An economical & homely place for travelers from southern districts, easy access to Central and Egmore is a plus. They have an in house restaurant which is famous for their non vegetarian dishes. People from different part of the city visit here for the tasty food.
If the interior and ambiance improved then this will be great joint for traditional non vegetarian foods.

One of my friend who is running office in parrys introduced in this hotel, one fine afternoon we went there, before reaching the hotel he told me lots of stories about the hotel and explained the taste of food.
We ordered meals with few side dishes like fish fry and chicken items, the Rices served with hot and the curries, fish curries ( kulambu in Tamil) Chicken or mutton curry, Rasam, Curd, Veg side dishes are super taste like a home made foods.
Yes what my friend explained and what my expectations were met there.
Really I felt that the meals eating the preparation of my moms that kind of homely food I had that day.
Still I am trying to take my family, but thinking of the narrow road traffic etc..
Don't think about the atmosphere, feel about the taste. All non veg eaters must visit once this place to experience the awesome taste..
Biriyani in which you may never find the masala rolled into the rice. Still smells great and worth trying. But other side dishes are costly and wat too less quantity is served. Restrooms are pathetic. Don't spoil your biriyani mood by entering here. Try king fish and prawn fry here.
I'm one of their regulars for their tasty basmati rice Briyani..taste is well Maintained over the years and service has been bad always.
Visit here for tasty food, pricing is slightly on the higher side.
Low cost chettinadu style restaurant. Spicy South tamilnadu meals are available. Though the street in which it is located is very narrow , it has a spacious car park. Go here for taste at low cost , not for ambience or service.
This place was introduced to me by colleague. He was very senior to me. He was like a father to me. He loved this place very much. Whenever we have work in head office (TNEB office,Mount road), we definitely have lunch there. He like the place because of its cleanliness. I like seer fry very much. Kola urundai, crab fry are good here. Every time, we order nalli mutton. It was our favourite. Muttin biryani also good.
But about 8 years before, he died due to low bp. After that i never went there. Whenever i think of this hotel, he comes in my mind. Great memories.

South styled kitchen in core City area periamedu famed for their overall taste in non vegetarian choice of menu, always crowd packed so there will be little delay in orders but it's worth it to savor home styled taste .... Almost all the dishes are perfect especially their nalli Kari and prawns .... Except the fact that it's in the narrow street but they make it up with good parking so turn around is not an issue .... I'd recommend this if you want full stomach, yummy ЁЯСН
Traditional non-veg hotel. Classical type. Good for mutton and fish items. Not very hygienic but taste compensate for that.
Hotel Kurinchi restaurant is simply awesome... Try this place for Non veg meals...Fish fry ...Nalli Mutton fry ...And their Biryani taste good with Kuruma.
