its a must try that place. they provide variety food in Dehradun. Especially the chawal with raita combos and tacos...love it.. looking forward to visit again..

I visit this place in evening time and the best sandwich i ever had that was in this place and specially that chef special mustered sauce.
Chef Sidak is doing his best with the dishes he is serving in garage.
If you want to experience the explosion of taste and flavours in your mouth, then this is the place to go. Amazing taste, greatvpresentation and good at pocket also.......
Went to The Garage Dine-In for the first time on a friend’s recommendation and been there many a times since. Without an iota of doubt one of the best restaurants in town if not the best. It’s USP is the non- vegetarian items it has to offer coupled with the ambience,decor and the service and you will find yourself feasting and finger licking. For the vegans you must try its Dahi ke Kebab, I can bet you won’t find better than that anywhere in town. Easy on your pocket you will enjoy the wholesome experience The Garage offers and leave as a satisfied smiling 😊 guest .

I know Chef Sidak since last 10 years, worked with him aswell, on my recent visit to dehradun,
Visited the place, the well planned menu, recipe set by chef Sidak , beautiful ambiance and well trained staff.
I wish I coul give Chef Sidak more than 5 star

Had mushroom dopyaza n Dal makhni .bahat hi tasty..tha. very light preparation of dishes.
The theme is justified . Garage uniforms. Garage objects used in setting up the entire theme.
Like petrol handle. . . Tyres etc
Amazing experience with a decor that justifies its name “the garage dine-in” for starters the attendants have a garage uniform for themselves .. and the wash basin is made of tyre and gas pump nozzle!! What I tried-
1) hand rolled cigar - excellent preparation with well cooked chicken stuffing giving a well burnt feel that seems like a cigar
2) Chicken taco- it is a fusion with Malabar parantha acting as a taco shell and taco stuffing none of them have lost their taste in the fusion the parantha retained the South Indian taste giving a spice of Mexican taco
3) Mutton Barra Tandoori- extremely delicious well marinated and beautifully coated took me back to the Mughal era.

Tried the rara mutton on recommendation and it didn’t fail to amuse my taste bud. And tawa fish wit mint was good. Little focus needed on the service otherwise the foods thr are amazing.
Good restaurant though could be better. Small place and should be more cosy in winters. Food is okay. Some items I ordered were average and some were good. Quantity and price is good. Restroom needs cleaning though. Car parking could be an issue at times on peak traffic cos you have to park on the road side.
Nicely designed with modern architecture to suit its name. Traditional Indian dishes with modern tadka. Food was fresh and well cooked. So guys do try once and see it yourself.

I ordered butter chicken and it was good.. loved the tenderness of the roasted chicken. Please sir you need to improve the portion quantity of chutney as I got a 50 gm of green chutney with a full portion of butter chicken. (What if I ordered half portion then I'll got the same portion of chutney). Didn't like the other chutney as it's taste like peanut and coconut chutney, like we eat with south Indian dishes.

Their commitment to the car theme is what attracted me and I tried the place out. Ambience and presentation does not disappoint at all. 10/10 for the atmosphere.
Their menu is also very creative with dishes that you won't find anywhere else. Lots of cool dishes to try!
We tried chicken cigars (an interesting dish that has chicken rolls presented as cigars with some amazing chilli sauce dip) and grilled chicken tacos that are pretty great with an Indian touch to the popular Mexican dish. Not the BEST tasting food I've ever had but it's pretty close. Well cooked, tasty, filling and very satisfying for the price. Unfortunately we didn't take any photos but I'll maybe upload some next time because we're definitely gonna go again.
Recommended. Very creative and unique place. Definitely worth a try.
Awesome dinner last night.The chicken was too good and hats off to the decoration.It was all plain and unique. The staff was had a really good and genuine nature....
Please dont forget to look at the petrol filling pipe which gives water.!
