If you are missing your mom's food then this is the place you should visit. The food is so homely that you cannot stop with just one or two servings. The paruppu podi ball is awesome and so is the sambhar.

Very good veg meal for Rs. 100. Very earthy and very flavourful. They have some uniqueness in the food and it is good.
I went in at 3.45 PM and still the service was prompt. Hope they continue the good work.

Awesome meals , authentic South Indian cuisine . Homely taste , neat ambience , walkable distance from Gandhipuram bus station . Near sree ram temple , ram Nagar . They also serve breakfast and dinner too . Car parking may be a problem during peak hours . Quality assured .

Best meals in Coimbatore. Highly stomach friendly. Some of our favourites are Thokku, Podi Urundai, Kollu Rasam, Arasanikkai Aviyal, etc.... More than that, the servers serve with a happy face.....
Sree Vidya Meals Room, Ram Nagar, Coimbatore. Had a healthy and tasty veg "meals" lunch today here. Their paruppu urundai made of groundnuts, served with nellannai is a novelty for us. The side dishes (keerai poriyal, potato Kari, paruppu thuvaiyal), sambhaar , mor kozhambu, Rasam have a very homely taste. Pappadum, curd and payasam in cups and a shallot thokku were other items. Served in clean banana leaves. Rs 100 per head. Can buy extra items for takeaway. We bought two paruppu urundais at 10 each. And also a few fresh country tomatoes.
The entire place is very clean, hygienic and has a very nice decor. Parking available for a few cars. With Nirmala Shriram
Absolute homely food made of healthy ingredients including wood pressed oil which s very rare in hotels.. Puliodarai/Puliogarai was real bliss👍🏼
