Good place for a quick hangout. It may be difficult to accommodate if you visit as a group of more than 4 as the seating capacity is low. Reasonable prices and easily locatable. Waiting to try out the pizzas they serve there ;-) They seem to have listed quite a few variety more than the regular ones.

A good place for a quick bite if live around the place. Nice tasty burgers, gobi manchurians, pastas, noodles and fried rice are the main highlights. Nowadays you can even get south indian food for dinner (Haven't tried it out yet, though).
Rajan Bakery has renovated and the ambiance looks appealing now.They have only 3 tables with 4 chairs each which makes it a bit of a bother if they're crowded which is the case most evenings. They have pastries, savories, sweets and even a small chat corner. They also cater tiffin items.
I went in to try their famous Gobi Manchurian. As it was made fresh I tried to kill time by ordering their variety puffs. They have Paneer,mushroom, egg puffs which are really good. The Gobi manchurian was served in 10mins,piping hot and bit oily to my taste.But it tasted so delicious that I forgot all about the oil and deep dived into the dish. I polished off with some jalebis which didn't actually impress me much.
On the whole a good place for evening munching.

Best bakery shop in KODAMBAKKAM. Their BHEL Puri taste is excellent.
My all time favt place. Love the Indian style macaroni they have. There snacks are also very fresh and yummy. Prices are also nominal. Have parking. Beyond macaroni they also prepare fresh evening foods and chat items. Heaven for college students near kodambakkam, Chennai.
Good place and good people .... Regular customer from my childhood......................... I do remember the days they do the fried rice in the entrance of the the shop their fried rice goes well with their gobi manchurian.....
After renovation they missed their open kitchen in the entrance......if someone reads this do convey this to them to redo their old setup.....really a good place to have a good snack on the go ...
Very good place for all our bakery items. Always fresh and tasty. Packing and maintenance good. Their own baking bread and cakes available. Samosa cutlet and veg roll available daily.
Samosa was quite good. Channa Masala was average. Overall, a popular place in the neighborhood but nothing extraordinary.
Items to try: Chaat items (like channa masala), Macaroni (Indian style), Fried Rice - Gobi Manchurian, Samosa Chole, Macaroni, bread.

It's an ok place to go with kids.
Apart from regular bakery menu they also serve chat items, and Chinese veg dishes like fried rice, Gobi Manchurian etc in the evening. But I would vote for there evening south Indian snacks like Aalu Bonda, Urud Dal Vada👌👍 (Medhu Vada or ulundu vada) and bajji varieties)
Have been witnessing the growth and changes ever since its inception almost 20 years back. And it is one of the best budget bakeries I know. Try their Chinese fast food post 6pm.
People in Kodambakkam don't miss eating your favourite chat items in Rajan bakery. It's been there for more than 20yrs. Yummy somosaz sandwich ..
