I visited Sarvana Bhavan as it is one of the known brands across Chennai. I tried rava onion masala dosa and filter coffee both of which were very good in taste and affordable.
Rice with rasam can be added In menu many senior citizens very dependent on rice with rasam
We had ordered Mini Tiffin and Appams on 11th August.
The delivery was on time.
Food was tasty as well.
Accompaniments for both items were also good.
When hungry, nothing can please us like an appetising Indian meal. The meals platter served here is nothing less than a blessing to any Thali lover. One of the best vegetarian meals I ever had.
South Indian food restaurant having around 30 outlets... Too crowded.... Variety of south Indian dosas and south Indian thalis...Affordable meal
Bought Kaaju katli and Seedai... Seedai tasted awesome and it was typically a fresh home made recipie. Cost friendly too.Tasted well and cost effective compared to other shops! Highly recommended when you wish to buy for other people
such a good place for an vegetarian price are little high i had meal on there was an variety rice in it in that pulirice was very good i loved it can increase the quantity some more it would have been better
My favorite place to have South Indian food. It’s very tasty and the service is nice. After 2 years I came back to here, the location was shifted toward main road side.
We had breakfast in Hotel Saravana Bhavan. Ordered mini tiffin which includes idli bada dosai. Loved the taste. Pure south indian food served.
Same old brand maintaining their legacy even after decades.
When I first walk in to this outlet, it looked deserted and I was unsure if it was the authentic one or a something similar to the original brand. But after seeing the menu, I was convinced and confident to order and eat and the dishes didn't disappoint as always.
Could be a better maintained place than making most of the seating area under a shed. Except for the ambience, everything else is awesome.
The only branch where the taste is maintained nowadays. Sambhar and Dosa was a pure feast for us! The place area is reduced now which makes a feel like a cramped environment!
Otherwise for Saravana Bhavan lovers this branch is a must visit place🤩 Green chutney is one of my favourites don’t miss it!
Good taste. Staff is very polite and warm. I felt like I must try every dish here. Tried the palm leaf delicacy that even the locals could not name.
This establishment is located inside a street, so it could be hard to find for newbies. at first, I was sceptical whether this was the real Sarvana Bhavan, but anyways, I gave it a try. Breakfast was delicious with a plethora of side dips. Service was on time. I went there at 7:30am and the restaurant was close to empty.
Everything is good only the issue with Saravana Bhavan hotel is the side dish will contain high amount of salt 🧂.
Which is so disgusting 🤢 if they maintain the salt content means then I can say it was a awesome restaurant with great taste 👅.

Lunch has variety but the taste could be better
It was too crowdy.. We're in a que of 30minyues. Food was okayish.. Service was slow because of lack of manpower.
Awesome place.. very spacious and very good atmosphere.. I decided to have my breakfast here,so I travelled almost 20-25 km, but I was worth everything... Food is best priced and quality is unmatched. I wasn't feeling any bloating and all as you would expect from eating in any restaurant.. This chain is worth visiting..
As we all know that saravana bhawan was always the best option for South Indian food and yes they were amazing, the food was really good. It was delicious the portion size was good and the available chutneys and everything was out of the world
