Please don't go by the rating. Ambience may not be upto mark, but the food served is really good here. Specially the nonveg item.friendly staff and good food .

Good food for decent pricing.
Ambience and cleanliness can be better though.
Have had wheat tandoori roti/Lacha paratha and paneer sides many times here. Always tastes good.
Heard it’s good and value for money for non-veg lovers. Try it yourself. I can’t..!!

Went for our team lunch over here..
We ordered plain briyani , Tandoori chicken , Mutton chukka masala.. Food was good in taste.
You can get a part of authentic taste of chettinad food cuisine..
Ambience is good.
It takes 5 mins from velachery railway station and thuraipakkam to reach here.

Price is cheap compared to other hotels. Quantity will be better and quality will be good. We always opt for madurai devar when our budget is low. Dont forget to try its Naatukozhi fry and tandoori chicken.

Had egg kal Dosai and normal Dosai was good.
The sambar and 2 varieties of chutney are tasty.
Had the egg kothu parota which is juicy and good.
The chicken kari Dosa is so big and can't be finished by a single person and very good.
Chicken fried rice is also good.
Ambience is very good with proper seating and lighting.
Service is very good.
Bit costly. Other than that it's worth going.

The ambience felt like it's a second class restaurant

However we ordered

Nattu kozhi soup - 2/5
Chicken biriyani - 3/5
Non veg meals - 4.5/5
Nethili fry - 3/5
Half boiled egg
Egg podimas

Overall the food is decent. Non veg meals was a stand out here. All gravies tasted good. Recommended.

I made numerous visit to this restaurant over the last 4 years but I could see this restaurant doesn't attract crowd like much before still this restaurant serving very good meal at affordable price. Briyani, meals, sea foods are real treat here, we get non vegetarian meal at very cheap price. this resturant has ample parking space and parking is never a problem as its located in wide road main road.

Authentic Madurai taste. Briyani and meals are good. Price is reasonable. A restaurant you can visit with family. Both lunch and dinner is available. Mutton briyani is priced at Rs.175 and non veg meals is Rs.100. You get mutton, chicken and fish gravy without pieces.

If you would like to have a taste of Madurai food then this is one of the places in Chennai. Kari dosi served here is one of the highlights in the hotel and most of the dishes are unique in taste and good.
