It is awesome restaurant with the quality of food and taste which cannot be matched even with other pure vegetarian hotel which run hotel for business rather than taste  !!! Must visit !!! Must taste Ghee Roast !! which is mouth watering !!

Vasanth Vihar was always my spot for having lunch while going to mount road from my college area (Kattankulathur). I had to change the bus at Tambaram to go to mount road. So, before boarding the next bus, I always preferred to had lunch at Vasantha Vihar. I used to order for Thali which is comprised of lot of items apart from mundane poriyel, sambhar, rasam and tair. I enjoyed dhosa and idly as well at Vasantha. The quality of their food was simply the best! Ambiance is ok ok. So, anytime you visit Tambaram mark this place as your Lunch spot. I am sure you will enjoy it!
