We had pani puri and channa masala. Both were really good, pani puri includes 5 or 6 served at the counter. Water is clean and servers are wearing gloves.
Best place to have chaat items and sweets, reasonable prices and best quality. Service is excellent 👌

Good place for authentic North Indian veg snacks and sweets shop
It's nostalgic to have delicious gangotree food after almost 15 years. The food is so delicious even now just like back then when eating with friends. Had bread chat, dahi papdi chat, Vada pav and malai rabdi. The cost came to little under 350₹ but completely worth it. There are limited places to sit so come on weekdays and come early. Best to come in groups of 2-4 but not more as the place can get really crowded really fast. They have separate stalls for different food but it would be nice if they could increase space.
I'm fond of this place right from my childhood. Used to enjoy their bhel and masala poori right from my school days. After a long span, I came back to Chennai and was able to take my family to have a light dinner here.
Thoroughly enjoyed the food. The taste was exactly how it was 25 years back!!

The place appeared crowded but my brother tells me that this was nothing when the actual peak is there. No wonder there is so much of a crowd puller, it is certainly the good good, the excellent service and the superb reasonable prices.
Car parking becomes a non attractive thought process but just the food and service makes you not feel bad about it at all. You can find some part-time nearby and take a walk to the counter to order your food.
The goodness to visit is the range of both sweet and non sweet items. Reasonable price naked it more attractive.
Overall an excellent place to visit once every week, if possible.
The best chat place in town I would say especially this branch they serve the best pani puri here this shop has been here for many years they serve the authentic North Indian chats and sweets do check out their •paani puri ,pav baaji,rasamalai,samosa are the best in here do try them I would give a five star rating to all go early or else it would get over dhai papad is very famous here
