Amazing experience. Probably the best fish fry I have ever had. The Portuguese gravy fish was delicious as well. Mr. Pandey is an amazing host. Must visit for sea food when in Diu. Good green peaceful ambience.

Had been to this legendary Seafood place TWICE in our 3 day trip to Diu. It’s a very small place that can accommodate around 20-25 pax at full capacity. Just a garden ( lot of plants)converted to a hotel. Has a lot of books on one side, a very rustic place. The Owner cum Chef Mr. Pandey here runs the show. We tried- 1. Garlic King Prawns with Green Salad- Priced at Rs 999/- this is a must try. Comes with 5 pieces of fresh catch prawns cooked to absolute perfection. Finger licking good. 2. Prawns in Portuguese Gravy with Rice- this was actually a show stopper for me and recommended to highly try the dish 3. Fish in Portuguese Gravy with Rice- My wife liked it and said was great 4. Fried Fish with Green Salad- Honestly have tried better and was a letdown for me. 5. Fish in Tamarind Curry with Rice- try this for the tanginess in gravy coupled with fresh fish. 6. Fresh Orange Juice- drooling still for this although had it on both days. 7. Fresh Lime Soda- Sweet and Salt available Quantity is good and can be shared by 2 pax.We had all the above spread across 2 days for dinner and lunch. Cash preferred however UPI payment is accepted too. A meal for 2 would cost around Rs 2000/- Parking for 2 wheelers available on the very narrow road. Cars to be parked some 100-150 meters away. Not much traffic, in residential area.

This is the first time i visited diu. Wanted to have some good seafood. I got cautious after reading a few negative reviews. I discussed with my wife and thankfully we headed to this place. They served us the best home cooked sea food. Requesting everyone, not to get confused with the biased negative comments. Bang on at this place and get the good food. Also, this place is having an 8 year old "Baap of Money Plant" which is giving a very positive vibe.

This is a lovely little place in the backyard of Mr and Mrs Pandey's home. They cook and serve themselves so please do not expect any kind of luxury. This would be a place if you want to taste great fish dishes. They have a small menu and even those are not available all the time. I have been to this place a few times and during the season you get quite a few options and the food was out of this world but if you visit during the off season it becomes a disappointment. We didn't get much of an option and the food was not up to the mark. Also they do not accept cards. Only cash or upi.

Lovely small cafe with a calm vibe. Quiet place to eat and rest after visiting the nearby Fortress and other tourist attractions. 600m from the fortress. The hosts are warm and welcoming.

Amazing, freshly cooked and heartwarming food. A little chill in the air and the warm-delicious food made it a worth visit. We wholeheartedly finished all the dishes. The prawns dish was so good and the fish was a treat. The hosts are gracious and also gave us time to eat our food properly even though we were a bit late. What a find! We are going home with a smile and satisfied stomach!💓

I had an absolutely delightful experience at O Coqueiro. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance was warm and inviting. The menu offered a wide array of non-vegetarian dishes, each one more tempting than the last. The service was impeccable, with the staff being attentive and knowledgeable about the dishes they served. The highlight of the dining experience was undoubtedly the food itself. Every dish was bursting with flavors and cooked to perfection. The meats were tender and succulent, and the spices used were just right, adding a perfect balance to each dish. Overall, O Coqueiro left a lasting impression on me with their exceptional culinary offerings and top-notch service. I will definitely be returning to savor more of their delectable non-veg dishes. A must-visit for all food enthusiasts!

This is a small resturant near to diu fort. The ambience is very good and calm. Food was awesome. Among the restaurants I have tried in Diu, it's the best one. The quantity and taste of food are the best for price in Diu. Home made Portuguese flavour makes the food even better. It's seafood items are very well cooked. You must visit this place if you are in Diu.

It's a decent joint to have a nice quiet meal. Their speciality is Non vegetarian items cooked in Portuguese style. It's situated off the main roads so it's difficult to locate. All in all visit if you like home cooked non veg stuff.
