This is my first visit to this branch. This place has a compact seating with a capacity of 40-60 people. We ordered chicken biryani, mutton biryani and non veg meals. For starters we ordered prawns and chicken 65. Here as well I felt the staff were standing right near our table and staring at us.. not just 1 but 3-4. Again I felt a bit uncomfortable to eat but had to eat because of hunger. The chicken in the biryani was not cooked much and it was like rubber but the meals were very good. They don't have many options for desserts as well.
Lunch was arranged here for a mini family function today. Tasted mutton Biriyani, Fish and Mutton Thali meals, Phulkas with Nattu Kozhi gravy. Mutton Biriyani was so bland and don't get any taste or spiciness. On the other hand, Fish and Mutton Thali meals were so good, they provided fish 65 along with Omelette and Mutton gravy along with Omlette in addition to the meals. White rice along with the provided gravies and rasam was fantastic and we enjoyed the meals. As well as noodles and fried rice were good it seems. Coming to the service, it was fine and courteous though not so prompt, as it was a busy Sunday afternoon. We don't have any other restaurants seats available in Besant Nagar, so we eventually came here. We loved the Besant Nagar road view from our seats. As well as they have lift service available, as their restaurant is on the first floor. They provide Valet parking 🅿️ so if you come by car, you dont need to worry about parking.
Had mutton meals and chicken soup.. The taste is good, atmosphere is fine..
Nice non veg food. The curries have become measured to keep price tag. But variety to try individual dishes are plenty for the happy foodie
We ordered from this place again after many years, to our pleasant surprise food tasted excellent and thanked them from heart. It was chicken 65,finger fish,prawn dish all were good. Definitely briyani can be better and they can include meen kuzhambu in menu. If they focus on authentic Chettinad dishes with traditional flavours they will be goto place in adyar,they're traditional flavours are excellent!!!!! Thank you for good food.
Adayar Branch : first floor with lift but not so spacious floor & blunt ambiance. Valet parking available parking on your own is a hunt for parking space and time consuming.
Food is real tasty and of good quality. Southerners love it.
