Sonam's Kitchen - Darjeeling - Photo album

One of the best breakfast place is Darjeeling. This is situated at a walking distance from Mall road, just opposite Tom and Jerry Cafe. This place doesn't serve meat, but eggs. The shop is managed by one couple, who are pretty great with service as well as communications. They have the amazing toas
A lovely tucked away place with a very homely feel. We ordered the set breakfast and pancakes with banana honey and nuts. The pancake was very thick (as are all pancakes I have tried so far in Darjeeling) but they were soft and fluffy. I personally preferred the set breakfast. The brown bread was re
Hidden gem in Darjeeling. The breakfast platter was freshly made and so fulfilling. Hashbrown was topnotch and tomatoes was too juicy. Best one I ever had so far. Instead of Kaventer's we went there for 2days. No line ,no hustle bustle, such a calm and peaceful little place to have your morning Chai
It's quite a hassle to navigate to the restaurant since it's located on a narrow and steep alley. We had read so many praises about this joint on Google Maps that we took the effort to travel here. The place is managed by a wife-husband duo. Both of them are quite wholesome and welcoming. The item
Hands down the best breakfast in Darjeeling… maybe even India! Sonam’s humble kitchen makes (in my opinion) the most delicious hash brown and black coffee. On top of this Sonam and Puran are lovely warm hearted hosts. A must visit if you’re hungry in Darjeeling 🙏🏻
This small restaurant is family run by Ms Sonam. Had breakfast with Coffee. Taste is super. Non veg is not available except for eggs. But the food is prepared with lot of love and heart. Ingredients are sourced mostly locally and tastes great. This is a place where you unwind and have good food.
I have ordered pan cake, hash brown, toast, cheese omelette.. hash brown platter is divine.. specially cheese omelette. But i didn't like pan cake. It is not yummy at all.
Had the best pancake ever. Coffee was also great. Lovely folks. They don't serve meat.
A lesser known gem in Darjeeling. Drop in for a special breakfast menu built around Hashbrowns, Eggs, Pancakes and Coffee. The owners cook themselves and serve you with utmost care and love. And I even had a hearty chat with them. Please note: They don't serve sausages, bacons, aloo parathas or kac
Food Taste is awesome. Service is good. Aunty and uncle's behaviour was also good. Must try pancakes. It was an awesome experience.
The Hospitality was immense, The owner &:the staffs are too caring.& Moreover the Food was sumptuous enough. Mix veg omlette & pancake with Banana honey & nuts both were treats to our palate.
Excellent place to have freshly made breakfast, I loved it and visited twice in my three days of stay in Darjeeling.
Did anyone say best pancakes in the world ? Sorry I heard Sonam’s Kitchen , this beautiful low key cafe located in my fav quaint town of Darjeeling is a traveler's paradise … amazing breakfast , sumptuous spreads , authentic hash browns and yes mouth watering pancakes , Sonam’s Kitchen isn’t just a
A lesser known gem tucked away in the bylanes of Darjeeling. It's humble owners, prepare the food themselves and serves with love and care. Their breakfast is a must have. They specialise in Hashbrowns and Pancakes - and their coffees are also believed to be amazing (can't share my experience of the
Best place ever to have an English Breakfast. In this world of restaurants, where people served you frozen curries and lentils cooked 2 days ago, here you get fresh food. The chef makes the order one at a time in sequence of order and though you wait for your turn, the outcome is worth it. Wonderful
One of the very fine cafe I have ever been to, this place is perfect in many sense hosts uncle and Aunty are amazing people and very polite. I had omelette and pan cake here and both were really delicious. Cafe is a beautiful place and near mall area makes it easily accessible. Totally loved the pla
Please do visit this place. They provide mouth-watering breakfast items, also the place is very much comfy and cosy.
Superb cooking. The hash browns and tomatoes were todie for. I felt that the cheese omelette and the banana and nuts pancake with honey could have been better.Giving raisins on a pancake was not to my taste. Cheese was scanty in the omkette Coffee as always was good.
Awesome for breakfast.. They're open 8.30am to 2.30pm. A small joint with limited seating capacity. Food is truly good, and the prices will bring happy tears to your eyes. Pancakes were dreamy.
