What did we order?
We ordered Parotta(4 plates), Paaya & Appam.
You need not have to order a special side dish since it comes with the Serva which in itself is real good. I was not satisfied with the content of Paaya as there was just one piece (shown in the pic) & a small piece inside it.
We were surprised when they said it would taste hot sweet and would go well with Aapam/Idiyappam instead of Parotta but I felt otherwise.
Aapam was tasty and served hot. I was thrilled by the shape of it.
Overall, it was a good experience.
This place is good . The food is also good and so tasty. We tryed mutton briyani and mutton chukka and bbq Chicken 🐔. The taste is good but the quantity of the mutton chukka is not worth for rate there is no piece in the chukka. Briyani and all are soo good and tasty 😋... They are also providing the special type of BBQ 🍖 GREEN SAUCE..😋😋🥘🥘🥘🍸🍸🍸🍸🍸......
Good service with smiling face. Foods are very well prepared and hot and frsh also. So all friends are likely to eat all the menu in this traditional anjappar restaurant
Place is large with adequate seating. Having gone there several times, here and to couple of other outlets, I would easily suggest this one being the better. Thali's and accompaniments are well served and the fried fish is good ( slice is a bit thin :p ). Service is good with the staff helpful.
Parking is available but can be a bit of a hassle during weekends.
The first two times we went, experience was good, thali and the seer fish were tasty and the fish fresh. On our third visit, the fish was not all that fresh and some of the accompaniments that came with the thali were not up to the mark. However, I am reviewing them based on my first two visits.
Ambiance is fine and plenty of seating. Staff are friendly. Parking is available though you need to be a bit of an expert in trying to reverse and park in the crowded parking area.

One of the best places to try non veg meals💯 Aromatic spicy gravies with their standard keerai kootu, potato curry and bottle guard kootu❤️
I always order a portion of their Spl gravy which is super spicy🌶and packed with flavours. This gravy mixed with the hot fluffy rice🍚teleports you to heaven😇Such a blissful combination it is and their keerai kootu is my all time
favourite dish.
The Anjappar Spl Chicken Dry is super flavourful with the right amount of spiciness🌶from the pepper sautéed with minced garlic and cashews topped with crispy curry leaves. The best starters to go with your meals.
My sudden craving for this perfect meal got me ordering them to celebrate my weekend😅neatly packed food sufficient for 2-3 good eaters🍴

Place and ambience is good. Price is little high.... taste is ok... service is supper. When we ordered some special karaikudi chicken, we found some crab's skull piece in it you can try buffet/lunch in any other hotel instead of this.

The Chittinad Chiken is delicious, favourite dish. The crab dish is also very tasty. Also tried the gajar halwa which goes very well with the vanilla ice cream.

I was introduced to this place by my sister and ever since then up until the time I lived in Chennai, there was no turning back.
A small quaint place which didn't make much impression on me with its physical presence, it's claim to fame had been its famous Chilly Chicken.
Every region in India has managed to customise Chinese cuisine based on the local flavours. This is no such exception.
You need to try this dish out if you are in the vicinity of this place. Trust me, you can't go wrong!
Great food and ambience . The food is quite spicy and delicious. Chettinad food is its speciality. I visit the place often and never was disappointed.
