This a very good fine dine restaurant which I visited in Chennai and it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend this place for people who would love to throw a good treat to family and friends. Even it is a fine dine place they are not that overpriced, the amount spent is worth the money. They serve Peranakan Cuisine from Singapore. But it has very close taste to our South Indian cuisine.

Must visit restaurant in chennai. The ambience was amazing. Food was very tasty. The eggplant gravy and the pumpkin starter were the best. Though the food was great the quantity could have been little better. Overall I suggest everyone to visit this restaurant. Mr. Bala who served us was very courteous and helped us select the best food from their kitchen.

I've been wanting to visit this place for a long time and I am glad I was satisfied with the experience. We were open to trying a unique cuisine and exploring our palette. For starters we ordered Singapore cereal tofu, laksa veg soup, stuffed parata, watermelon and potato salad. Our mains were rendang mushroom curry(which was excellent )with roti jala and roti paratha and for desserts we finished up with molten chocolate lava cake and Singapore ice cream sandwich. The ambience is very nice and cozy, and Bala served our table and explained the food items very well.

Great Ambience and a wonderful experience. We had Chilli Padi Chicken as starters and Village style fried rice, Roti Prata with Baba Potato Chicken curry as main course. The food was extremely tasty and satisfying. For dessert, do not miss the Singaporean Ice Cream Sandwich. It was just wow. Highly recommend the dinning experience and the food here 😊

Pandan club- there are only few restaurants where the food that you experienced will remain in your thoughts for a long time. I am sure the experience which I had at Pandan club is something which I will cherish for a long time. There are three reasons why I am super impressed by Pandan club 1. A carefully curated Pernakan menu by an entrepreneur who is a foodie by himself. They have bought the best from South East and have adapted it to Indian taste buds. Almost everything that I tasted stands in my mind. Singapore cereal prawn, Chilly Padi chicken, Roti prata and Singaporean ice cream sandwich were outstanding 2. Attention to details when it comes to cutleries, everything is handmade 3. WC - It just feels as clean as the one at your home! Overall a great experience and must try in Chennai. This comes from a person like me who wouldn’t set foot in a restaurant that doesn’t serve Biryani 😝

Food indeed live up to the expectation of Masterchef. The taste is exactly the same as Malaysia-Singapore cuisine and taste buds. Price is also quite reasonable as well. I also enjoyed the dining experience thanks to Mr. Vidnoth in explaining all the menu offered during lunch and dinner service.

We had a wonderful dinner at Pandan which lived up to my expectations of Masterchef food, ambience and hospitality. Johnny and Gopinath were amazing at introducing the dishes and so friendly. The ambience is perfect for intimate conversations and made us feel so relaxed. The food was very authentic and I highly recommend the chicken cereal with curry leaves! Was so different and tasty. We enjoyed all the dishes and they were perfect portions and beautifully plated. The sticky rice blue pea flower dessert was to die for. A must try! Also do check out their craft drinks, we had the coconut one and it was so refreshing and nostalgic. Excellent service and delicious food!

After years of longing, this place has finally brought joy to many Malaysians and Singaporeans. During my frequent travels to Chennai over the past 13 years, I've searched endlessly for authentic Malaysian food, to no avail—until now. Thanks to MasterChef Sashi and his incredible team, the experience was exceptional. The service and ambience were top-notch. Speaking of the food, the portions were generous, and the pricing was absolutely fair. I admired how they tailored the flavors to suit local palates while also offering an array of vegetarian options (a personal victory for me). Perhaps an option for a 100% Malaysian palate choices could be considered for travelers like myself from Malaysia and Singapore, I.e. Hainanese rice sambal and other sambal/cili padi choices with authentic style of preparation. Overall it's an amazing and highly recommended dine-in in Chennai.

Pandan club, a joint attempt by Shashi chelliah & Manoj padmanabhan, is a posh & cozy dining experience in Tnagar. The menu options do dwindle when you’re vegetarian, but still have dishes like Jackfruit Buah Keluah and tahu goreng (not to be found anywhere else here). The fiery cauliflower had the perfect crunch, gently coated in sauce. Definitely the hit for the night. The tahu goreng was a beautifully textured fresh silken tofu, but the batter was a tad too thick & the peanut sauce lacked salt! The Roti prata was thin flaky and near perfect. We weren’t a fan of Jackfruit Buah Keluah, because the jackfruit wasn’t marinated in the sauce at all (it tasted like the pieces were just put into a pre-existing sauce and given to us). Finally the veg Char Kway Teow was pretty basic, nothing to write home about! Overall the restaurant scores high on ambience, service and dish options - however the food is a still a hit or miss (in our case, 50-50)!
