Alpine dhaba on the Shimla Anandpur sahib highway is one of the best dhabas for the food's taste, quality and hospitality. The dhaba serves authentic taste food cooked in desi ghee and white butter only.
Their must-try dishes are alpine deluxe thali, daal makhni, makki ki roti sarson ka saag, vegetable Maggi, etc.
Clean nice washrooms and ample parking enables visitors to enjoy the place while driving!
I visit this dhaba on return from Dharamshala. My driver stop the car for lunch so we thoght we can do here also. The atmosphere of dhaba is different you can see in photo. We order Kadi Rice and Roti. Food is tasty. Not spicy so everyone can eat easly either kid or elders. They offer Chhach free of cost. If you like Chhach you can enjoy.

It is situated on the highway side. There is plenty of parking available for vehicles.
This is very spacious dhaba I have ever seen.
They have too many tables divided into 3 different parts with 3 different ambient.
The ambient is very well maintained.
There are many photo points where they have placed scooter, rickshaw, tractor.
The food quality is also better with good taste. They provide buttermilk with a full big size Jar.
In general, it was a positive experience. The food was served with a slight delay, but they had clearly mentioned on their menu card that it would take 15-20 minutes for delivery. Considering the high number of customers, the staff appeared quite occupied. Visitors have the opportunity to capture selfies and photographs with remarkably authentic Punjab-themed mannequins, depicting rural lifestyle. Additionally, they provide complimentary lassi. The pricing is reasonable. I would suggest visiting this place at least once in a lifetime, with a hint of humor.

If you are going from Chandigarh towards Rupnagar then I like this place the best from lunch dinner to tea break and I have stayed here about 10+ times.
Stopped for lunch on our way back from Manali. Excellent Punjabi food.. sarson da saag, malai kofta, paneer tikka masala, missi roti, makki roti, gur wali chaah. Finger licking yummy food, served with a smile, in a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Tasty food which comes with nice quantity.. the lassi glass in picture is the small one so one can imagine how big would be the large one .. the place has got good parking space and it has huge royal (clean) washrooms .. service was moderately quick .. it was a good experience
We had a good time dining here. We ate at 00:30 at night and felt absolutely safe. The place is well lit and has amazing restrooms. There is ample parking space. Try their various dals with parathas and wash it down with complimentary buttermilk or a lassi.
