Ordered Coconut rice, pulao, vegetable Biryani and sambar rice. All the food items tasted good with good packaging but quantity is less and even pricy too.

I have tried all the food items here and trust me you can blindly trust and order the food. The food from here is fresh, pocket friendly and light on your stomach and doesn't affect your health even if you're eating on a regular basis. It's one of the few places I ordered regularly when I stayed in hostel and needs a alternative for hostel food. Best dishes are Ghee roast, sambar idli and special dosa. Thier meals varieties are also good, tasty and economical. Overall " Value for money " kind of place.

Udipi Shankar Bhavan a typical veg restaurant and this is not new here and people who live in Aminijikarai will definitely know about this place and visit regularly here. Famous for breakfast and snacks at the evening and this is a delivery review and the delivery was very very late which made me reduce the stars here for this place.

Had ordered Puri masala ,special masala Dosa and Medhu Vada and all were neatly packed and the Puri was very tasty and definitely worth it and the masala dosa was very good fit for a single person and the chtuney given for dosa and Puri was different and tasty.The Vada was soft and crispy. Everything ordered was perfect and good. Only dispatching the order to the delivery executive is late and I waited more than a hour for this.

Overall a decent place and could trust here for breakfast,lunch and other options and evening snacks is really good and this place made me disappointed due to the delivery issues which made me reduce the stars.Four stars from my side.

Chennai Budget Foodie

This is definitely not a new restaurant as specified we have been a regular visitor for breakfast. They have the perfect sambar and vada. The idly sometimes tastes mildly on the rubbery side but its very occasional. Otherwise they deserve a 5 star for their idly sambar vada combination. Sadly I haven't tried the other dishes here.

Very good south Indian food and also very reasonably priced. Had idli and parotta both were excellent especially their sambhar, it was the best sambhar I have ever had.
