Good food, taste can be better. Sambhar idly is okish too much of sour ingredient is added in the sambhar. Otherwise the food is good! Coconut chutney tastes really good. Sambhar and other side dishes can be improved.
This restaurant serves many varieties of roast (thin dosa), which are amazing. Their meals are fulfilling and satisfying. good in taste. must visit.

Plenty of good (veg) breakfast joints at Coimbatore.... What sets Sri lalitha's apart is their taste and super quick service. Ordered mushroom biriyani, parotta kurma, masala dosa and ghee roast. Chutneys and kurma were refilled without a reminder. Quantity is sufficient. Even their North Indian menu is worth a try albeit it is available only in the evenings.
At a glance, this place looks ordinary but step in and give it a try- you will not be disappointed.
I recently dined at Sri Lalithas, and my experience was a bit of a mixed bag.
On the positive side, the ambiance was fantastic. The restaurant had a cozy, rustic decor that created a welcoming atmosphere. The service was also attentive, and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
However, when it came to the food, there were some disappointments. The Chutney was not that much better than others restaurant.
Overall, Sri Lalithas has potential with its charming setting and friendly service, but there's room for improvement when it comes to consistency in the quality of the dishes.
I'm a regular customer of Lalithas for a long time. I see a lot of improvements these days.
They provide 3 Idly Podis - Excellent Quality (Paruppu, Ellu, Poondu with Gingley Oil), 3 different Chutneys ÷ Sambar. 7 Side dishes for just Idli.

Great place for breakfast and dinner. Had the best tea in the last 8 days across Ooty and Coimbatore. The tea was perfect in every way - strong sweet and thick. Kamraj the best waiter u can ask for.

The service is excellent, they tend to your every need and are very polite. And the food is just wow, it's fresh, light and filling. The pricing I would rate as₹₹. You can go without hesitation. There is no excessive use of coriander or ghee, the kind that makes you sick. It's ideal.
Hygienic and compact. Food served is very tasty. Coffee is hot and aromatic. The price tag is somewhat costlier. Please ensure the affordability beforehand.
