Now the dosa etc doesn't seem to be as of their old one. And also they should manage to control the crowd everyone is there to eat not to see the tricks of dosa master
Dosa! Dosa! Dosa! One of the best street food in kochi. It is a shop where you can get a wide variety of dosas. My favorite is their kalakki which is a dish made with eggs.
Dosa making is fun to watch. Must try their special egg dosa .The new shop is spacious and has good service. Thammanam - Pullepady Rd . We went to Chennai Thatt Dosa at 6 o'clock and there was not much rush. Chennai Thatt Dosa is open from 6 pm to 3 am. Chennai Thatt Dosa is a must-visit shop for street food lovers at night.
The cook is the star of this thattukada, For those late-night dosa cravings, this is the ultimate destination. With its recent relocation, the bustling dosa spot now boasts a more spacious area for waiting and dining in. The live kitchen setup offers an entertaining view of the dosa-making process, while the tidy, high-seating arrangement adds to the overall appeal.
Podi butter roast dosa and Chennai special dosa
Lost their old magic, podi butter dosa was my choice among the two. Dosa was served hot, chutney and sides were alright. Economically priced, worth a try.
A place where you can try a variety of dosas. They have a lot of mixed varieties. It's a crowded place and you have to wait in the queue to get your order delivered. A small dining area is also there. The centre of attraction is their chef. He teaches the lesson of passion and dedication through his work.

DOSA! DOSA! and DOSA! Veriety of DOSA. That's all about this place. The dosa making is interesting to watch. The guy really enjoys what he is doing. That's the highlight of this place. Otherwise, taste, service and ambience is okayish. Also cost is very reasonable. But there are other places where we will get tastier dosa.
They have good food, and the primary USP of this restaurant is only one chef makes all the dishes continuously. There are a variety of dosas available here. If you are a dosa fan or a vegetarian, You should check this out. The street restaurant is too much crowded. You have to wait for some time to get the order because of the crowd.
Overall verdict: One of the best places in Kochi to try a variety of dosas.
One among a few places in kochi where you can choose from wide varieties of dosas. Usually crowded at night, and seating space is limited. We had 3 kinds of dosas and kulam kuthi kalakki. All items where superb. And it's a treat to see the one single chef who cooks all the items.
If you’re craving a late night dosa then this is the place to be! Always bustling with a crowd, this dosa spot was relocated recently and now they have bigger space for people to wait and also dine-in. It is also super fun to watch the live kitchen set-up they have and the process of making the dosa in itself. It is also kept super clean with their high seating arrangements.
I had tried their Karam Masala Dosa and it was amazing! The menu might seem confusing but one good thing is that no 2 dosas will taste the same in this place. Every dosa has a unique flavour and twist which is why you will never get bored of the place! Also, their sambar and chutneys are also super tasty and flavoursome.
PS. They also have an Arun’s Ice Cream dispenser. If you’re a fan of something sweet and cold after a meal, then check out the collection! Arun’s is one of my favourites and I always buy ice creams when I see their dispenser in a store or restaurant.
