The ambience of this restaurant is simply captivating. Its a rooftop one and the deco is done beautifully. The place is quite spacious, not at all cramped up unlike many other restaurants. There is AC seating also, but it feels really nice to sit outside if the weather permits. The food quality was really good. Atomic Mushroom was really yummy, so was Chilly potato and Baked Lasagnea. They are quite professional, the noodles were not good and on telling them this, the price for that was waived off. Moong Dal Halwa was also ok, not excellent though. Mocktails were also good including Mint Mojito which is a must try; Green Mile and Sunset Glory were also ok. The service was excellent and the hosts were polite. Prices are comparable to other upscale restaurants in Gandhinagar. A must visit if you give ambience equal importance as food.
The rope has a variety menu with the usual culprits but the chef has put in some individuality in the dishes, you may like some, some not that much. One thing is that they do take your feedback seriously. To the extent that they changed the waterchestnut starter (their star) and replaced it with cottage cheese for my event of 50 odd people and offered it to another group for feedback.
The ambience is very nice, having more open air and terrace seating, covered area is less so when weather is harsh then you will definitely suffer.
Staff is courteous but definitely needs more event management skills.
Portions are generous and deserts particularly moon dal halwa and gulab jamun deserve special mention.
Overall a good experience, give it a spin once.
Good theme, a good example of how to use terrace and make it attractive. Prices are higher than average specially for soft drinks. Food taste is good. Staff members are well mannered and educated.
