Tried their meals few times as it was near to my office. It is worth the money. Here you can find best northindian meals near Guindy area. Dal sabji roti chicken everything was really good. Very few restaurants can offer the same taste in chennai.
Just finished my dinner, and fantastic food good quantity. With my Thali i got 3 chapati very nicely cooked and come in hot as well. dry potato loved it qty was less but delicious. other sabji was aalo and nutrela fantastic flavor, but at the end dal and rice is too good to end my meal. also ordered sweet lassi but too sweet as per my taste otherwise overall good dinner. This restaurant will always remain in my reorder list.
Best hotel for best dishes at best price. The ambience can be little disappointing since the place is very small and at a time only 10-15 people can be accommodated. But it is worth the wait. I have tried all the veggie side dishes and the rotis. I would recommend this to every foodie who wants to eat more with less money.
If you are from north india and missing your home made food, try this restaurant u will enjoy, also they deliver to you site.
350 for 2 people is approx they charge for atleats 2 dishes and roti rice also
It is an awesome restaurant to have an awesome lunch or a dinner. The service is quick and cleanliness is good. And mainly the quality of food served is amazing and that too at reasonable prices! It is a must go restaurant for North Indian people!!
Food quality 10/10
Cleanliness 10/10
Service 10/10
Awesome place foe quality and affordable, cheap north Indian foods. I have been here a lot of times and I have tasted roti, butter roti, bhindi fry, dal fry, aloo jeera, kadai vegetable, paneer butter masala, and channa masala.
All of them were awesome. The gravy is good in quantity and you can eat more for less bucks.
Worth place trying and if you are near Guindy, I suggest try this place atleast once and you will definitely love it.
Very tasty dishes and quick service. Prices are also reasonable. Can try and add chat varieties so that customers get more options. Should start having combo dishes.
After hearing a lot of good stories about dal Roti decided to try out . Came here with a lot of expectations with couple of my friends and trust me it lived up to the expectations.. Quick serving and awesome tasting items are two best aspects of the hotel. We had 15 phulkas, one paneer butter masala , a egg burji masala and two Lassis totalling to just 350. Everything was just heavenly. Must try.. :-)
Relatively small and budget restaurant - I believe it wont kill your purse; not too much of heri-pheri kind of hotel; simple and neat. Want to explore north Indian dishes, go and try out. Rotis' are damn good and other dishes like takha, bhugia were good in taste. Lassi (as expected) was outstanding...
I've been having food for a while in this locality and I should say this is comparatively good; both quality wise and cost wise. Only less seating spaces available. During busy hours, people may end up waiting outside.
Nothing specific to say as their signature dish. Since it's a North Indian kinda restaurant, they have a varieties of roti and curries like Palak Panneer/Chicken. Chicken pieces used in curry were almost vert bony.
I personally felt roti's are too small. May be a 2-3cm extra radius would be decent. However, happy with the kind of food I had. Present in roadside. Easily accessible.
