Adyar Treat or just - Treat as we know it is a hidden GEM that has been my friends and family's favorite place for more than 20 years now. The quality of their food and the value for money has been the main reason why they are our favorite. Apart from it they have a very friendly atmosphere Mr. Vijay who has been with them for years together makes you feel very comfortable and warm. Some of our favourites here are, paneer bhurji, baby corn masala, cashew masala, stuffed capsicum, paneer tikka masala, aloo paratha, veg biriyani, paneer tikka, spring roll, gobi65 best part about the place is they are ready to customize your food as per your needs. It is a must visit place atleast once which will make you fall in love with them.
Known this place for 20 years and all along they have maintained their quality and taste and value for money pricing. Excellent food and consistent quality. The gobi Manchurian and Paneer do Piaz are some of their best dishes!!
Ambience was good with peaceful environment. I went with my relatives and it was a great experience as we had ample of time to speak . Dishes were okayish and wish the delivery would have been quicker. Overall , the restaurant is a good choice if you want to have your meal in a calm environment.
This restaurant is like a tiny time capsule that takes you back to the 90s! It's situated behind the bus stop near Malar hospital (known as Fortis now, of course), a little hidden away. The ambience is nothing to write home about - some normal tables, a TV in one end and the owner sitting at one end. Add one grouchy looking but actually amiable waiter and it's like you are back in the Sangeetha's of yesteryear!
The food is always pretty good too. We'd ordered the tomato soup, veg sheekh kebab, veg biryani, butter roti and gobi peshawari. The soup was very Knorr reminiscent and I love Knorr soup and hence this too:) The kebab came with a mint chutney that was amazing and this was one of the first times a veg kebab tasted so good on its own! The biryani was good and the peshawari an interesting try - tasted good but nothing to write home about.
We've ordered several times from this place before and the food has always been consistently good. There were also a lot of delivery personnel traffic as we ate, perhaps cementing the fact that this is more of an order-in place. Go if you don't care about the ambience much. Any which though, the food is good and isn't that what really matters?:)
First time tried with this restaurant this is really great. Especially North Indian thali superb👍 thanks for the treat.
Jeera pulao was worst, please have little care next time, rest of the things were good
A must try for vegetarians.
It's value for money. The Paneer Peshawari is one of the best paneer dishes I have had .

Went there today for lunch. Has two outlets side by side. One offers parcel service and as a quick eat where tables are there to eat and get away. The next one is a restaurant with a capacity to cater about 70 persons at least. They serve you North Indian vegetarian at reasonable price. Quality is good.
Good for North Indian Veg foods...!!

Place waas very nice to family happy services staffs the food order delay also normal time
Good Place for both self serving and food being served. Suitable for regular long term eating. No side effect. Pure Veg. Serves Variety rice and meals.
In Serviced area the atmosphere is very nice and the food quality is also very good. The Rate is propotionately increased. They have started serving Juice and chat items also.
We are coming back to this hotel after almost 3 years, just because of the special north indian meals for lunch. We fest the same taste after these many days. No change in quality. Absolutely fine.. recommended
Nice vegetarian restaurant with a mixed menu of South Indian, North Indian cuisine. Prices are considerable given the quality and quantity is for. Worth a try, if you are looking for a decent vegetarian restaurant in Adyar area.

Old place, but clean and simple place. Items are good.
The place is very clean and service people too.
Peaceful to have your food and no noise.
Car parking is difficult at this place. Bike parking is fine.
A good restaurant serving North Indian and South Indian food for Lunch and Dinner. Located very near to Adyar junction near Indian Bank, this is a calm and quiet place. You can choose roti varieties , side dishes, Briyani etc and enjoy with family. Its Pure vegetarian and air-conditioned. Nominal prices.
You get very economical Thali here. South indian Thali at Rs.100, North Indian Thali at Rs. 120 and Special North Indian Thali at Rs.130. Fir the Spl. North Indian Thali you get Soup, One Starter like Chilly Gobi, Two big Parothas, two side dishes, Vegetable Briyani, Raitha, Curd rice, Papad, Kheer and even Ice cream too! Is it not a Steal? That too at Rs.130/-.
But the quality is very good and very tasty. A la carte dishes are also nominally priced and equally good.
Though the hall is medium sized still you may find getting crowded on weekends. But still not much waiting time. Ambience is good and staff are helpful. Cards are accepted.
You can order on Swiggy too for home delivery.
Car parking is on the road only which is not difficult to get.
You can try for its simple but tasty food!
Very tasty and very affordable. The North Indian dishes is a must try. The soup is very thick and tasty. The butter roti is good. The paneer side dishes are mouthwatering. The pulav and curd is ok.
The atmosphere is peaceful. The service is very polite and timely
