i went to krishnavillasam an adyar with my family had krishnavillasam sappadu that is homely food, no colour & ajinamoto good food,
I love their Elaneer payasam, fancy place for quick family get togethers
Good vegetarian choice with lots of options. Never miss their amristeri paneer which is a sandwich made of paneer itself without bread it is super awesome.
Krishnavillasam-Pure bliss for south Indian food styled up in traditional way. I always have been misconception that non veg food has a lot of variety to offer every time I dine in.Veg has only some and predominantly forcing it with paneer and mushroom cooked in chinese and northindian.
Breaking all this came Krishnavillasam,setting it right for veg south indian flavour. A posh set up and beautiful ambience.
We ordered tiranga paneer,karuvepallai corn based dish and gobi 65 for starters. This karuvepallai dish stood out the best. You can indluge in karuvepallai essence.
We wanted to try their special veg thalli but we weren't lucky to try it.Instead we got their bread basket with all varieties of bread and paneer subji. Different style of veg biriyani also tasted amazing.
Ended with delicate,fresh elaneer payasam.Who doesn't love to end it this way? Pricing is reasonable.For the spread and dining experience its really worth it.

Krishnavillasam is the place for having different varieties of vegetarian foods like South Indian foods, North Indian foods and Chinese foods in Adyar, Chennai. South Indian food taste very delicious compared with other food recipes and the price is too high.

we visited this outlet today. it's an authentic place to have food. Best part is service.. Need to increase the AC temperature and avoid spraying room spray during service..

Awesome option for vegetarians. Good variety of native as well as contemporary food types. Hospitable staff and well trained chefs. Placed in central locality and easily accessible. Well run and socially contributing restaurant. Been there, eayen there!
Food is very good and they take lot of time to Serve some of the items in the menu where not available. North Indian food was bit average and South Indian was good. Wheat Alwa is a must try desert. And they provide butter milk in a mug so beware.
Here gold dosa is famous in Chennai.where as I got to know that it is only available in dasara.where as I ordered garlic naan and panner curry.garlic naan tasted good but little hard.everything seems to be little expensive but some tastes too good.But the salat isnt that worthy...
Good Food with delicious taste and very good ambience and expensive to your pocket. However table service not so much impressive.They are not attending guests requirement and surprisingly it was not crowded.
The quality of food and ambience is awesome. But the service was very slow. Might be due to weekend crowd. But they can try to have more staff during weekend
KrishnaVillasam, one of the best restaurant in Chennai. We Dine-In here late night with our friend and found this place so good & taste wise they serve amazing food. Their authentic taste of Southindian and Northindia makes me feel so happy. After visiting here, I can say in Southern part of India one can have a taste of Northindian dishes.

Great vegetarian food. Food quality oscillates between ethereal to the mundane.
Service levels continues to plateau at disappointing, no surprises there. At the current rate, may not see 2019, sadly. It has the potential to be in the top 50 restaurants in Chennai.
An authentic South Indian restaurant. The service is good. The food is tasty and healthy. The unlimited meal is at a good price.

Meals - a great choice without much damage to pocket.. 😉 Taste of main meal is too good but not supported by a tasty side dish.. Coconut powder is disappointing.. Dont expect a dal powder here.. 😛 The service part is the one which has to be mentioned.. It has limited man power to take care of us.. One should decide the needs earlier or else should forget it😉😉 We waited for more than 10 mins even for bill...
Have been there without any expectations and delighted after tasting their meal.
Food was really tasty although felt the price was bit higher.
I would say it will be a go-to restaurant for once in a while.
