This is the best restaurant in Chennai. I have visited a lot of them and this is the best. The food was amazing , the starter , the pizza's, the main course, the dessert. It was delicious and very well presented. The staff was amazing. Every one was very nice and very well informed. The owner of the restaurant was so polite and nice. He spent a lot of time on our table, telling us about the specials, and everything. He was really sweet. The food is totally worth it and I can definitely give 10 stars to this restaurant.
Used to be called as Pirates, then HIX and later Marmalong.. So, there has been change in the management but the owners are the same.
The restaurant was under renovation and the person in charge they told us, even the menu has a make over but somehow found the previous name Hix in the menu.
Located in the main road, accessibility is easy. The food was good. Pizza is definitely to try on.
Apparently they also have an amalgamation of all the drinks together called Jallikattu, which we did not try anyways. But we assume it is supposedly their specialty.
The serving executives could've been more interested as the person in charge. But nevertheless, you could visit for the food and of course the drinks!
Beautiful place often overlooked when you're driving to Bessy. You can't miss it, but somehow I've never entered for some reason. This place has recently had a change in management and was called The HIX bar up until about a month ago. Now the entire menu has been revamped and you can sample some quirky fusion fare of you're feeling experimental. The portion size is really good. The speciality pizzas are a must try and all all the starters we'd tried were beautiful. But the main courses were slightly bland for my taste. Service is brilliant the manager and the head waiter took excellent care of us, they were extremely friendly and accommodating considering we'd gone there as a large group of about 8 people.

Love the variety in the menu. The food is amazing and their service is great. Love the ambiance of the place. They have the best fusion food, not one dish has disappointed me.

The ambiance is brilliant. Their mushroom soup was amazing. They have Spanish dessert called 'Churra" is good.
