I have tried bread baji. This shop is always busy with their kachori, vadapav and bread Baji. Costs 30Rs. No seating. Have to stand and enjoy bread Baji.
Best way to enjoy rains could be ftesh hot vada pavs with green chillis.
Living in sowcarpet since childhood, this mithaiwala was my favourite for vada pavs. I used to have vada pavs just for Rs.5/- during my childhood. Now it is Rs.25/- and affordable. It has the same taste since then and is my favourite even now. They also serve famous bread bajji, kachoris and samosas but vada pav stands my favourite
This shop reminds me of days i used to have it with my friends and play pranks with them.
😝hiding plenty of chillis in between the vada and pav, and feeding my friend with love😝 try this with other friends and have fun.

They're very much known for their Vada pav. One of the most famous in Sowcarpet - a tiny shop but serves a must eat and most yummiest Vadapavs!
Went here exclusively to try their Vada Pavs, Dhoklas and Kachoris and we weren't disappointed. Their Vada Pav wins hands down. That doesn't mean that the other two tasted bad either. Vada Pav was so hot and it took a while for us to finish it. Taste was complemented well with the red chutney coated on the inside of the Pav. Kachoris were good and worked well with the sweet chutney and chilli.
Their Dhoklas in the mithaiwala branch were served with ample amount of mint chutney. However the chutney was quite bland. 4 big pieces of Dhokla for 30 Rs was Very much VFM. No complaints with the taste of Dhoklas.
One each of Vada Pav, Dhokla and Kachori costed us 100 bucks which is very much cheaper than other chat joints on the mint street. At the end of the day, it was a full stomach and a happy heart!
It's been eight years since I have shifted to Chennai from Mumbai and since then I was wondering if I could get my favorite chat in the streets of Mumbai the VADA PAV!!! Been to goli VADA pav and various other places but none of them were even close to what I had in Mumbai.. But the moment I took the first bite out of that mouthwatering VADA PAV I felt as if was having a VADA pav in Mumbai... After a long while... Enjoyed a great dish...
Went here around 7pm,was quite crowded.First I had samosa, which was average and then ordered vada pav. This is where I had my first taste of vada pav. The bun was fresh and soft, which is lined with awesome chutney, with a crispy vada embedded into it. It costed ₹20. It's one of the must trys here and it's an absolute vfm place
The best vadapav i had in chennai so far. The hot vadapavs along with the chutney was the perfect combo needed to light up the day. Definitely worth a try for vadapav lovers.
As a part of the foodwalk that happened recently, checked out this place for vada pav. Was crowded and managed to get a vada pav. Priced at 20 bucks, the vada was hot and spicy and easily one of the best vada pav I've had so far. The red chutney smeared inside the pav along with the heat from the crispy vada was an awesome combination.
Loved the vada Pav here. Probably the best vada Pav joint in Chennai. They have bread bhajjis, kachoris n others too. Tried em out. They were decent. Highlight was the vada Pav though. Definitely would be back for some vada pavs.
