Heads up - it's mostly a couples' park. Parking -- 2 wheeler (15) and 4 wheeler (20). Entry - 25 per head. There are several benches and CCTV cameras all over the place. The walking area is neat and all, but the ponds are mostly filled with algae. Nice sunshade under huge trees. Mostly, people are coming for the photoshoot. There's a children's play area too. Some families have even visited as a picnic spot bringing food. It would have been better if some security kept patrolling inside the park from time to time so that couples behave well.
Good place but has to be maintained and cleaned better. Fountains and water bodies inside the park was dirty and not maintained.
Govt should try to revive such parks and make it better. Ticket price should be increased to control unruly crowd.
Cameras and more security needs to be added.
1) Location: In the middle of the city, opposite US Consulate. Hardly 30-40 mins from the middle of the city or from all the tourist / important places.
2) Attractions: A cute little play area, great green cover and plantation, and a great jogging track
3) Food: None, but since it's in the middle of the city, you can find many options outside the park nearby.
4) Entry Fees: Minimal, 20 rupees for adults, 10 rupees for children.
5) Overall: Ok types, maybe one time visit, and then multiple times if you want to walk around.

It was a wonderful place to hang around during your holidays. Children especially loved the park. We love the lawns and open stadium. Good place of choice for photoshoots. We took a good amount of photos. :)

A small and beautiful botanical garden in the heart of Chennai. It is adorned with varieties of flowering trees. Many people turn up here for morning walk, but you need to have a monthly pass for that. Rest of the people can enter the park at other times for a nominal fees. During the day its mainly a couple's meet up place and also used for photoshoots. Overall you can have a decent walk here if the weather is good.
Flower show 2023 by State Govt June 3rd. Great experience full of real flowers and lot of colours. Very good work done by the Govt. Fresh flowers from ooty. With food stall. And toilet facility. Entry fees 50rs for adult. Max 45mins to see all the flowers.

One of the Best park at Chennai City, Cool & Peaceful place, Entry fee is 25 rupees only.
The work on pathway inside the park is almost complete. A very beautiful park with luscious green cover. Once you are inside the park, you will forgot that you are in the middle of the city. Trees are well maintained. There is mosquito issue after 6 PM. An idle place to do kids and couple photography. Park closes by 7 PM.
