. The main was very well cooked. Mixed vegetables in a thick, spicy gravy was an excellent meal for two. Lastly, the dessert. On the waiter's recommendation, we went for the rasmalai. A soft, porous centre surrounded by an ocean of rich malai with an essence of rose, topped with caramel, this was a perfect conclusion to our evening and in my opinion worthy of being the highlight of Farzi.<br/>Kudos to the manager for checking in on us and the staff for making this evening special :)

The place has awesome fusion food on menu,the staff is highly courteous ,we had dal chawal aracini which was outstanding and a must try, mocktails are good, bhelpuri was just as usual, desi chowmein Served is typical desi and are a treat to taste buds, piza was gud.rasmalai is delightful but little bit overpriced, and surprise in last is candfloss paan. In totality its an experience not to be missed

This place has lip smacking food the creativity in food or fusion is at its best.drinks are also good but as they say everything has a its own drawback so this place despite being very good in its kitchen department does not offers you the ambience you are seeking everything is bit outdated as being a cafe of contemporary era you desire for more so if you are looking for only good food this is the place.

FOOD at Farzi was above average. The dishes were well laid out & presentable. AMBIENCE was gusto & vibrating. Music was too loud not suitable for family dinners and an ache for the ears. The fervor was apt for Valentine's and lifted the spirits. SERVICE was slow due to rush. A little EXPENSIVE. Farzi's mouth freshner, Dal chawal Arancini & Nazami tarkari Biryani are worth a try:)

Last year may 2018, i first visited the farzi cafe nd food and hospitality was awsome but this year yesterday i viseted with 2 other friends nd we had similar kaind of experience after having meal.. three of us felt drowsiness nd acidic. I had vomiting too. We just order amritsari fish and one veg main course without any hard drinks. In dining also, music was loud. Amount(quantity) of food given was overpriced.

Specially recommend "dirt pile". Heaven for chocolate lovers. Thumbs up for the service and the staff. Great place. The appetizer and the mouth freshnre at the end really are one of a kind and gives them an extra edge on pleasing everyone.

I got to know about this place though a friend since I was looking out for a place in Chandigarh which had nice vibe and decent food.<br/><br/>Ambiance: They have an indoor and outdoor seating section. I chose the outdoor section since it looked more cosy.<br/><br/>I would not recommend this place to people who are looking for a quiet place or soft couches to lounge on, their seats aren't that comfortable. The music was nice but a little too loud, especially since I was there at 1 in the afternoon. But if that's what you are looking for you'll like it.<br/><br/>Food/drinks: I had beer and a few starters. I'd like to give a special mention to the chicken in sesame sauce or something like that. It was brilliantly cooked.<br/><br/>Service: We had a nice person and the manager also stopped at our table to check if everything was fine so I appreciated that.<br/><br/>Would recommend you check this out at least once.<br/>

A fancy place for people who do don’t like to indulge in large portions. <br/>Ambiance is good and the staff is extremely hospitable and ever smiling.<br/>• As far as the food is concerned, their preps are good but find their portions very small.<br/>• out of the newly launched menu, their quinoa salad is worth trying. I also liked their sizzlers.

The quality of an outlet is expressed by the staff of an outlet....I have been to many places...the difference is made by the courtesy of the staff...I'd like to mention a great service from miss devyashi handa... she is a lovely girl... she helped us with the menu... she made us feel very cozy... :)

Always been a fan of the way Farzi cafe presents it's food. My first time was in Pune. That branch is absolutely in a different zone. Anyway, the food and the way it's served, has to be the reason for this place being a sell out. Secondly, the hospitality and politeness of the staff, is what makes your experience more comfortable. Would like to come here during it's peak hours to really experience the ambience.

They serve good food with unique names in their menu. The ambience is great with different areas for fine-dining and screenings. The prices are on the higher side and food portions are particularly small, though.

To begin with i want to say the staff was very co-operative.<br/>But a lot of improvement needs to be done on the menu.<br/>They had no shakes at all....no pasta, no french fries . It is quite disappointing on the first impressions for an outsider.<br/>We had Indian and it was ok .

The food is good and loved the desserts, great place to hangout with frnds. They should keep more nights of live bands and experiment with the menu as well.

Visited this place on Sunday.<br/>Ambiance is okay,they have places both for hard music as well as soft music lovers.<br/>Best thing is they serve mishti doi shots before serving food which kinds of act as an appetizer.<br/>We orderd chicken shorba and fried chicken ,both were good but I have deducted 1 star for the quantity they serve.It's very less compared to price,Our order total for both items was about 800-850 inr which is really expensive.<br/>But staff is very friendly,for that only I have given them 4 rating,they really treat you well !!<br/>Not to forget their saunf in cotton candy style.

I don't have the picture of other food that we ordered but the I honestly say that they have a good flavour combinations and one good Catchy name menu to decide what you need.
