Today in the morning i was searching for food and finally i reached a place named as NOVELTY Restaurant with proper parking area in the main market. When i entered the place the interior is good with comfort seating . The staff is very co-operative & friendly with smiling faces. Now something about food. The food is very delicious with proper quantity and my pickings from their menu were :-
:- Lime Water (5/5) its quite unique in taste
:- Palak Paneer (5/5) proper quantity of palak & Paneer
:- Malai Kofta (5/5) tastes good with spices and flavoursome
:-Butter Naan (5/5) properly baked and taste is mouth watering
:- Butterscotch ice-cream- (5/5) creamy and tastes good
The best thing i have seen here is the service is very quick and fast

Overall a good place to dine in and hangout with family and friends. So a must recommend place from my side & will come here soon😁😁

Amazing dining experience at Novelty. A friend of mine took me there and I couldn't give up eating sumptous food. Its a small place but its big on taste and food. Purely Punjabi Indian. No matter what you order it will just tastes amazing. I hope it stays running for many more years to come ! Mushroom items, dal makhni, tandoori roti a must try out

More than half a decade old, this is one of the oldest establishments of Chandigarh that is still in business. The place is small with elegant yet cramped up arrangements but hey! That also means plush seats! It offers the best biryani I have had in Chandigarh. The vegetarian menu is also a cent. A must visit for days when you are game for them old school feels!

This is a really old restaurant and is still maintaining the originality.. I used to go to this place 10-12 years back.. And even today the have a few things as they were.. The food is very good.. Purely indian.. The richness of the curries is very good.. The preparation of everything was nice.. Service was quick.. Waiters were all friendly.. All in all it was a nice experience to go there after so many days..

Novelty restaurant in Sector 22 is certainly a legend known for it's legacy over the years, as well one of the first restaurants of city beautiful. The current owner Sahil Puri takes pride in sharing this legacy and himself cooks the base gravies every morning so that there is no alteration or quality issues. The food here is simple, reasonable and generous in quantity. When visiting sector - 22, do visit. :)

Very nice ambience, this whole platter was of around 275 something, and it was delicious as well. Place is very nice. You can go for it if you love to spend some time with your loved in a decent, relaxing environment.

I like the BBQ chicken here, juicy n fresh.. Have been here multiple times.. But last Saturday.. They served pre cooked chicken as it was dry n warm.. We asked for replacement n what we got back was not up to the mark or the reason we chose this joint then the famous one next to it . The manager, I think he was. Came with the replacement n when I said chicken is not that hot.. He said " aate aate Dhanda ho jaata hai " . We were parked just in front of the restro. Anyway.. don't loose ur customers due to lazy ness or watevr it was that day. We are there for taste n quality. There are others serving the same thg in the same line .

Novelty is a small but good place to have food..they have both vegetarian and non vegetarian options. The place is easy to locate..near to the traffic signal between 22 and 23, (Jan Marg). The place is not supercostly, but provides very tasty food at a reasonable price. The staff also behaves very nicely with customers.. overall, a nice place to have good food..👍
