Tehal Singh has been around for a really long time. You get such nice fragrance of tandoori meat in front of the kitchen. They have a lot of options to pick from. We ordered their Chilly Chicken and Tehal Singh Special along with Roomali Roti (they were freshly made and not the reheated type). They food was tasty and the portion size was good. It's a worth trying non veg place is Chandigarh.
Though I am a vegetatian but on thw basis of reviews of my two friends, I can say it was a great place for chicken.
Decent rates and average seating.
Lets come to the vegetarian part, the paneer was above average with a sweet taste though.
And service was quick.
Funny part, empty serving dishes were provided on being asked for a katoria fornthe Raita😂.

They know how to cook chicken!
I had never eaten such tasty BBQ chicken. Tikka, kadhai and rada are also extremely tasty.
But the quality of mutton was not good. They had tried their best to cook the gravy, but due to using frozen mutton
Tehal singh dhaba is a small old time hotel located in the sector 22 of Chandigarh next to Rama's toy store. It is famous for its chicken delicacies for the past more than 50 years. Earlier this place offered meals on cash and carry basis or people sitting in their four wheelers were served meals inside their car. Not it has added up a sit in dining area but its ambience is very poor. There is only one person serving the the ordered meals. One should visit this place only if one desires only chicken dishes. Egg and vegetarian food are hopelessly lousy. Overall a good place to enjoy chicken at very reasonable price in Chandigarh.
I tried few items from tehal Singh last week.
1. Tandoori chicken it's very tasty and juicy.
2. Fish fry one of the best in the tricity.
3. Chilly chicken this they can improve not very impressed with this.
Rates are very genuine plus the quantity is very good.
It is a typical dhaba atmosphere wise. But the Food - toooooo good. One of the best non veg eating places in india i would say.
Tehal singh's Dhaba is famous for its chicken. So I went there and believe me it was beyond expectations. Tandoori chicken was so yummm, so drooling even when I think about it. Only the butter chicken was not as per our expectations. Whenever you visit, you must try the tandoori chicken. Chaaps for vegetarian people :)
