An outlet serving authentic Nepalese cuisine. The ambience is rustic & very basic. They also serve drinks. The food is served in brass utensils sourced from Kathmandu. Met the owner, Karma Sherap Lepcha who was gracious enough to explain us the dishes served on the Mutton Thali (350/-) ordered by us. The food was tasty and included ghee & curd along with the Thali. The mutton curry was yum. The Thali contained two fermented dishes, one being soyabean and the other being some local spinach whose name I forget! It also included dried fish chutney which was strong. There was a green chutney with coriander which was good. A veg dry curry was also included. The food was spicy. A good joint to have traditional Nepali cuisine, if you're not very bothered with the ambience. The place was neat otherwise.

Hamro Bhansa Ghar, located on MG Marg in Gangtok, offers various authentic Nepalese dishes. The Mutton Thali is a delightful treat for meat lovers. The thali comes with a generous serving of tender mutton cooked in a flavorful gravy. The meat is succulent and perfectly spiced, making it a truly satisfying experience. Accompanied by a variety of traditional side dishes, including dal, gundruk, fries, dryfish chatni etc., the Mutton Thali offers a well-rounded meal. The portion size is ample, ensuring you leave the restaurant with a full stomach. Overall, if you're craving a delicious mutton feast, Hamro Bhansa Ghar's Mutton Thali is a must-try. Overall, whether you're a meat lover or a vegetarian, Hamro Bhansa Ghar offers a satisfying thali experience with their varieties of options. The restaurant's location on MG Marg makes it convenient for tourists and locals alike, and the quality of the food is commendable.

I have no understanding of Nepali food but the food I ate here tasted amazing. I went twice and I ordered Chicken Sandekho the first time and Mutton Thali the second time. And both were amazing. There is not much of an ambience but if you're going for the taste, I'd highly recommend it.

Its a tiny little place for a delicious home style nepali meal. I dont know how authentic they were as it was our first time eating a nepali thali but whatever it was, it was great. We ate a vegetarian thali and it was super delicious. One thing about eating vegetables in sikkim is that the quality of the veggies is so superior and here also it was no different. Do visit this place if you are tired of eating those typical restaurant style food.

You can get authentic Nepali thali over here. Food is simple but tasty. Situated in the heart of MG Road, this place has got good vibes and you can also enjoy alcohol along with food.

An authentic Nepalese Cuisine serving restaurant. Momo was not available hence we ordered Chicken Thali Set which was served within 10-15min after placing order. The presentation of food was excellent. The desi ghee served added an awesome flavour to food. The leafy green served was almost negligible, need to serve in good portion as that is USP of Nepalese cuisine. Overall an awesome dinner at reasonable price.

The food is amazing. Water and thalis are served in coppers utensils. Price is reasonable. They take around 15-20 mins to serve the food and it’s worth waiting that long. It’s a must visit if you’re in Gangtok. One star is reduced because of the place. It’s a bit congested and have to share with others if you’re two.
