The overall experience and the struggle to get that ice cream is actually fun! Worth visiting and your money if you are in Elante. Kudos to the stall!
I had seen a number of videos of people serving turkish ice cream in a really interesting manner and when I saw an outlet I couldn't stop myself from visiting. I tried the belgian chocolate ice cream and it was indeed great. But even more amazing was the style in which it was served. I really had a lot of fun.
This tiny kiosk serves turkish ice creams, and ofcourse the serving style is one of a kind. I tried the charcoal ice cream. I loved it, however i feel it could have been presented in a better manner.
Twister scoops was new to me. I saw the crowd gathering and went over there. First of all, their way of giving ice creams was really awesome. The tricks they play while giving the ice creams is tremendous. Also the guy , who was giving the ice cream was enjoying while playing tricks with ice cream and cone And it feels really good when someone so happily presents you your ice cream .Then i went to search for the flavours they had , i tried many of them , each and every flavour was unique , totally different and so yummy . I would recommend every one to try this atleast once. I took
RED VELVET ICE CREAM: it was so mouthwatering. It had some extra velvet inside and as i it took a bite of the ice cream , flavours got easily mixed in my mouth , the flavour stayed there due to some strong pieces of red velvet, it gave an amazing soothing effect. I really liked it.
Overall: 5/5

Chanting magical hymnals in #kurmanji or #kurdish to the occasional “Ice-cream nice-cream” with the clacker of the three foot long spatula against the tubs full of bites full of joy.
I remiss and can still hear the sound reverberate in my head.

Turkish ice-cream man isn’t a vendor, he is an entertainer, a showman! My first encounter with @twistingscoops was in @thegrubfest chandigarh (they have a full 2 min feature on my coverage on YouTube)

Condiments are a choice from Chocos to butterscotch balls to gems.
•
I’d suggest trying the ice cream as such without condiments first.

Now to the #funfacts
Dondurma recipe was kept secret for 300 years by the Ottoman Empire period.
•
There is a similar yet fluffier and lighter iteration in Syria called Booza
Other versions are found in northern Greece called “dudurmas" or "kaimaki"

Dondurma typically includes the ingredients cream(original recipe uses goat milk but in India it’s made with cow milk), whipped cream, salep( a flour derived from the roots of early purple orchids), mastic(a resinous sap responsible for the chewiness, elasticity and bite of Turkish Ice-cream), and sugar. It is believed to originate from the city and region of Maraş
Both #salep and #mastic are hard to obtain in India.
I had an awesome experience... the best part i like about this icecream is quality and taste.lots of flavours are there at reasonable price... i had cookies and cream and chocolate....i felt very nice .
