A kathiyawadi restaurant chain where you will enjoy food with 2 options in lawn with khat and pillow or seating inside. Try vagharela rotla dish and began ka bharta You will get various food options including dal bati, Chinese and others regions also. There is kids area for kids.

This is a really nice place to go with your friends or family members and it's on highway. Here I personally like cheese 🧀 Naan. But if you go on Saturday or Sunday then you will not get proper service actually because there is a lot of people around here. You will not be served so good. So, you must only go on working days , i.e., Monday to Friday. You will get nice service on this days. The Garden is also nice scene to enjoy with and also they have some games for children to play......

Overall food is good but in "Masala Papad" what they do I don't know. I notice the prices of all items little increased. For 4 people around 700 to 1000 rupees will comes.

The Daal Baati at this restaurant was tasty, and the staff provided good service. However, the presence of mosquitos around the table and food was disappointing. With improved hygiene, it could be an even better experience.

It's nice place to arrange any kind of function ..it's has big lawn which can easily cover 500-700 persons ..and now the real thing it's has best authentic traditional cuisine..it's kichadi kadhi is best I ever tasted..in short you definitely try it

Personally I like this place very much .. whenever I want to eat kathiyavadi then I come to this place only ... each and every items perfect perfect perfect ..... vadharelo rotlo and odo are the speciality I guess.. 😋👍🏻

Open garden restaurant on SG highway .. been there many a times .. You can have Kathiawadi food, Punjabi & many other options.. We tried Paneer Tikka masala, butter roti, mix veg & butter milk .. food & services to be improved ..

Visited on Saturday at this place nd carving for some kathiyavadi food..we ordered dhokli sabji, lasaniya bataka, rajvadi khichdi, kathiyavadi kadhi nd chaas..what we loved most are dhokli ni sabji nd kadhi bcz that both items are curd base so they were tangy..loved all the foods but they laked in terms of hygiene..

The place was a recommendation from a friend, but I don't understand why. We ordered Punjabi Dum Aloo and Paneer Tufani. Both the dishes were average in taste but way too oily. The taste might improve if the oil is reduced. Seating was just like another average restaurant. Not impressed.

I visited it for lunch couple of weeks ago. This place is near Gota Cross roads. The menu here is big, having Punjabi, Kathiyawadi, South Indian as well as Continental. Kathiyawadi being its speciality,I ordered the fix Kathiyawadi Lunch. The staff and the service were very average. The thali was too oily for me. The taste was not bad but it was overflowing with oil.Hence couldn't enjoy the dish. Also the prices are high comparing what the restaurant is giving.

The service was good but taste of food was a bit compromise. Sitting on khatt (cot) under the moonlight in the garden was an awesome experience, you should try this atleast once. I ordered cheese masala and ringan bhartha, both were totally tasteless. The bajri rotli was good. Masala khichdi and kathiyawadi kadhi were awesome. Paneer chilly dry was average. At the end of dinner while paying the bill we did tell the waiter about our problem and he offered to not charge us for those items or else replace the item but then we did let it go, it was a good gesture from the management though. No matter it was fun but taste is the main part, which was lacking in both sabjis and because of that I am giving a low rating.

The actual review of the restaurant can only given by a person who can't consider "chalta hai thing which is why I'm here to review it. Starting from the service order something and u get a chewy fried vegetables which i think were just reheated in a pre used oil of bad quality and which was replaced by the manager with paneer Chilli which had exactly 4 pieces (surrounded by capsicums, onions etc just like a lari wala gives) for 4 people. Not worth the money, costly food, poor service, staff foes not worry if theres spoon or paper napkins on the table. Soups literally suck. And at last the main course which was not at all consumable as the roti was not properly heated in the tandoor. It was "undercooked" chewy. I hope this gets you an idea of how poor is the overall status of the restaurant.

Punjabi food taste is good, average services, full Dhaba Style seating, average food price. We generally prefer this place when we need to take affordable dinner.

Marutinandan was famous name for kathiyawadi food when started. But now it's a kind of "Khichadi" which you can't define. With times they started everything n became like a multi-cuisine.<br/>It would had reached at the highest peak if it would had remained only Kathiyawadi <br/>My last experience about a week back when we were searching a good place on highway. It was average.<br/>It was very good in the service point of view. We in fact were late to reach there and it was almost closing time for them but still they welcomed and responded well<br/>It was average for the taste. Nothing was like we feel to make the mind for the next visit.<br/>Kathiyawadi sabzi was like punjabi mixed taste.<br/>Punjabi Sabzi also wasn't that good<br/>Was below average at the hygiene point of view.<br/>The plates we got was not washed properly, the water glasses were so dirty which didn't even touch.<br/>Overall My rating 3 is just because the way staff responded at the time when normally other staff doesn't do.

If we could get freedom to give negative rating, I 'll surely go for that, too much oily absurd food, bogus service and hygiene issues are also there, better to avoid this kind of absurd food joint , particularly this outlet.

Marutinandan have various branch in the city at different locations like gota, sola, bodakdev, bopal... I tried food at Gota & Sola.. Food taste & quality is different at both the locations. Overall quality is not admirable. The experience is too bad and demotivating to try the food in future. Better to try other Kathiyawadi restaurant which are selling only Kathiyawadi cuisine foods. <br/><br/>Service - 1 point <br/>Food - 1.5  point <br/>Interior & Cleanliness - 1 point<br/><br/>Try to avoid kathiyawadi foods at multi cuisines restaurants... You can find Great options of Kathiyawadi foods at solo cuisine restaurants..

Poor food taste and pathetic quality of the ingredients. Extremely bad quality of service and ambience. However, price and the quantity is reasonable. Overall bad experience and I don't recommend it.

I am big fan of Marutinandan food as they have superb quality of kathiyawadi and a great quality of punjabi food but compare to other outlets it is not what you are looking for as other outlets, the taste is not that good as it has to be but if you are a hunger man or a women and ready for any punjabi or kathiyawadi taste try it at upmost priority..

Nice restaurant on SG highway.  Large space with enough sitting arrangement (Thankfully no waiting).  Though Punjabi food is not too good, but kathiawadi is superb.  Kadi, Rotla and Bengan Bharta are awsome.<br/><br/>Friendly people and good service even though large capacity.<br/>Value for money, can visit for change

Nice restaurant on Gandhinagar highway. Nice seating area with an option of dhaba style seating arrangement. Chaas is good and refreshing. Punjabi thali is superb. It fulfilled my wish to eat something spicy and filling. On the contrary, kathiawadi thali is not up to the mark. Vegetable dishes are too spicy and kadhi is too sweet. Khichdi is good though. Kathiawadi thali comes with an option of bajra rotala or chapati. Punjabi comes either with chapatti or tandoori roti. Both rotis are served with dollops of ghee, which still lingers on hand and in mouth even after finishing your meal.

I just checked in here while returning from gandhinagar & I was really hungry and in a mood to try out some weird combo for food, so I ordered 'desi chinese' to start with... I ordered 'manchurian dry'... It was too much salty and it was not hot enough to enjoy.. Also it took a lot of time to be served...<br/>But still my hope for 'kathiawadi' food didn't end.<br/>I ordered 'lasaniya bateta' & 'baigan masala' for main course.. And it was worth the wait.<br/>Both the dishes were tasty enough and the quantity was also generous.<br/>Lasaniya bateta had that typical garlic flavor that one seeks in a kathiawadi dish.. Which was sufficient to enjoy the food.<br/>Baigan masala was tasty and the gravy was very nice.<br/>In all, I enjoyed the food and stimulated my taste buds..<br/>Service part was ok ok.

Totally tasteless food...I don't know how these guys manage dhaba cum garden restaurant..Service is bad..We have to wait at least 1 hour to get our first order...Very bad management on Sundays..Dear all please try something better on s g highway than Marutinandan Gota..

Not always do you want to go to a normal high-end restaurant and eat... Yesterday was that day ! In all moods to have Gujarati-Kathiyawadi food..late in the night, driving on the Vaishnodevi Sg road... We spotted this not-so-little dhaba Marutinandan ! <br/>So we had the sev-tameta nu shaak, lasaniya bataka, baingan bharta, masala khichdi etc. ! <br/>Worth a mention is the seating on the 'khatalas' , which we took an instant fancy for !<br/>One of the yummiest food I've ever had... Which compelled me to write about it ! The garlic naan we called for...was one of the finest which would easily be competition to a big restaurant- so crisp and utterly buttery charred ! The 'rotlo' was just so superb that I can't explain ! <br/>Complete with chaash, ghee-gol and tadka type onions..... This meal was like 'Serendipity' in all means ! Do try if you happen to be a fan of Kathiyawadi food with a dhaba Wala desi feel !<br/>Some of these dhabas are the under-dogs of the food industry I feel !!<br/>Cost for 4 - 470 ₹ only (hahhahahahah) :D
