Not a big fan of vegetarian food, but even I enjoyed going here! High quality rich food. Nominally priced. Always a good option for quick, good food. Was sad to see them close down from their current spot.
Good food.. !! Love the parathas! Great stuffing. Worth the money. Pocket friendly. Hygienic. And even the meals is great to go for.. !
The food quality of this restaurant is quite good. And the paratas are yummy. They should may be try to up the restaurant a bit , with working AC in place. Otherwise you can always order a take away to enjoy the sumptuous meal prepared here.
Good hot parathas. The tomato soup served was not up to the mark. I would say it is a little over priced as it did not taste so extravagant.

Been there many times. All their parathas are good and their side dishes also. Recently they start serving soups also. Their rice verities are decent. some times I think the price are bit high but that never stops me going there.
I have visited Naivedya more than 10 times. The food is really nice and tasty. The dishes taste like home food. However, the service is not up to the mark. I would like to see some smiling faces serving food.
The chats here are amazing. ...
Filling... One dish sufficient for 2...
Come here empty stomach if u really wanna enjoy the dishes :-)
Definitely a good place with right budget
Good food here, you get authentic bites like paranthas, chaat and sweets. It hasn't been doing too well of late though. It's slightly pricey for the general get up, but I would pay this much for the quality of the food. Not great ambience, just about ok. Service is fine. Go there if you're close by!
I am very happy to see Naivedya finally on Zomato. Been a regular visitor to their tiny outlet since the last 12 years or so. It used to be our go to destination when I was short of money and also to have simple home style North Indian food. Surprisingly the owner is a true blue Madrasi with support staff completely from the north except one who has been with them for ages now.
Not much to say about the ambience. It is a very simple looking eatery with plastic chairs and tables but definitely very clean. There is a possibility that you might miss it if you don't watch your steps or drive past too quickly on CP Ramaswamy road. But once you enter, you notice a smiling owner at the counter who welcomes you and who will remember your every visit.
They began by making regular sweets and savouries with really good chaats on offer. They expanded to offering different kinds of parathas, curries, dals and then sumptuous thalis. I have tasted many of their offerings including dahi poori, aloo chaat, bhel puri, kachoris, cutlets and their famous pav bhaji. The dahi poori is easily one of the simplest and finest I have had in the city. Great quality yoghurt poured on fried pooris with a medley of chutneys, sev and coriander to top it up.
The aloo chaat is a similar medley, completely clutter free with simple ingredients. The kachoris were great tasting too and their cutlets, completely Indianised with beetroots standing out. The bhel poori is quite good too. The pav bhaji is easily one of their best offerings with great tasting bhaji with oodles of butter. No artificial flavouring and homely.
Their parathas are amazing too which used to cost 25 bucks for a plate of two about 12 years ago. Times have changed not to say I am growing old too. Now they offer them with two sides including some curries, raitha and pickles. My personal favourites are aloo and gobhi.
Some of their curries are excellent too including the home style aloo gobhi, dals, dum aloo, pindi chole and few other curries of the day. The curries are offered in two different sized boxes based on costings. The desserts including one of the finest lassi, badam and rose milk can be had fresh at their outlet. The milk and yoghurt are extremely thick and fattening but it is ok to indulge on your cheat day because that is what you pay for. The basundi and rasmalai are great too.
Overall, fantastic homely food in the comforts of a restaurant. I really wish they market themselves because many still don't know if they exist except perhaps the old timers and the ones who live close by. Getting back on Zomato is an important milestone for them and I hope they keep up the momentum. Reminds me of Rahul Dravid, consistent sans flashy strokes. I feel Naivedya is similar but yet I desire them to get themselves known more. Must visit for everyone who miss home and also for those who seek good food at an affordable price.
