Review Bella Cucina - Gurugram (Gurgaon)

JP
Finding authentic Italian cuisine in a hotel in Gurgaon was a surprise. It was also very nice that the chef took the time to come to the table and make off-the-menu recommendations. The burrata and tiramisu were wonderful, the bolognese was a bit plain and the flavors less complex than expected. Def a great Italian find in Delhi but quite pricey compared to other local eateries and still not 100% en par with the food you’d get in Italy. It was a bit odd that the menus given out where practically falling apart and printed on very cheap paper.

If you want to explore Italian food beyond pizza, pasta and risotto this is your place. We tried the cheese platter with cold cut meat and it was a explosion of multiple different flavors (photo given) also tried salmon which is a rather common dish that I have had before in other restaurants.

I have been fortunate to be one of the first guests to review this newly renovated Italian restaurant in Le Meridien that opened in August 2021. The dining experience and the ambience was excellent, with an open kitchen behind glass bars to enjoy watching your food being cooked. We ordered an Arabiata which was heavily customised, and were pleasantly surprised that the chef came up with the perfect pasta. The server, Hitesh was knowledgeable and treated us well. The restaurant's menu is still evolving, and it's just a matter of time when they would see more Italian food lovers flocking in to enjoy their recipes.

Must have : cappuccino of mushroom soup, fresh pizza, fresh pasta Went to Bella cucina as I was craving authentic Italian food and it was worth it. The resturant ambience is great very modern although i would have liked a more rustic setting but it was spotless clean and opulent. The staff is very courteous, warm and explained to us each of the dish we ordered, which was highly appreciated. The restaurant has got in an Italian chef and the food was very authentic. We got a bread basket to start with which was accompanied work a fresh Sun dried tomato sauce/salsa. The bread was fresh, light and perfectly seasoned. We ordered an cappuccino of mushroom soup which was out of the world. The soup comes with a buttery brioche and the combination was just too good. The soup was jam packed of flavour and i would highly recommend it. With this we ordered ricotta and edamame crostini which we unique cross of Italian and Japanese cuisine. For mains we ordered fresh linguini in Al Genovese sauce, the pasta was freshly made with delicious sauce. The restaurant makes fresh hand rolled pizza and this was the best dish for us. We ordered chicken and jalapeno pizza, a wonderfully thin base with a decadent sauce. The pizza is baked in their open oven and rolled right in front of you. Kudos to the chef on the pizza.

An easy and modest Italian restaurant, housing flavours from the Northern part of Italy and does not assume the safe label of to any cliché; it defines its own! Anticipate seeing some stimulating takes on the food, partaking crostini platters, Italian house wines, grappa and a refreshing selection of wines and liqueurs. The star is the 'Molteni Kitchen' standing tall in a blanket of glass, a harbinger of what you get here which is a meal centred on food, laughter and conversation plus makes it a wonderful visual treat. Coming to the food, there are no mediocre dishes here; everything is the first rate as head Chef Suprabhath Roy Chowdhury is no stranger to immaculateness. The caprese drizzled with balsamic from Modena makes for excellent antipasti. The selection of risotto and soup and the outstanding creamy spinach and nuts ravioli, fragrant with morel mushroom sauce is an absolute must-try. Save a little room for the heavenly ‘dropped lemon tart’ – delicious to the tee. The scrumptious meal can be rounded off with a cup of cappuccino or espresso. It is not as expensive as one may expect. It is thus satisfying to dine on good, authentic Italian fare out here. Buon appetito!❤❤

New course menu is beginning that you are never expecting those taste because of here brand new Italian chef coming with fantastic recipes whose name is Roberto. I have been more than 5 times to hit this restaurant whenever I have stayed in this hotel but Chef was changed this time that He was amazing. Please do not hesitate to visit and take a course from starter to desert. I am pretty sure Main dish could be the best ever!. Thanks Roberto I am honor to be here eating your professional effort

Nice restaurant, ambience and food has a good taste too. Staff is very nice and friendly. The menu give a good choice of pasta, risotto, pizza, salad, soup and some meat and seafood items as well. The restaurant is located inside the Le Meridian hotel.

I did not like the food. Bit great hospitality. The staff was really good

Nice I seriously liked salad with feta cheese. Was worth the price and was delicious.Italian restaurants has it’s own vibe. Sever was good too but Manager Ma’am was first confused whether Dineout can be used or not. Obviously when on app it is showing then it can be used without any doubt. I have paid through dine out in all 5 star properties and she didn’t added my membership points stating that i paid through dine out. This doesn’t makes any sense. In all hotels they add points regardless of payment mode but let it be.

Really enjoyed the food! Guests from Japan & Thailand were delighted.

This beautiful restaurant in Le Meridian, Gurgaon has a delectable selection of Italian dishes. You can order just about anything and rest assured that it would be one of the finest Italian dishes you have tasted! They have an open kitchen, so you can see your order being prepared with a lot of care and precision keeping in mind your requests. It was a delightful meal experience!

Nicely tucked away on the gitorni road to Delhi- this Italian restaurant is an absolute treat and we had a delicious Sunday evening. We ordered the grilled salmon, Diavola, bruschetta and spaghetti with Cheese Chili and garlic. The food was delightfully fresh and exceptional. The house Merlot and the chef’s attention on the food were fantastic coupled with the service. It’s a must repeat for us and should be the go to for all Italian meal lovers in gurgaon.

Food was excellent, service was let down. This property is famous for banquet and it happened the same way with us. We were two people and atleast 5 servers came to our table. So as usual too many cooks spoil the broth. Too many servers yet no service. It could be one of day but yes a fine dine at 5 star they can never afford an of day.

Le Meridien serves good food. Bella cucina is not for vegetarian. Very limited options in veg

An uber place with sophistication and style. The hand baked brick oven pizza cooked right in front of you was something new to me. Mushroom delicacies were excellent along with Arancini di Roso. If you are looking for authentic Italian cuisine this is the place.

Considering this place is at a nice hotel and has a nice setting, the food was so so below average. 1 star for the taste and quality of food. Giving it a two star because the service was alright (I guess, you kind of have to be at this price point). Don’t think I’d be recommending and going again here.

Very poor.

We loved the food at Bella Cusina. The restaurant has authentic Italian food. We enjoyed the soups and the authentically made pasta with fresh ingredients. The potato and mushroom soup as well as the pasta ricotta made in walnut sauce is a must try. Special mention to the Chef Roberto and Jitesh who made our experience at the restaurant memorable.

A room with a beautiful view and some tantalising food and drink options.

The staff is courteous but need to be a little more attentive, we had to keep raiding our hand to call them every now and then.

Ambience is cozy. The view of the swimming pool is beautiful.

Food- Well sadly they do not serve wine by glasses, so I settled for 🥃 with bourbon, Cabernet Sauvignon and bitters. And what a smooth ride of taste and sting it is! Loved it.

Starters with Calamari prawns and mashed potatoes was good. Soup was ok. The red snapper pan seared was delicious but the lamb shank was dry.

The Creme’ Brûlée’s though was outstandingly delicious!

Overall a good experience.

Table for 2 with drinks - Rs. 8000

Ambience- 5/5
A very well decorated and elegant restaurant with the proper feel of a fine dining. The live kitchen brings up the notch further as it is an amazing feeling to watch your food being prepared. The view from the window is very pretty.

Service-5/5
Very happy and joyous staff working at the restaurant. All the staff were properly groomed and courteous. The chefs and the waiting staff were very polite and helpful. It was absolutely wonderful to celebrate diwali over here. I would like to make a special mention of Chef Anuj working here who took good care of our needs and made Diwali a little brighter for us.

Food-4.5/5
We tried their burnt garlic and spinach Risotto, seafood risotto, seafood marinara pizza and spaghetti carbonara. All the food was very nice except for the pizza which was a bit smelly. The seafood risotto was the best item of the day. We also tried their tiramisu and ice cream, both of which were absolutely amazing.

The Le Meridian and its constituent restaurants and rooms have all, one common factor....they are all well laid out, so this one's no exception
The food could have been better tasted, but at least they were light on the palate and lacked an aggressive tone to it which I liked, wouldn't mind having food here again but nothing that would make me rush here also....

Huge fan of Italian and that got me here.. not that 'The one and only Italian food junction' but definitely one of the Italian food junctions. You'll love the service to say the least. The food was amazing .. We ordered Al Genovese Pasta and Pizza - Primavera..

Basil pesto is an all time favourite and loved by most of us ..

Primavera had this artichoke topping which had a peculiar taste and might not be liked by all. But the pizza tasted del-icious !!

We ordered two mocktails- Red Songo - watermelon n toniq water majorly
Naughty Apple- vanilla ice cream, pear purée and apple juice.. I loved it !

Putting together, it was a pleasent evening spent at this beautiful place with happy people around. #GoodVibes
Great Father’s day lunch at Bella Cucina. The ambience is like any fine dining restaurant with visible glass window kitchen. Our order of Asparagus & grape fruit salad, Chicken Artichoke Sun-dried Tomatoes Risotto, Truffle Mushroom Pizza, Tiger Prawns with edamame risotto were well presented and tasted very good except certain ingredients as mentioned in the menu were not visible. Le contesse pinot grigio white wine was a perfect accompaniment with the meal. Ended it with a sweet note with Espresso coffee mousse with raspberry caulis, Dark chocolate fondant with vanilla ice cream.

A mesmerising Experience always with surprises. I have been to Le Meridien a couple of times and trust me it’s my favourite among other places around. The ambiance is decent and you get to spend good time. Calm and quiet place but still happening. Food variety is great with many options without compromising on quality. Live counter offers different specialty on different days. Its a must try.

The portion size is good here.
The best part about the food is their presentation.
The quality of the food is good.
One thing to try for sure is their tiramisu.

Best. One of my favourite place. Love the pizza and what ever they have to serve to a vegetarian. There complimentary bread basket is unbeatable. Staff is really amazing. Kudos to Chef Anuj.

Very good food and great hospitality. Desserts were very well presented and super delicious. Staff was very cordial and attentive. Thank you

I enjoyed a lovely lunch here recently. We tried the cream of mushroom soup which was great by regular soup standards but was given a subtle 5 star treatment. It was beautifully seasoned and I loved it. I was recommended to have the spinach risotto and I didn’t regret it. Just the right portion size, great consistency, pungent hits of cheese in every spoonful. I loved it. I again relied on their recommendation and chose the chocolate ball for dessert. It arrived looking like a piece of art. The star of the dish was the smooth and delicious espresso mousse. I could have another ball of it :) That said, the mousse didn’t go well with the raspberry while the chocolate dome which did was too thick, to the point of being inedible (of course I ate it nevertheless). That was the only flaw in the entire meal. But that’s just a niggle. The sunlight beaming through the windows, the possibility of a warm swim beckoning outside, sophisticated yet simple food, it made for a good afternoon.

Ambience is 5 star! Service is 5 star! Food is 5 star!

Burrata and Arugula pizza is delicious. Roasted chicken is so flavorful and juicy. Risotto with truffle and mushroom is to die for!

While waiting, you will be served with their house bread and some sweet savory chutney.

This place is really lovely and will make all the stress of the day’s work gone.

This is not a sponsored review. I stayed at Le Meridien for business trip.

We had a dinner last week at the Bella Cucina Restaurant at Le Meridien and had an excellent time. The food was awesome and it was totally worth spending on. The hotel Le Meridien is beautiful and has plush interiors and we have visited the other restaurants there before. This time we chose Bella Cucina for dinner. The menu is small with only single items under choice for each type of poultry or fish. But the selection was good.
.
The sign of a great restaurant? In a good restaurant if you ask the staff which item is good, they may say all our items are great. But here our server specially recommended the chicken Parmigiana and he was on point. The dish was excellent. The chicken was pan fried minced chicken breast piece which was soft, with a crispy cheese layer on top. Baked potatoes, olives and cherry tomatoes on the side.
This dish was one of the best chicken dishes we had tried lately. We also ordered the Fresh catch fish Which was of Kolkata Bhakti, pan seared with the skin. On a bed of creamy spinach with balsamic vinegar. Again another delicious plate.
The plate serving size was average with one dish being sufficient for one person.
Both the food and the service were excellent and though the choice on menu is limited but it is well worth it.
.
Food taste - 5/5
Ambience - 5/5
Service - 5/5
Value for money - 4/5

Super Ambiance, warm hospitality and lip smacking Risotto, Pasta.... just loved it.... one of the best places to have Italian in Gurgaon. Only thing they have limited veg options.
Vikram Raisinghani
We tried this place for the first time and we have been looking for a good Italian place for a very long time. First, I would want to applaud the courtesy of the staff. Absolutely polite, warm and welcoming place to be with your partner and have a nice gourmet food experience. We ordered the gnocchi and cannelloni - both of them had an absolute classic taste (must try). For the dessert we ordered the chocolate fondant - not as great as the main course but its chocolate 😊. A delightful experience!

Bella Cucina : this place has multiple aspects worth mentioning. The space is huge and spacious which is great if you have kids with you. The staff is super awesome...they are warm, welcoming and make a special effort to honour customer's requests. The only thing is that their Tiramisu is a miss...it tastes different every time, so consistency in that will be really great.
Animesh Bhattacharyya
Bella cucina translates to “beautiful kitchen” is a culinary experience at one of the better location and of course ambience. Started with amouse bouche followed with caesar salad and the river sole - WOW an explosion of flavours ending with tiramisu.. service superb...👍👍👍👍👍
Aarati Kapila Kumar
Amazing food . Everything was great. The seafood risotto, the new addition spinach and kale gnocchi and amazing tiramisu . Great service too

A nice place for a quiet italian dinner.. and very reasonable if one uses zomato gold!!

We started with the complimentary bed basket which is served with a tomato dip - delicious bread.. though the bread could have been warmer..
We followed this with a veg pizza and arrabiatta pasta - both were really really tasty..
Will definitely visit again!!

The ambiance is good. Decor is spartan but good. The service was good. Our server was polite, helpful, knowledgeable and attentive.

Food was of good quality. We ordered cannelloni and pasta in al gevonese sauce. Both were well made and we ate to hearts content. The bread basket served to us had good breads.

Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend this place.

Bella cucina is the most prettiest and the most romantic restaurant!! It’s a perfect place if you are looking for a lunch date in winters or those sunday brunches with your bestie!! The corner seating of this restaurant offers the best view of the pool!! I ordered a pizza and a pasta!! Both of the dishes were decent!! The service was so good! And overall it was a nice experience!!
Anshu Agarwal
It's a big place with a warm vibe and quite an extensive menu for a restaurant in a five star hotel. We were a large group, so tried a couple of dishes. I loved the salads, starters and Main course. The desserts however, were just ok. The compressed beetroot salad and quinoa salad were my favorites amongst the salads, and the truffle pizza was to die for! Spinach and nuts ravioli and the vegetarian cannelloni were very good too. It's a good place for your Italian fix!
Dhruv Gupta
Extremely helpful and hostile staff. I came down with my wife for dinner and were overwhelmed by the service received “specially Tanmay”. The food was really really authentic and matches the standard. Ambience was very soothing and made it a perfect evening well spent. I highly recommend this place.
Prashant Behl
This place is really really good. One of the finest Italian food in NCR. The Chicken Parmigiana was to die for. Also the Risotto and Raviolli are yummy! Will be back soon. Thank you Avishek for the hospitality.
Jai
We had the mushroom soup, beet root salad, goat cheese, ravioli, risotto, mashed potatoes, fries, gnocchi, arancini, and of course pizza, pasta and spaghetti. For the desserts, we had tiramisu and chocolate cake. So that was a lot of food, and I must say that some were really good while the others were kind of average. I really liked the goat cheese, gnocchi, ravioli and arancini. I don’t really like mushroom so I didn’t like the soup much, but everyone else with me loved it. I also liked the risotto. T

Celebrated my birthday in August at this restaurant and was impressed by their food, ambience and service. One of the best dining experiences I have had
Rameswarghh
We started off with Cappuccino of Mushroom which is like a mushroom soup and personally I love mushroom and this Cappuccino was a delight to start with. Along with the soup we had Garlic Bread, Bruschetta and Salad Taster. Garlic bread was made a bit like extremely thin crust pizza and had the right amount of garlic and cheese. The Bruschetta were also crisp and well done with good toppings of corn and tomato. What really stood out was the Salad Taster.
Balanbos23
The restaurant is done up tastefully and has that quiet, sophisticated ambience that denotes class. I ordered a spaghetti carbonara and a glass of Muscadelle from Bordeaux, followed by a tiramisu and a glass of Malbec from Argentina. What I like about fine dining restaurants is that you are almost bound to get the wine you want, and both of these were my first option. The Muscadelle was a lovely full-bodied white wine with slightly earthy undertones, and the Malbec was a flavourful red I have had before and enjoyed.

Had a fabulous evening on Friday night. The food was indeed an education at the very best Bella Cucina has to offer. Chef Amit Kumar is a star and his execution of dishes was excellent backed by top notch service. It indeed was a memorable dining experience.

We tried the veg salad tasting platter, and it is spectacular. The beet with goat cheese was the star of the plate, but the quinoa salad would make a great light meal in itself. In the mains I tried the Pumpkin and Goat Cheese Risotto ( our server Chaitanya told me it was his favourite when I asked him for his views on it)- sublime is the word that comes to mind. Mellow pumpkin blending beautifully in a creamy and pinenuts for a change in texture. The lamb lasagne was also delicious and just the right portion size.

I had been here for lunch with a friend. The ambience is good and food is also delightful. The service was good service and the staff was also friendly.

My friend took me out for a Sunday brunch to Bella cucina at le meridian gurgaon. Have to say it has the best brunch I 've had. Their spread is huge n their display of food is do unique. They have a huge huge dessert section as well. My favourite was the smoked ricotta cheese. It was heaven in my mouth. The sushi, the mushroom soup is d best I've had so far, polenta with mushroom ragout , spinach risotto were all amazing. Their salads were very good too n most of the Italian fare was very different from what is usually served at buffets. I would be doing injustice if i dont give a special mention to their service. Our server was Tanmay n he was friendly, prompt N immpecable in his service. I would give me 6 stars out of 5. 😊highly highly recommended .

I must say my family and I had a delightful experience at Bella Cucina last Sunday. We had a small gathering of ~40 people for Sunday brunch, and the team (special thanks to DK) at the restaurant was very helpful in organising the event last minute. Not only was the whole setup very exclusive, but the service level was spot on. I must say the spread and selection of food for Sunday brunch is spectacular, with plenty choices in each cuisine. I think one of the only places in Delhi NCR that served oysters and lobsters in their brunch menu. The dessert bar also makes the brunch very unique. All in all, highly recommend this place for get togethers and worth the money!

The best Italian food in Gurgaon. A very beautifully done place and exceptional service. We were served by Tanmay, and he made sure we had the best that the restaurant had to offer.
Highly recommended...

Very nice restaurant with delicious serving. We ordered Penne arrabbiata and Primevera Pizza. Both the serving were very good in portion size and tasted authentic Italian. It is a must try place for all Italian cuisine lover. Service given by Tanmay was very good. Also Jitesh introduced us to the Molteni kitchen which is one of its kind.
Anita
Seldom have I given a restaurant 5/5 but honest to god had the best ever buffet spread here today. Have rarely seen a seafood spread (from lobsters, prawns, mussels to fresh oysters) and the most delightful cheese spread. The buffet is not to be missed. It happens every Sunday. I’m already planning my next visit.

Had dinner with family to celebrate a special occasion here. Our experience was delightful. Being a private occasion, the staff was careful to be attentive but not intrusive. There was live music with a good selection of love songs setting the right romantic and peaceful mood.
The food was excellent. We loved the Caeser Salad, Wild Mushroom Risotto, Burnt Garlic and Spinach Risotto, Pan Fried Quinoa Gnocchi and Braised Tenderloin and Parmagiano Lasagna. The taste was truly Italian with the right ingredients, and no attempt to spice up and indianise the flavors. The wild mushroom risotto was the standout...
Highly recommend this place for your next memorable event.

The place has great food and awesome service. Would like to specially mention our server Tanmay, his recommendations were really good and we enjoyed them all.

Fabulous food and superbly generous servings. Truly enjoyed every dish. Had a Rocket Leaves & Pancheta Pizza - Superb.

Had a very nice chicken pasta, which was well seasoned and fresh.

Also ordered for a Tenderloin Lasagne. Very well done.

And then, the tough thing to crack - we ordered a Rissoto which to our surprise still had a bite and was not all mush.

Definitely a recommended place and way better than Prego at Westin.

Gagan Bawa
Food was mostly flavorless. Nothing that jumped out. Prawn and Calamari Fritter was too salty. We ordered two risottos - mushroom and spinach. I would not say that they were bad, but they were not awesome, pretty basic risottos. Chicken and jalapeño pizza was super dry at the edges. Chicken and Porcini Pasta was okaish too. Roasted veg cannelloni was wonderful to look at but was almost inedible. Water service was slow and Aircon was not working properly. The only highlight of the evening were the live music played by duo and the beautiful decor of the hotel.

A perfect dining experience in terms of food, ambience and service. An italian fine dining restaurant and beautiful food to satiate your soul. The menu offers awesome options for food and wine collection. A must visit for that perfect dinner date or lazy afternoon brunch.

So one fine evening I went to have dinner there and really enjoyed the ambience , to my surprise they were real busy with some Japanese delegates , as I was told by my friends that generally they aren’t that busy . The ambiance gives a shoot out to 5/5 , the staff being so polite, wonderful and food at food suggestion one of us was pure vegetarian and really fussy about choosing food to convince him gives a big shoot out too 5/5 as well .
The food was awesome it taste so good .
Thanks guys for this wonderful evening :)

In this blog post, I cover the Italian Food Promotion which is currently underway at Bella Cucina, Le Meridien Gurgaon, from January 19 - 28.

A visit to Bella Cucina was long overdue. The newly opened Italian restaurant in Le Meridien Gurgaon is lauded for serving some of the most talked of delicacies influenced by the central and northern regions of Italy.

This new Italian restaurant in Gurgaon is definitely a must try! To all the food fanatics out there, their summer menu is worth a try. It's rare to find authentic Italian food in the city nowadays, I'm glad I came here. Their chef specially came to meet us and asked us what our preferences were.. we liked what he suggested. Thanks foe everything.

Italian fine dining with a satisfying view of a beautiful pool setting and various cuisines presented in the buffet, it’s a rich experience for sure.

The Christmas menu is on the cards with some lip licking desserts right from tiramisu to Christmas cake and the beautiful candy house.

Been here a few times now and each visit proved to be beyond our expectations.
Away from the gurgaon hustle bustle, the property is located along the gurgaon ridge, amidst peace and tranquility.

Quality food accompanied with great taste and good ambience. The staff of the restaurant, led by their Manager DK, are extremely warm and hospitable.

Keep up the good work!!

Went for Big Bro's Birthday. It was a great evening with a great host "Jitesh". We didn't try much means tried not to do experiments and ordered pasta, risotto and pizza. However, whatever we ordered was mouth watering and upto our expectation specially that homemade terenette chicken pasta in mushroom sauce, even burrata pizza was fantabulous. In short it was a great evening with family and exceptionally taken care By "Jitesh". Hats off to him. Would be visiting again.

Visited this place for Christmas special lunch.
I am an italian cuisine lover so thought of visiting this place.
So impressed with the ambiance and the spread i started with the cold cuts and salads.
Also in the appetisers i liked mac n cheese and Brussels sprouts and burrata cheese pizza.
The roasted chicken with cranberry taste also was a delight to the taste buds.
Saffron rissoto was something i did not like.
Fried pollenta with black rice and mushroom also tasted good.
Also i was so appalled with the dessert spread. Christmas cake, whisky and chocolate cremaoux and pineapple semifreddo was my favourite from the dessert spread.

But i was not too happy with the service of the place. Just the dessert spread made me happy.

Absolutely outstanding food ! Chef Amit kumar has lived Upto the reputation preceding this place . We were a group of vegetarians who went for a meal and found a lot of options to order . Must try their mushroom cappuccino and the truffle pizza , spinach risotto. Great place . The wine list is good but very expensive. Great place and deserves a repeat visit. Well done chef Amit and team

I went this place a few days ago with a small group of friends. We had booked a separate area for ourselves. The ambience was overall pretty good. Now coming to the food, we had tried a lot of stuff on the menu. The salad and potatoes were okay. The pizzas and pastas were tasty but they were pretty average. The desserts were good, but I have had far better ones in other restaurants. Overall, it was a good experience and I enjoyed coming here.

The food here is very very good. Although there was a private party and we couldn't dine in the restaurant, I was happy with the food. If you love truffles u gotta stop at this restaurant. Truffles heaven!!

Went here with my friends cause heard a lot about there pizza , posh setting , great ambience and interiors , service could have been better as wait staff isn’t always present near you and you have to search them out even if the restaurant is half full , pizza were okay could have been better for the price but overall okay experience

Went to this lovely restaurant for my boyfriend’s birthday dinner, and we weren’t let down. The chef special mushroom frothy soup is the best soup I have ever had! The wine selection is fairly decent and main course is equally great. Only thing missing is an outdoor seating.

The food is authentic and exactly how italian cuisine should taste like. Since it's in a 5 star hotel the service and ambience are great and you could ask for nothing more. The staff is friendly. Will visit agai

I knew this evening was going to be very refreshing after meeting Chef Amit Kumar - his easy ,unassuming demeanor ,humility and honest approach towards his ingredients was bound to be reflected in his food.Chef Amit admitted that he wanted his guests to know exactly what was on their plates so taking recourse to complicated descriptions and fancy names was not his thing.#AnaditaSingh,Le Meridien's marketing head had this to say, " Chef Amit is a fuss free bundle of humility and talent who silently goes about doing his work ." By now I was really looking forward to an honest to goodness Italian meal curated and cooked unpretentiously but with a stirring passion and sound knowledge.

No molecular gastronomy or gimmickry here ! It was such a huge relief for me to be seated at a table and be spared the ravages of liquid nitrogen being poured over my food, transforming its texture and completely ruining its taste .The first course of Flavors of Goat Cheese came beautifully bedecked with flowers and micro greens;almost a study in delicate but discernibly different flavours, specially the Enoki mushroom filled cigar roll which was bursting with an umami taste. My palate was now piqued with anticipation. In the following courses, a Kalamata Olive turned into a paper,a soul satisfying Potato and Nut Gnocchi spiked with Olive Oil Butter ,a delicious double fried Quail Leg ,a nicely grilled Sea Bass, all made an appearance and won me over.

Coming back to the meal, the dessert was a Chocolate Dome - sinful ,delightful and quirky as the dessert plates arrived with postage stamp sized pictures of Mr. Mohan and the Chef ,on edible fondant flanking the Dome , eliciting even more awe from all present. What a fitting finale to a gracious, glorious evening !

For bringing together all the elements that make for a cherishable memory #DineWithRocky at Bella Cuccina scores a 4.6/5 on the MOVILICIOUS METRE.

A Highly Recommended Experience .

Some notes on the items that I tried from my meal at Bella Cucina. There's plenty more on the menu to try out.

Green Asparagus and Smoked Yoghurt Salad: served with orange sphere, baby lettuce and olive skin shavings.
A wonderful medley of flavours and textures. Despite the presence of so many other ingredients, the asparagus took centre-stage, which is exactly how it should be. Leafy, smoky, citrus-y, fruity - this salad had it all and will rank as an all-time favourite.

Spinach and Pine-nuts Ravioli in a Morel Mushroom sauce. Morels tend to be very expensive hence they are used scarcely. I do tend to grab any/every opportunity to try them out. This ravioli was very well-made however the morel sauce and a hint of truffle oil completely doused the rather delicate flavour of Spinach and pine nuts. A good effort, though, and an item definitely worth trying out at this place.

The Absolute Chocolate Cake: Bailey's chocolate sponge with hot chocolate poured. Simply nailed it. Just the right amount of bitterness (70pc cacao) made even more flavourful by the hot chocolate. Note: This was half a portion and a complimentary dish from the chef.

CoE: meal was paid for in full by me except for the dessert which I have mentioned was complimentary :)

I had been anticipating visiting Bella Cucina for a long, long time and I must say that it did not disappoint. As I entered the restaurant I was quite pleased by the grandeur of the dining room and the fact that the restaurant was practically empty was quite pleasing as well as I would enjoy advantages of enhanced and prompt service.I was then presented with a basket of bread with a tomato jam of sorts. The basket had two kinds of breads, one which I take to be a soft,'parmesany'bread and one a hard crusty bread. The Parmesan bread was delicious and so was the tomato jam served with it,although I must say,the other bread was way too hard and kind of pasty. Now we come onto the food!I ordered the mushroom cappuccino and the confit chicken tortellini. The mushroom espresso came and smelled heavenly. It was foaming and all and I was more than happy with the magnificent piece of porcini brioche, but unfortunately I spilt it,and the disappointing thing was that they did not even offer to replace it!But,All was forgiven when I had the confit chicken tortellini.A heavenly marriage of a French cooking technique and an Italian dish! The pasta was smooth and silky, the carrot purée was smooth and the best part, the chicken inside was not minced but, morsels which were actually cooked well!We also ordered the mushroom pizza which was oomphy as well! The desserts especially the tiramisu, were fantastic. All in all,the place was amazing and I would love to visit again!

If you are one of those who now and then have that craving of having a great Italian meal but are bored of visiting your regular favourites in the city, here's your chance to dine into one of the best Italaian in town and what makes this even better is that it comes for a price which won't pinch your pocket much. If I ask you what your favourite Italian dish is I am sure 90 per cent of us will say a pizza or a pasta but I say it's time to move on and try our hands into something different. The menu designed here by Chef Amit will take you to some other world altogether. From compressed beetroot salad to cappuccino of mushroom, from spinach and nuts Ravioli to Australian lamb rack all these wonderfully created dishes will make you go weak on your knees and love them even more. And what's even wonderful is the fact the way they look on the plate. After clicking like thousand pictures I finally had the courage to dig into these mouth watering delicacies and all of them tasted saporous.

Bella Cucina literally means a "beautiful kitchen" and beautiful it is. At the heart of the beautiful kitchen lies an imported Molteni. No two Moltenis are the same and the one in Bella Cucina is especially crafted according to Chef's needs. The charming decor of sandstone and marble finish, rich colourful leather seating, 3 private dining rooms and playful coming together of artistic pieces will transport you straight to the regions of Italy. It is so wonderful to see the chef cook everything live in front of you and how as the trend goes your preferences are asked. Just tell the chef everything you like and he will do the rest and trust me the chef at this age is very well versed with what he is doing on a plate and he truly is a master of his art.

So here is what we ate and loved:

Cappuccino of mushroom: Velvety smooth and richly flavoured, cappuccino of mushroom is made using lots of butter, cream and different types of mushroom. Wonderfully frothed this was served with some fresh breads and mix leaf salad with balsamic.

Macerated Green Asparagus: And the moment this is on your table, you will for sure fall in love with this. Trust me I am not a fan of Asparagus but Chef Amit changed my conception and made me fall in love with this wonderful ingredient all over again. Apart from that, the plate is decorated with wonderful flavours of olives shavings, rocket leaves, grape fruits, orange, cream and edible flowers. A must try.

Compressed Beetroot: Cooked with a sous vide technique (Once limited to the pros, sous vide (pronounced sue-veed) is a cooking technique that utilizes precise temperature control to deliver consistent, restaurant-quality results. High-end restaurants have been using sous vide cooking for years to cook food to the exact level of doneness desired, every time) this is the best salad I have had in my entire life. The beetroot is compressed to make it softer keeping the flavour intact. Its then topped with baby arugula and goat cheese snow. Trust me this is the best thing you must have had in the recent past. Like for me one plate óf this salad wasn't enough and I ordered another as soon as I was over with this. I wish I can have this every day.

Cherry Tomato Risotto: This was something new for me as I have had Risotto but not in this form. The Risotto is cooked in tomatoes to give the dish the citrusy flavour and the sharpness comes in with Ligurian olives. Pangrattato adds bold flavours to the dish.

Spinach and nuts Ravioli: Wonton wrappers make perfect little ravioli parcels. These burst with the flavour of spinach, pine nuts and ricotta cheese and the end reult is an irresistible vegetarian dish.

Chicken Parmigiana: This is one of the go-to dishes when I eat at Italian restaurants. Lots of them do it but only some get it right. Rich, flavourful, and totally satisfying, Chicken Parmigiana was done to perfection. The sauce was excellent and so was the chicken.

Chilean sea bass: When I thought that I have had one of the best meal and shouldn't expect more in came the Chilean sea bass. What a beautiful plate it was. It looked beautiful and tasted divine. The fish was cooked with the skin on and that added the crispiness to it. The garlic potato flan, brocolli puree and the coriander vanilla sauce was all that was needed to complete a wonderful plate of art.

Espresso Coffee Mousse: How can I say no to a dessert here now. The mousse came in a Chocolate dome with raspberry coulis. Espresso coffee mousse is a lovely and creamy dessert, perfect for those who love coffee's strong and invigorating aroma.

What a beautiful evening it was and thank god it ended on a sweet note with the mousse. Guys whenever you go to dine in here as they are only operation in the evenings don't miss a chance to meet the chef and let me explain you everything on the plate. I am for sure going back here with no expectations because the chef might just surprise me with something new.

Happy eating :)

I recently had dinner here with my wife and we loved the place. Tucked away on the edge of Gurgaon inside Let Meridian, this restaurant is a welcome addition to Italian places in Gurgaon.

The must try at Bella Cucina is their handmade pasta. The food is absolutely amazing. The staff is very courteous and attentive.
Overall is was a great experience.
Amrita Rimjhim
Great service, above-average food. Tried the minestrone soup which was just about okay. The roast chicken ,which is apparently cooked for four hours, was great. Salmon was done well. Also ordered for an aglio olio pasta with shrimp and that was decent too. Was not very impressed with the dessert menu but tried the tiramisu and it was okay, not wow. The bummer was they were not serving alchohol due to the recent SC ruling, but that could change in the future.

Definitely a great place to have Italian food in Gurgaon. The ambience is alright but nothing to write home about, considering it's such a nice hotel otherwise.

Must try

Soup
Minestrone Al Genovese

Starter
Pan Fried Calamari and Prawn

Mains
Chicken Parmigiana
40*C Atlantic Salmon

Dessert
Espresso Coffee Mousse

All the above are just awesome.

If you are a Tirmisu fan like me and my friends, I wouldn't recommend their version. It's just a lot of cream and very little cake. Also I am a strict believer that Tirmasu should be shaped as a piece of cake and not in a curved glass as unless you don't get a proper bite of all the layers in one go, It's just not worth it.

All in all this one gets a thumbs up from me.
Prachi Pant
Rich fusion food with fine attention to detail. Tried a special menu that the following was a part of:
Flavours of goat cheese
Burrata filled olive
Sous vide spinach, nuts and more
The experience was excellent and so was the ambience. For those who enjoy those fine dine experiences with their favourite glass of wine, do give it a try!

We recently dined at Bella cucina, and were glad to have dined in this place, right from the welcoming to the service and food; everything was just brilliant, the must try are - Bella cucina garlic bread, pumpkin risotto and the tiramisu
Great food backed up with super service !!!! We opted for a chef's special curated menu for which one needs to call in advance - the ravioli and braised lamb were my personal highlights.

Thanks to the team at Bella for making a special occasion a memorable one.

Bella cucina is tucked away in le meridien hotel, gurgaon.
Bella cucina has an amazing ambience and Extremely courteous staff .
This place is incredible and very well payed out ,however the cost for dining is on the higher side .
The arancini balls were amazing .Crunchy on the outside and oozy and cheesy on the inside .Perfect .
Their pizza was loaded with bags of flavour and the crust was cooked in the wood fired oven to perfection .
Coming to the dessert ,the 'petit Antoine' dessert was fabulous .It was perfectly balanced ,niether too sweet nor too salty .The Chocolate pastry was incredible and it's rich and intense sweetness was cancelled out well by the refreshing raspberry coulis .The presentation was also impeccable .

Overall ,very satisfied with my dining experience here .

Had gone there with the Nearbuy experiences offer and must say that both the ambience and food were ecstatic. Loved the 'taste of Bella Cucina' dishes and the service was anyways great. Kudos to Meridian for having the best italian food place in Gurgaon. :)
Anuj Kumar
Average experience with low quality service and nothing great on food.
The kitchen is almost attached and yet the food served is not hot. We sent our dishes back twice due to them being not warm enough. The chef was there to apologize profusely and also give us discounts for our bad experience, but that does not really make up for both the service and food being below par.

The trend of mushroom coffees is catching up, as is the debate with its highly beneficial effects on health. Keeping up with the trend is this frothy mushroom cappuccino served with brioche, Bella Cucina’s savoury take on cookies. The mushroom trio, comprising of the Portobello, Porcini and Button mushrooms adds the right kick to the espresso.

The starwood property restaurants are truly wowing me with impeccable food and service. While Prego remains on my repeat list for comfort Italian and an excellent wine list, Bella Cucina is going to be on my repeat list for an innovative fresh menu and a great vibe. They have a great list of wines by the bottle, but the glass list isn't half bad. I enjoyed my Banfi Sangiovese tremendously..
the freshly baked breads come with a delightful sundried tomato dip. The vibe is lively and yet quiet enough to allow you to have a conversation. The service is friendly and pleasant. All in all, lots to love about this place. Authentic Italian is still rare in Gurgaon. I am so glad there is Prego and now Bella Cucina to address this gap!

With typical five star ambitions and prices to match, Bella Cucina, a cavernous restaurant has become much of the city’s favorite destination for refined, upscale Italian cuisine. The chic dining room, ticks off all the essentials of a very opulent grand hotel.
The all-Italian wine list is suitably encyclopedic and exorbitantly priced.

An upmarket shrine to the simple pleasures of the Italian cuisine, we started off with a Bacon Caesar Salad which is a gutsy gamble from the chef with bravado to burn with not so traditional ingredients but spectacular flavours which manage to impress.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Compressed Beetroot Salad with Goat Cheese Snow and baby Arugula which was pleasantly fresh, slightly chunky and aptly seasoned.

Bella Cucina's artful spin on your regular poached eggs is a rather fine sight to behold. Behold the poached egg with hollandaise.
Neon yolked poached egg that commands a slender sigh as the silken sunshine oozes out, lavished with a rich beautiful spinach hollaimdise and draped in wisps of micro greens and plump cherry tomatoes.
So piquant and eye poppingly stunning, the chef tells us how classics are done right, well with a delightful twist of course

Smoked Chicken Salad is much like an artful painting on a plate dotted with baby vegetables, avacado mousse and cucumber jelly. Simple flavours behold a rather gorgeous plate of food.

Culinary magic takes a centre stage with their handcrafted Raviolis that still make me salivate.
Spinach and Nuts Ravioli with a Creamy Morel Mushroom sauce had a carnivore like myself drooling over the richness and balance of well made pasta encasing delicate filling. Prawn Ravioli was equally boastful of bold bisque flavours & young tomatoes finished off with foam (some theatrics are justified)
Keeping things simple in an Italian affair came in the modest Arabiatta Pasta made with abundant perfume of garlic and chunky tomatoes, finished off with mellow Parmesan. Al dente and just right.

It was the Chilean Sea Bass served with a broccoli purée that didn't last long in the middle of the table.
Bella Cucina is a rare Italian restaurant with desserts worth saving room for.
The Expresso Coffee Mousse is quite a showstopper with some of the ubiquitous theatrics. A dark chocolate dome encases a gooey moist sharp mousse with splashes of raspberry coulis that makes the plate look artistically an abstract dessert beauty which cracks open into a beautiful inchoate mess of chocolatey goodness.
If you have a fruity bias in desserts, the Drop Lemon Tart should be the perfect choice to end your meal with.
Creamy & dense lemon curd is just made perfect with a balance of sweet and salt on the crusty pie base. I wish the base was more moist than brittle but that still didn't prevent me from enjoying my last sweet bits of deliciousness at this fine Italian restaurant.

Verdict
Slender sophisticated courses of well executed Italian dishes prepared fresh and delicately to transmute a taste of Italy to the plates of the diners.
This is just about as authentic and inventive Italian cuisine gets without losing its conventional roots.

Cost/ person: Rs 1500
Will I visit again? Yes.

I must admit that I hadn't heard about this place before last evening. When a friend of mine suggested we have dinner here, I had to google them out.
Initial reaction: The restaurant is very well made. Impeccable table settings, service, ambience and the glass kitchen adds to the whole experience. They have 2 huge private dining areas which can be used for big groups. Fresh bread is very delicious.
Who went: 2 of us.
What did we order:
Wild Mushroom Arancini: Melting in mouth deliciousness. It was amazing. Came as 4 medium sized balls which was a good appetiser for 2 people.
Salad tasting platter: Came as small portions of 4 salads. Very good in taste and I will have this again on my next visit. My favourite was Beetroot salad and Pomelo & Asparagus Salad. Again this is sufficient for 2 people on sharing basis.
In Main course: We settled for 2 pastas: Genovese (Pesto based) and Bosciola (cream and mushroom) with whole wheat pasta. This was not a good experience. We returned both the dishes as the pasta was not edible. Sauce was good but pasta was chewy and rubbery. We realised its because it was whole wheat but not cooked well enough.
They graciously remade the pasta and it was just a little better. We didn't finish the dish.
My suggestion to other diners: They have a wide range of pasta so go with that. Leave the whole wheat/ healthy part out.
My suggestion to chef: Pls work on your whole wheat pasta and add some variety except penne.

Note: They have a very good selection of wine and The staff is very well trained. Full marks to them for the same.
Value for money: For sure yes, the above food incl a bottle of wine was 7k which is as good as any stand alone restaurant in Gurgaon/ Delhi now.
I will for sure come back but obviously not order Whole wheat pasta. Maybe Pizzas next time or Risotto/ Ravioli. They have a huge selection of these too.

Was pleasantly surprised today. Had a perfect, delicious meal. Dunking the accompanying warm brioche into the divine Mushroom Cappuccino, was bliss, creamy yet light, redolent with Truffle scented oil, served hot in a tea cup (one by two.)

The mellow, sweet, nutty gruyère juxtaposed with copius amount of sharp, tangy gorgonzola and light tomato concassé made the Fromaggio Pizza a delicacy.

Perfectly grilled prawns and scallop in a peach coloured Risotto, creamy and slightly tart with juicy cherry tomatoes was fabulous, the rice done perfectly al dente.

In its earlier avatar, namely Riviera, food was excellent, prices intimidating and portion size leaving you not unlike Oliver Twist. Now, Bella Cucina, at Hotel Le Méridien, Gurgaon has risen gracefully from its remnants, serving excellent food, at just about right portions, and at attractive prices. Bella Cucina is truly allettante.

Christmas Eve calls for celebration. And as you may know, my kind of celebration involves a solo outing to some place I can count on for great food. I had seen great reviews of Bella Cucina on Zomato - and given my love for Italian food, especially in a fine dining restaurant, I booked a table right away. I arrived at a little before 8, when there weren't too many others. The pasta was delicious - my only complaint is that the portion size was a bit too small to really make a proper dinner, and the sauce was a bit too watery. The tiramisu was presented beautifully on a plate half dusted with cocoa powder, and topped with three coffee beans on a sliver of dark chocolate. It was smooth, creamy and utterly decadent! Service was faultless, courteous and attentive without being intrusive. And the bread served gratis was some of the best I have had. Overall, a wonderful experience. Highly recommended for a special wine and dine night.

On a friend's recommendation, I visited Bella Cucina along with a few of my friends. The ambience and decor is very stylish and classy. The place was very neat and clean and we were greeted quite nicely by the staff. In a few minutes, our server Chaitanya was here and I will have to say a few words for him. He is one of the finest server that I have come across. He was well versed with the menu and gave us absolutely wonderful suggestions for both food and drinks. He was extremely polite and made sure that we had a good time.

It had 4 salads, Quinoa, Beetroot, Caprese and Asparagus Salad. The interesting thing about the salads was these are not made the normal way. They use some molecular techniques like jellyfication, spherification etc. This adds a very unique twist to simple cutting of vegetables. For instance, the Caprese salad had tomato made into a jelly filled with mozzarella.

On Chaitanya's recommendation, my friends ordered a few drinks and from what they told me they were very happy with all of the drinks. I am guessing they were pretty good since everyone went for a repeat order.

For main-course we had truffle mushroom pizza and Ricotta Gnocchi. Both of them were very well made and tasted great. My friends also had Roast Chicken, Chicken Parmigiana and Lasagne. From what they said, all the dishes were extremely delicious.

In dessert I had the espresso coffee mousse. Besides it being very impressive to taste, I have to give extra brownie points to the presentation. When the food looks good, it always tastes even better.

All in all, we had an amazing experience and I will most definitely be coming back for more!

Home for me is Toronto. I was in New Delhi to reconnect with my good old friends and we decided to go to this beautiful restaurant. Italian has always been my favourite cuisine and by far this was one of the best places to treat my palate. I got a chance to have a small talk with Amit (head-cheff) and Vikas (cheff) who are amazing at their craft and quite humble.
Service (Chaitanya- funny guy) was excellent. Ambience, on-point. I rate it 5.
If you happen to be in Delhi and don't seem to decide on a restaurant for Italian food.
Bella Cucina is it.

Great ambience and Great food, the moltini is main attraction of the restaurant, great wine list too. Must try are the chicken parmigiana, seafood risotto and the tiramisu.

Le Meridien Gurgaon has recently opened its first speciality restaurant since the inception, and it is time for the Hotel’s Patrons and Italian food lovers in Delhi NCR to rejoice as Head Chef Amit Kumar brings some unexplored Italian delights to the table (and the focus is not on the old-school Pizzas and Pastas over-done with cheese). Bella Cucina Le Meridien has been opened under the guidance of Executive Chef Roy who adds his own touch of years of culinary experience.

Had a wonderful meal at the restaurant. Must compliment the chef as the menu was been wonderfully crafted. Chef Has kept in mind that there are a few dishes in every section where he can show his talents on the table. Looking forward to be back to further explore the menu. Keep up the good work guys.

The best Italian food I've had in a long time. Impeccable service and hospitality! The ingredients were superb and the food was well presented. We have found out goto Italian restaurants.

I went to this restaurant with my husband and had a great afternoon. Simply Awesome food with attention to detail. Compressed Beetroot Salad was something that I will remember for a while. Neat presentations and Chef Amit, Head Chef of the restaurant did a wonderful job in terms of hand picking his ingredients. KUDOS TEAM... KEEP IT UP!!!

I dined at Bella Cucina last night and what can i say!!! I love Italian food and i felt i have finally found a place that i can go to again and again. It is done up with Italian sand stone, has a live kitchen, a pizza oven and three decent sized Private Dining Rooms. The place has a subtle feel to it with prompt staff and Chefs who love to cook your food the way you want! I had a very good discussion with Chef Amit and i must say everything that came on the table was tasty and presented beautifully. The smoked tuna with poached egg was done to perfection. I had prawn ravioli followed with Lamb rack with spinach puree for my mains and both the dishes were just outstanding. The service was very prompt and just right without being too intrusive, just the way it should be. All in all a new star has born and i am sure it will be one of the much talked about restaurant in times to come !!!

Bella Cucina is the latest addition to the Guugram scene of high end eating places. Le Meridien has a beautifully done place with 3 PDR'S yes u heard it right. Lavishly done PDR'S ( Private dining Areas) Also the restaurant gives out highly romantic vibes with candles lit up and light music playing in the background.

The rustic oven and the multi million stove is another highlight of this place. Chef Amit Kumar has churned out some superb dishes especially the rustic hand made pastas , thin crust pizzas and the salads.

Must try is the Mushroom capuccino, Prawn ravioli and the 8 layer chocolate cake.

Pricing is not too high making this a regular visit place. They also have a great Wine collection which can be well paired with the Italian food on offer.
