Rajiv, Akhil and I had arrived at Cochin International airport much before our flight, and were hungry. We were directed to the impressive airport restaurant located on the vistor's area on terminal 3. We took 10rs pass and entered . It is large in size.The service is prompt, and rates are not too bad, for an airport restaurant. The food bill came to Rs. 300 with the taxes included!! So i am giving 5 stars!
Their mini sambar idlies are ultimate and this is coming from a Chennai guy. Definitely the BEST sambar i have ever HAD...
After coming to kochi, I tried various veg restaurants! I’m so glad I discovered this restaurant! The North Indian thali meals was sooo goood! It was a homely happy meal indeed! 👌🏻
4Star to the food and one more for prime location (ERS). W/o any hesitation, I ordered fish combo and was really surprised with the taste, quality and quantity. During course of Lunch, I met with Manager and tried to take help and understand variety of dish especially Kerala special and amazed to see tasty dish. We were so much impressed that we took couple of sandwiches alongwith. Definitely recommend when around Earnakulam South Railway Station.
Must try : Sandwich , Fish Combo.

The best eatery that I have ever come across my life inside a Railway station. Been there thrice since its launch. The ambiance is amazing, service is great and food is superb cost wise and taste wise.
Never miss their Idly in Bucket available in the Kiosk Outside (i-bar)
Love this place! I feel so happy each time I get out of the train and see this cozy and squeaky clean diner! Perfect place to grab a coffee, a sandwich or even a veg meal at their upstarts outlet! Coffee was amazing! The passion fruit juice was top notch. And took Kallappam and Kadala curry as parcel and it tasted so good! There aren’t many places serving kallappam in kochi. I highly recommend food stop diner! The prices are quite reasonable too! The ground floor part has non-veg snacks and upstairs part is pure veg. I wish they had cold coffee!

Had to drop a friend in the South railway station and since Food Stop diner was right in the railway station, it was no-brainer to go for the same for a quick snack.
Food Stop diner is a chain of outlets who strive to provide quality dining options in airports, railway stations, highways etc. and in our current situation,this initiative is more than welcome!
The place is well lit and has a pleasing ambience, and we don't at all feel like we're in a food court in a normal railway station. This place more has a café kinda ambience and there are a no.of options for the customers to choose from, in terms of cuisines and dishes.
Since we didn't have much time, decided to go for a passion fruit based drink and a chicken tikka sandwich and a cheese sandwich each. The sandwiches were good enough, taste wise and quality wise and priced economically too. The passion fruit drink was also refreshing,with the right amount of sweet and tanginess.
In all, this is a really good option for travellers who are stopping by the South Railway station and also for hungry souls nearby. If I'm not wrong,this place runs 24*7 which is the icing on the cake. If you're in the vicinity,do give them a try. Personally, I'm happy that we have a place like this right in the busy South railway jn and I'll definitely be back here more often.
Ordered Chicken Biriyani from swiggy and it is nice packaging in a bigshopper.Then rice quantity is less because they served in a low hole.But it looks like big quantity
Happened to pick a parcel of Veg South Indian Combo.Basically a combo of 3 varity of rice with buttermilk & papdam.
Suggesting to pack the buttermilk in a better way as being "take away" it tilts & there's hardly anything left to drink

But would also suggest to add more varieties in the food menu.
Three varieties of rice its good but maybe too much depending on the individual.
Early morning train. No time for breakfast.
But in South railway station no issues. Neat quality tasty food. Very nice staff and their service too good. Recommended for everyone who travels through South railway station.

Food track located inside the Ernakulam Junction Railway Station. Break fast and lunch items are available in ground floor and first floor separately. Very good and hygiene place for having food. Tasty food available but price is high. Best option.
The ambience is really great and couldn't believe it's a IRCTC run restaurant. The food taste is really good and hygiene. I found it little expensive but it's worth the price. The building has a two way access from the platform of railway station and from the outside. Parking is not an issue since it's part of the railway station. Families can prefer this place since it's clean and ease of access if you are in a hurry to catch train.
This place is a blessing for the passengers at the south railway station. Buy your favorite juices, cut fruits packets, biriyanis or select from a wide variety of items. The place looks speck and clean and hosts wonderful service. I am pleasantly surprised by the experience.
Shocked by seeing this set up in Ernakulam South station.Though happy as well for ensuring the expectations are met by service and the quality.
Ambience is well set and comfy enough to accommodate large crowd combining both ground and first floor.
Overall good pitstop for short coffee/Snack break.

Good place to stop for food. Price is ok with the amenities and infrastructure they provide. I had podi dosa and coffee .. cover was superb. Dosa didn't meet my expectations.. Good stop for people who care for cleanliness and service standards at affordable rate...
You can have vegetarian food at first floor, beverage, snacks and non veg at ground floor.
Pay the bill and you will get a token , which you can place on table. Food will be served on the table.
I never thought i would live to see a quality restaurant open in a railway station in Kerala. This place is sooo good. They have even got wraps and sandwiches. The price of the items is apt for the tasty food they provide. You MUST try the podi idli if you go there at least once. I loved it. Great ambience too.
This is by far the best eatery that I have found inside a Railway Station in Kerala. Operating in two floors as well they have a Kiosk for Snacks and Beverages. You also get Packaged items Like Juices, Biscuits and Cakes.
The ambiance is so good and they have maintained it very well since the launch last year. The Kitchen is semi open.
I tried the i-bar Combo which Consists of 4 pieces of mini idlis and 1 Vada in a Tub of Hot Piping Sambaar.

A good initiative by IRCTC - to provide customers with quality food and a quality experience... food joints inside railway station have always been considered as unclean and unsafe - this place will change that opinion... it’s clean, well maintained and provides clean food and beverages... do check it out!
