We had a good experience here. The hotel's ambience is very normal but the dishes served were tasty. We ordered Mutton aatukal soup, Mutton pepper fry, Fish 65, Pallipalayam Chicken, Kaadai roast, Chilli Chicken and Chicken lollipop. Everything tasted delicious. Mutton Biryani and Egg Kothu Parotta were good. Overall, a good one. I recommend folks out there to try here.

Good things:
Taste of biriyani. Perfect flavours, not oily or spicy.
Service. The waiter was very courteous. When I told him that the pieces served are too less, he offered more pieces without a word.
Taste of gravy is awesome and egg served with little masala is nice.
Things to improve:
As said pieces needs to be served sufficient in the first attempt itself.
Cooking chappathis and some side dishes below stairs prone to dust going to cooking area.
This hotel is famous for its chittand style.I ate chicken biryani and egg biryani which are yum and worth the money.They also server with banana leaves which is very good thing in this hotel.chicken lolly pop is yum to taste.This hotel is worth the money and they have so many branches available everywhere near omr road.
Need an authentic South Indian non veg meals ? Do visit junior kuppanna. For vegetarians like me, we have only some variety and I ordered spl. Curd rice. And it was yummy. Starters Gobi 65 which was also good.

So I've been to this Junior Kuppana nearly 5-6 times which lead me to try out the branch at T.Nagar too.
Ambiance wise the Perungudi branch was way too noisy and too crowded, the restaurant had that weird odor.
Coming to the food, I must say Junior Kuppanna is one of the best places to try South Indian cuisine. The meals they offer is a complete VFM was the gravies that accompany the rice are so rich in flavors. My personal favorite is here are the Mutton Biriyani (I don't like mutton at all but I make an exception for Junior Kuppanna mutton biriyani) and the soft flaky parottas. The mutton biriyani is made from seeranga samba rice that adds in more flavor to the biriyani and the subtle taste of ghee with generous chunks of soft juicy mutton makes one crave for more!
I would always go back to Junior Kuppanna just for their mutton biriyani and flaky parottas!!
Polite staffs who brought orders in matter of minutes and everything was upto the taste standards. Quality it was great tried fish chukka, chicken chukka and mutton briyani. Spices can be just felt in taste buds just the quantity seems to be less for the price
Heard of this place from a friend and went to have lunch. Awesome Mutton Biryani! Felt like having home-cooked meal. Adequate spices. Good aroma. Well cooked meat. 👌

This is a restaurant serving mostly South Indian non-veg food. The vegetarian main course consists of about 4 to 5 items. They serve food the traditional way, i.e. in banana leaf and not in plates. The restaurant is spacious with table service available. They accomodated about 20 of us by rearranging the existing setup of tables. Though the staff were well-behaved, they took a lot of time in bringing to us few items. Restroom was clean and there was space to park few vehicles outside the restaurant.
Taste wise ok..ambiance good.. place should be little clean. It’s located on first floor no lift next to GRT jewellery.

The kothu parota was very tasty and hospitality was good but please better to maintain hand wash and rest room.

Love the Ghee Kerala Parota with Gravy here.. It's soft and goes well with the Coconut Gravy. They have the Pan Ice Cream which is also a must try.
And yeah.. Dinner is served on the traditional Banana Leaves here!!
Decent place, nice ambience. Mutton biryani in seeraga chamba rice is my favorite. It tastes like home made biryani.
Briyani and non veg meals are too good.Needs improvement in maintaining the cleanliness.Dishes are at reasonable price.

Delicious local Indian food. You can get the banana "plates". Eat with your hands. Just really good food.
