Google map is not showing the actual location. Finding parking around the restaurant is difficult but they helped us in parking front of the restaurant. Dinning area is comparatively small. Tried Goli soda which was different. I have tried the restaurant at Pondicherry. Compared to that taste is here little different which was a set back for me. Rest all is good. Food is on spicer side specifically the biriyani. Cautious staff and quick service.
I am highly suggesting this restaurant for a must try in Kodambakkam. Though i come on a regular basis. Ambience, food, service , cleanliness has been top class.

This is a little cramped space and cannot accommodate a large family or friends gathering. However, we were accommodated by putting tables together. For Ambience, I will give it three stars and for food probably 4star. There were no tandoori items. The big mixed platter was around 500 and was okay. Perattal(chicked and mutton) rice is too good. Paratto was okay. Biryani is not from basmati rice but seeraga samba.
In recent past I visiting regularly to the kamatchi hotel. Non veg mutton meals is awesome. Mutton Chuka , fish fry , ellanir paysam must try food. Highly recommended
Happen to hit this place with my friend. He was one who said that this is one of the famous place in Pondicherry and convinced me over to try here.
We had a Mutton biriyani combo ( which had half biriyani + a parotta + chicken gravy of 3 to 4 pieces ) and mutton biriyani with Chicken chukka. Really worth hitting this place .
Good restaurant with good vibes...limited customers with good quality service...nice ambiance with music...best dish is " Chicken Kamatchi " you will feel the authentic southindian flavors in it Yummy 😋.. other than that you can go for combos ..we tried " Super Mutton Combo " worth paying 365 rs which includes good portion of Mutton Peratal rice, Egg Briyani, White Rice with 5 pcs of fired chicken 🐔 , Gravy , rasam and raita...you can fill ur appetite with this...overall a very good restaurant with gud atmosphere and good service..family and friends can certainly go there..

Food is good. Briyani is filled with masala but ok. When we visited last time the fish platter was not there. Portion is small. Lots of dishes are off the menu now
One of the best restaurant to enjoy typical South Indian food from biryani to curry items and they have listed best combos .
Authentic taste and the rasam is the ultimate.
Moderate pricing and perfect menu make every one to enjoy the taste
