Whenever I pass through nungambakkam and willing to have briyani, khaleel would be my only choice. The only problem is you could find more oil on the plate when you finish your briyani. This is completely a boys hangout spot.
Firstly, if you are very particular about hygiene and need spacious seating - please avoid this place. If you can look beyond all those for a good briyani, then go ahead. Visited a couple of times and briyani was over by 2 pm. So go there early.
Tried 1/4 Briyani of both Mutton and Chicken. Preferred Mutton. Chicken wasn't bad as well. Chicken 65 was decent.
Can't take family. Strictly for your boys only quick eat outs.
Really good chicken biriyani for the price!
I bought the 1/4 chicken biriyani for 60Rs. Been there more than once bought take away. Worth the price.

My experience as a Australian Indian at this place to fulfill my cravings for briyani.
I accidentally passed through this biryani place while walking on the street. I was attracted by the buckets hanging to serve biryani for parcel. I went inside and asked for the sample to taste the biryani. they gave me a small plate. The service was really good.
Initially I was not convinced to buy the food and take away from home, then I ordered chicken biryani and spicy Chettinad style chicken curry with half-heartedly. Because in my mind, I want to taste mutton biryani (only available on Sunday as they said).
I got the parcel, went home, after shower opened the biryani. With the combination of curry I ordered, the biryani tasted so delicious and chicken pieces was ample amount. I ate all and fully satisfied.
I strongly recommend anyone to try and taste the authentic, clean and good biryani here.
I am looking forward to taste their mutton biryani during my next trip.

Small, non A/C restaurant, normal steel chairs, they dont accept cards...
Afterall what we need is a good food :-)
