A really good place, if u r a bachelor and looking to finish your sunday dinner economically and not at the flat which you share with 4 other filth you call friends.
A bad suggestion to have date night unless you want to look cheap and not serious. A very okeyish place for family to have dinner bt i would not suggest it.
Their Khoya panneer and malai kofta are something to kill for but their Naan could be more soft. My Chicken afghani was overdone and i never like having dry meat. The french fries are crap but that is because i have standards and i don't like them too crispy but the kebabs are surprisingly good.
I would say the place is one of the most economical ones i have been to so i would say it is worth a try.!!
I was very frequent visitor but not now . Very decent place located near to chinthamani. Ambience look good . Ac has got nice chill effect. Garlic chicken tikka an awesome taste with little spicy one. You know we should choose food correctly as everything will be sweet one . Staff attitude are excellent. But which I felt too bad is their service taken more time .
The best dhaba for a treat! Money amd taste match so well! Andhra chilli fish, dragon chicken, Tandoori and mango lazzi are must try. Their unlimited break fast is also scrumptuous.

The place seemed a bit lifeless to me. So I was skeptical about the food.
But boy was I surprised
Not even a single dish was a let down.
I highly recommend the butter chicken : which had me drooling. It was sweet and rich as any good butter chicken should be
The chicken tikka : so juicy and the marinade used had the perfect blend of all the right spices.
The malai tikka : was quite rich and it had a melt in the mouth feel.
The butter naans : were glossy and had the perfect flakiness and crisp to it .
We ordered 7 dishes and the bill was around 800rs..so it's quite economical.
To sum it up it's a little dhaba perfect to satisfy those curry cravings .
It's worth trying veg fried rice here .. The best I have ever had .The rates are also reasonable and as usual the trade mark Punjabi lassi is nice.
After a tiring weekend and a hectic Monday morning, I decided to order lunch and my friend suggest dhabba on wheels. Called them at 1ish and placed my order, within 30 minutes the food arrived. I was impressed.. I had ordered for chilli fish, egg biryani, butter chicken, aloo paratha, 2 wheat rotis and 5 buyer naans.. And the bill came up to 615 rupees!! Which is awesome!! I'm definitely gonna be prepping more from this place. Coming to food, the chilli fish was really good not too spicy not too bland.. The butter chicken was yummy. The breads were all hot and soft. 4/5 for the food..

Never been to the restaurant . But I have ordered food from here a couple of times.
And I am never disappointed.
I ordered :
1. Malai Kofta : touchwood , the best malai kofta in chennai . You wouldn't regret having this . MUST TRY , I have ordered malai kofta in a lot of restaurants but I have never been satisfied cause it will be just one huge kofta which makes it difficult to eat. And they make it way too sweet . But thanks to dhabba on wheels for making the perfect malai kofta , there are loads of koftas and the gravy is so delicious , and not way too sweet ! The best malai kofta in chennai . No doubt on that . The extra 0.5 rating only and only for the best malai kofta they have .
2. Gobi Manchurian : I don't know why but for some reason , it's actually one of the most delicious gobi Manchurian I have had . And If you are veggie , then bang on , no doubt you should have it .
3. Chilly paneer : it was delicious , no doubt on the taste.but the paneer was little hard . But cause of the taste i ignored the fact that paneer was hard .
4. Veg Spring roll : not satisfied with the spring roll much ,the filling was very very less and disappointing it is .
Overall , I would like to say this restaurant has nothing very unique coming to the food , they have the normal food , but what makes them different is they make these simple dishes extremely delicious and I feel the price is cheap compared to other restaurants . What more can you expect of !

My usual hang out near my home. Most economical and the best North Indian food is served here. I used to go with my wife and daughter. I personally love their Grill Chicken. Wife likes Tandoori Roti and Dal Makhni and my little girl love Chicken Fried Rice.
Ambience is good but can get the cooking smell at times in the restaurant. They have ample parking space in the front of the restaurant.
Food:
1. Grill Chicken : My favorite dish here. Perfectly cooked juicy and tasty chicken made in Indian style masala not the Arabic version. Comes long with salad, papad and Onion. Onion is embedded in vinegar and is delicious. Real tasty dish. I recommend this to try.
2. Tandoori Roti / Dal Makhni : Their roti is nice and soft. Best with Dal Makhni. Dal Makhni is top notch. Thick and super tasty dish. Loved it!
3. Chicken Fried Rice : The fried rice is awesome. Love the taste and aroma. Not that spicy too even my kid likes it :)
4. Mango Lassi : So yummy! Thick,juicy and chilled Mango Lassi. Super delicious and I strongly recommend you to try it.
Previously they had sweets but stopped it now. Missing their Chum Chum and Kala Jamuns.. Cheers!

I started visiting this place about a year and a half back after coming across it on Zomato. After our first visit,we started visiting almost every weekend. Very good food at very reasonable prices!
It looks like how a typical dhaba looks. The kitchen is right outside the restaurant and can be seen at the entrance. You enter the restaurant and it is dark,with wooden tables all around and a small refrigerator having the lassi,the soft drinks and so on. You can definitely see a few cockroaches running around here and there,but that didn't bother us. Why would it when you get a full grill chicken at the price of 199? I'd close my eyes and take that any day of my life! And it delivered every time in taste too! Unfortunately,in the new menu,half grill chicken costs 139. And there is no full. Darn! The Chicken Tikka,the Andhra Chicken 65 are pretty good as well. Amongst the gravies,personal favorite's are the butter chicken and the chicken Punjabi. So are the rest anyway. Not sure about the fish as I don't eat seafood.
Amongst the vegetarian,most of the vegetarian starters are what you would expect normally. The Chilli Potato is one I've had a few times. Most of the Paneer side dishes have a similar taste to it here. Was disappointed with the Malai Kofta though. Didn't taste good. Nothing specific to say about the breads. Ordered the Biriyani once and it was disastrous. Could not ear more than a spoon. Don't forget to finish off with the Lassi.
Overall,they have some standout dishes. And some dishes to improve upon. But they do have bad days now and then. The pricing makes the whole experience value for money. Being from Annanagar,will definitely keep visiting now and then.

After a Mantoux test reporting at Anna Nagar for my US Visa, decided to have lunch with a friend. Selected this Dhabba thru Zomato, Also it helped to locate the place accurately.
Dhabba has decent seating capacity, it can accommodate around 25 PAX. Decent ambiance with wooden chairs, tables & bamboo spoon stand. Kitchen located adjacent to the entrance. Walls of Dining area could be maintained more cleaner.
We ordered Tandoori Roti(2), Amritsari Kulcha, Chicken Punjabi & Lassi. Papad was served before the food was served. Food was delivered in 10 minutes, Chicken Punjabi was decent with 4 decent meat. Amritsari Kulcha was gud but a bit of butter was more. Tandoori roti was tasted ok but little hard. Lassi was awesome, definitely the best dish served. We loved it.
It costs only a little above 300. Prices mentioned in Zomato is outdated & update is required. There is a pricing increase for some of the dishes.
Overall, a very decent Dhabba who serves nice north Indian food & pocket friendly too. Definitely a must visit place for Lassi lovers.
