Visited this restaurant back in November 2018.
Arcanjela Restaurant & Bar is located near Dona Paula Circle, It's a local Goan Food Cuisine Restro where you'll also get other delicious cuisine from North India & Chinese, Alcohol is also served
The ambience is nice and staff service is nice, best time to visit in night
We ordered : Calimiri Squid, Butter Chilly Cheese Garlic Naan, Triple Chicken Shezwan Rice
Food Quality and Quantity is best
A place where you should try eat fish and not chicken. A place which is open till 1 at night. A good ambient place to hang out at night
Arcanjela restaurant and bar... Located just at the circle of Donal Paul (the junction road which leads to the jetty)
A house who's backyard has been converted into a restaurant which dishes out some amazing local goan food and also North Indian and indo Chinese cuisine.. Rustic interior.. Clean and basic
The pork vindaloo was a killer dish here.. And so was the pork chilli goan style.. The squid wasn't that fresh... But overall a great place to dine in this area for local goan cuisine.. The service is a little slow but it's OK.. The food compensates for it
Meal for two adults and two kids costed a mere ₹1000/- with a couple of drinks..
Great value, open air seating and good service. Arcanjela is located in Donapaula and an iconic place for those who work late. A well stocked bar, good fish, ample parking and late timings get all those loyals back to this nice goan restaurant. Ask server for fresh catch, go easy with local drinks life feni / urrak.
Not so posh ambiance but a good garden area...meant for seafood lovers as me and a reasonable rate restaurant to hang out with friends and family and for gazali..
Excelent Place To Have Lunch and Dinner..
and Place Is Very Calm and Silent ..
Variety Of Dishes...
At Very Affordable Price .
and A Decent Place to Have Food.
We stumbled upon this place for dinner post visit to Dona Paula beach. It was bit hard for us to find some good place to dine and we luckily spotted this.
It was a family restaurant type with a bit of Goan vibe. We took Paneer Tikka as veg starter. Then prawns golden fry, two types of fish fry, chicken curry & roti, rice. The prawns golden fry got emptied in no time. Fish & chicken were cooked in Goan style.
Tried fenny here, didn't like it much!
The quantity was good and the service was bit slow. Overall had a good experience.
Goan food was awesome.. The pork sausage and vindaloo is very much enjoy able. Liquids are cheap.. H2O is almost not present... One Waiter is not good.. The aged one.. So avoid the front table.. Sit on the back of the room
Decent place decent food. Easy on pocket. Outdoor seating option is ok. Located on the circle highly accessible. Will recommend for cheap booze and decent starters.
A restaurant that looks quite like a watering hole turned out to be quite the beast when it came to serving flavorful food. Our 6 night long stay in Goa was made even more pleasant thanks to the food served here. Do try their beef roast (without the green chutney on top), their pork sausage pulao, Squid Recheado, Prawns golden fried crispy and sausage fry. This place is pocket friendly too. There's a paan shop right outside, do give that a try too.
One of the typical Goan bar and restaurant. The vibe is nice . Food is also ok considering the price. Their Goan chilli Chicken was amazing.
This is a good cheap bar at the Donna Paula Circle for getting the local vibe. The food is gone but you can get Chinese and north Indian as well. I wouldn’t recommend it. Booze is extremely cheap and services fast. This is also a shop upfront if you want to continue tippling after you leave, the bar. There is convenient parking around the corner.
Nice place to chill with your friends and family, tasty food and good service ,crispy chicken is too good.
The ambience was great. The food is amazinggg❤️❤️ the rates are affordable. The lighting in the corners is like a rave party so.. personally my eyes started paining. So people who don't wanna get their eyes strained can avoid sitting in d end corners. OTHERWISE ITS PERFECTTTT
I am of a opinion that waiters overcharge and I have been cheated with over pricing, tourists kindly double check what you have ordered which must tally with the invoice, most recently I was there the waiter gave me a hand written bill and when I asked for the actual printed bill it differed. Hence I request all tourists to check what they order and what they pay.
Finally the land line number is out of service, the management must provide the cell number I case the customers to call or give feedback✔️
Other than this issue all was good ie: food quality, portion and value for money was all good to go 🥂
Dined on 28/12/2023 and 31/12/2023
Thank You 🥂
Have tried their Pork Vindaloo and Chicken Xacuti with chappathi which was good. You can find some cats, which will pass near to you. Suppliers were very friendly and their service was nice. It's near to the Dona Paula.
Value for money place that serves good local Goan food. Definitely recommend the seafood preparations- we had mussels rawa fried and squids recheado, both of which were delicious. Chicken cafreal was average at best. Service is really slow but probably because they are understaffed (2 servers were attending to all the tables during our visit).
What a find this place. Absolutely relaxing atmosphere, and so close to the city. What I loved of this place is the quality of food, taste and quantity served as compared to the much affordable price. I also liked that the staff instantly asked another guest to stop smoking in public on my request. This all made me feel valued and I would highly recommend this place. Cheers.
An amazing place to Hangout with your gang after work or during the weekends. The prices are bareble...
You are a winner if you come here. Only winners come here. Maximum happiness. In a long time.
