I don't know what happened. Earlier the taste of all items were top notch. When I recently visited the food provided was half boil. Don't have choices for gravies. For full meals only mutton gravy and fish gravy are provided and only that has been repeated.
Famous place in palavakkam.

Ordered dosa, biryani, naattu kozhi chicken, mutton liver fry, vanjaram fish fry
Dosa was super crispy and good
Biryani was blunt. Not so spicy.
Vanjaram was medium spicy
Mutton liver fry and naattu kozhi chicken tastes good.
Ambience is good. Service was good.
Have enough space for parking.
Definitely a family place.
Price is slightly on the higher side.

I m big fan of Seena Vaana hotel. When I was bachelor and working in Chennai all weekend lunch is from seena vaana. I m addicted to their non-veg meals and chicken fry, vanchram fry.I used to hav their food for 6 to 7 years on all weekends(may be more than that).Now I have to move out of Chennai. I m badly missing their food. But still whenever I go to chennai my first option is Seena Vaana. I feel it somewhat budget friendly for their taste.Their sidedish display itself mouth watering.I never had food health issues on having food from this restaurant.
Seena Vaana is Authentic Chettinad Cuisine restaurant, We tried most of the Non Veg Items, Specially Mutton Masala & Brain Fry was awesome.. Good tasty food and Good Qualtiy.. On time delivered given by Renganathan

Their non veg meals are delicious. Any one who hates cooking on a Sunday can go on a long drive and food here. The fish 65 is out of the world. Its a very small restaurant but the food is amazing.
Amazing non veg items. Tried mutton sukka, chicken 65, kalakki parotta, chicken fry... good quality and value for money as well.
