Heard so much about this and fiiinally got to try. Went for lunch on Friday, the place was packed. They have community tables, so you can share tables with anyone instead of waiting. Ordered fish curry meals with prawns which was soo yum! At the billing you'll find a cart full of mints, sweets and what not. Good experience :D
My friend suggested me to The Machli Restaurant Pure Non Vegetarian Hotel. From outside the restaurant doesn't seems like existing, but inside it's good. The interior is simple and attractive. They play music 🎼 but it's quite louder. We have tried there meals, fish fry, beef coconut fry, chicken biriyani and beef biriyani. The meals, fish fry and the beef coconut fry is very tasty. The meals is good with too much of curries😋. But biriyani was not up to the mark.

The customer service is good. And the cash counter looks like a small local sweet shop and it's very unique. The restaurant is famous for there lunch only. It's good in future😍 if you guys can serve breakfast and dinner too.
Well this post is about the most amazing meals that I have had in this city. In pic, machli fry and meals from The Machli Restaurant, Kochi. Without doubt I can say that this is the best meals and fish fry available in the city. The fish is just so fresh and juicy, cooked to perfection. Even though the pic is not great, couldn't resist sharing this!

Been there a few times.Biriyani is average.Meals are good. The special dishes are the ones to go there for. They change every day. Machili special fry ia really good. Especially the way they serve.
Rite from the pan. Uppilu vevicha pothu is something u don't find anywhere else. Something that u get only at home. U can find some traditional local non veg cuisine there,not on a regular basis though., Changes every day.
On the downside,the place is a bit cramped for space post 1230pm

I had a great time at Machli Restaurant, a non-food place that serves amazing fish dishes. My colleagues recommended it to me and I'm so glad they did.
The restaurant is on the first floor and it has a cozy atmosphere. It was very busy when we arrived, but we managed to get a table after a short wait.
We ordered meals with Machli special fish fry(chemballi fry), chala fry beef with koorkka and chemballi curry. Everything was delicious and satisfying. The meals came with rice and some fish curry gravy that was out of this world. I couldn't get enough of it. The side dishes were also tasty and complemented the main course well. The only thing I didn't like much was the chala (sardine) fry, which was a bit dry and bland. But the beef with koorkka was a perfect combination of meat and vegetables, and the Machli special fish fry was crispy and juicy. To finish off, we got some pineapple pieces with sugar on top, which the restaurant manager said was good for digestion. I thought that was a nice touch. We also had a sarbath drink, which was refreshing and sweet. It was a wonderful dining experience overall.The price range is very reasonable.
The restaurant is open from 12pm to 4pm. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they gave us some tips on what to order. I highly recommend this place to all the non-veg lovers who want to try authentic non-veg dishes.
Best meals shop in Cochin. Even though price is little bit higher it's really worth the money. All items provided are fresh and tasty. Rs 100 for meals in which they provide four different curry you can choose what you want. There will also be two veg thoran, pappad , pickle, chammanthi along with the meals. Fish and beef specials are available. Even though fish item price is higher, the quality is unmatchable. Fish fry, curry is preferred. Beef specials are also the best. The meat used are good quality. Even if you buy just meals without any special, you can choose curry which may have prawns and beef items which is given along with meals. This place will be crowded during lunch time. It is recommended to reach the shop by 12.30 to get seats and enjoy the meals without any crowd.
This place is a top choice for a satisfying and delicious lunch. Their beef fries are outstanding, and their fish fries are equally delectable. If you're in Kochi, it's a must-visit spot for sure!

They serve free sarbath which are very refreshing. Even they serve kanji (cooked rice) water instead of normal water.

A small set up in the first floor of the building which can occupy maximum 40-50 people at a time. GPS will take you correctly as this place is little distant from the city.

This is one of the best restaurants I've been to in my life as someone who has eaten seafood from vancouver to Hanoi. The dishes are super fresh - kingfish caught at 11am same day we ate at 1pm. Very tasty too - apart from the thick kingfish roast, I suggest the squid roast, prawns roast and fish eggs fry. The rice plate is excellent too - really good samanthi and anchovies. They have some great curries they bring over like a tomato seafood one. I've never had before the unique sweet dish they have - a pineapple and coconut mix. They always ask if you're happy w the food and we all were. 1,900rs for all of the above and it was more than enough for 4 of us.
